    Sadhguru I listen to everything you have to say. For those who have ears to hear, let them hear. I wish I could be fortunate enough to spend a day with you just listening to your teachings. I am in the medical field and have taken my knowledge and branched out in a different direction. I now look after seniors. I try to impart my knowledge to people who want to hear that we can simplify our life and not run in several different directions. From young I have taken care of my body, I don't believe in taking medication for anything, and I do believe in eating healthy to take care of my body which in turn takes care of me.
    Thank you Sadhguru for going on youtube and bringing us your pure unadulterated knowledge.

    Sadguru, teaching idea of yogic culture to world is what which was missing these many years, and he is proving a point that this is the one culture which had enormous idea of life. And this culture only will bring peace to the world. And one more thing is, different religions fooled people and had destroyed humanity with the poor idea of life, Sadguru is filling the gap. Thanks Sadguru.

      @Beena Zaidi Just asking you to Could it be that your response is driven from the identity mind, what this man described as the second mind.
      My own thoughts...if a man is trapped in his idead of identity, no matter whether in my backyard or yours, and which I think most of us are, we are going to be what we are today. Because of our education, and feeding of ideas from all sources, we have become a world who we are. Only if we transcend that, the world will no longer be collection of countries but just one entity. By saying that I limited myself to another identity...one world. But that was to trying to bring you out of a (probably) a smaller identity of a country or a region.
      Nothing against no one. Just discussion. I believe everyone is right..
      One who says it black and also the one who says its white. Because that's what their identity mind tells them. It must apply for me too.
      Cheers

    I am immensely enjoying this hard to process conversation. 🙂 There are so many boundaries in this conversation, and I love how they are working together to understand each side. I fully understand neuroscience, as a person with a passion since childhood. I am an avid follower of Sadhguru. I've have amazing dreams of what a conversation would like between these two types of "human observers", so wise in their works and fields, yet still so different, like oil and water. I contend that these two subjects combined with Great care, can help us gain that inner engineering goal, and assist in healing traumatic injury. Thanks for the share.

Different perceptions lead to other timelines and language is definitely a barrier between humans, that’s why we have achieved so little in so many years just because of a trapped mind.

    This shouldn't be perceived as a debate whether someone who comes from mysticism or science is wiser. Science is a tool that examines mechanisms in the physical realm and tries to decode it. Mysticism is a tool of exploring the spiritual realm. Each tool serves a different purpose. We need both. Maybe both interlocutors are climbing the same mountain just from different sides. Both of them should be respected because both of them are contributing to society and both of them are doing their thing with their hearts put into it.

    Understanding the Arabic language, I perceived...
    Shiva = that which is not
    Al Lah = that which is not.
    Many generations ago, our elderly experienced the knowing, with time it became knowledge and “know how” without really “knowing why”
    Sadhguru, thank you.. I’m finally looking within instead of the nonsensical path of looking, somewhere, to reach the knowing.

      More and more confirmation. The One Infinite one sure works in mysterious ways!
      Thanks man.. a gift from the self to self.. 😉
      And it's always wonderful to see people turning inward.. not because someone said to do it... But just going and experiencing it and seeing it for yourself.
      And finding an expert to help at the beginning is important I think... Will continue to do what I can.. but me personally is waiting to find someone like Sadhguru to just introduce to the system.

      how you write the word changes its meaning, in one mystic writing ALLAH describes Arm Leg Leg Arm Head which describes the human body which would coincide with the notion that God did create humans in Their image

    • @lacsapeduoa564
      @lacsapeduoa564 4 роки тому +3

      Salman Tajamal
      With respect for all, (on many subjects,) more wrong than ( Naik ) there isn’t .. “I’m alluding to the link UA-cam videos you included in your comment”
      La = no
      Lah = not, same thing...
      I didn’t learn my Arabic online.
      and yes, with time this word became synonymous with the word God, for translation purposes.
      The Jewish faith has never been allowed to name “God” or to use any sound to allude to the one God.
      The only words they can use to name something that isn’t is YAHWA YAVE etc. which most probably means the way to get to know, that which is not.. and YAVE or Yahwa is most probably an old word for yoga.
      Pagans back then, realized they couldn’t live without water, food, wind, light etc. So they used to pray for all these things and form a deity for each thing and worship them.
      Then they realized that the greatest and grandest thing out there is the emptiness.
      That witch is not.
      And yes it is the greatest thing out there and science has proven that even inside an atom the most grand thing 99.99% is emptiness or nothing.
      Does this sound to you like the most famous phrase in the world of Islam today?
      Allah Akbar = That witch is not is the greatest or grandest thing.
      Did you ever ask yourself, what was inside the building of Makka ?
      All types of pagan statues alluding to different Gods, and pilgrimers used to go there to pray all Deities at the same time at least once in their life. “Long before Islam”
      Until Mohammed ( peace be upon him ) destroyed all the statues and said... la ilaha illa Allah.. right?
      Notice please..
      ilah = god
      Allah = that witch is not ( the-not )
      In pure translation: No god but that witch is not
      So please don’t use the word “ ilah” Mohammed (pbuh) said no !
      Too much coincidence to be ignored.
      In my opinion the most perfect word in Arabic, to describe the greatest & grandest thing out there.. “Allah”
      Indeed Allah Akbar..
      That witch is not is the greatest thing.
      By the way, Jews also respect a period of time, called SHIVA, right after the death of someone, they remain praying the Shiva, for the soul of the departed loved one, for a good week almost. Because they know that the physical body remains eternally on the ground, the knowledge we gather becomes anyway almost useless with time or gets surpassed by better theories, and the breath of life or soul or call it whatever, returns to its origine.. to that witch is not.. Allah. Shiva.
      I’m not starting a new theory here, I just noticed what’s obvious.
      Now if you wish to believe without questioning, only what dr. Naik says, it’s your choice.

    It definitely has helped people understand what I believe, that it's not about the happiness or contentment we are all and why we do search for which gives us a result .
    But Its about learning the way of both the 2 different people learn but how we feel and then the result of the understanding before we use it. Such as a word used here would be, nuclear and its results.
    So if we all had the understanding of clear consciousness, then the world would be an amazing place, everywhere.

    Sadhguru would enjoy having conversations with many awakened scientists and medical sciences at the current forefront in the turning point of phenomenal change in this lifetime like Bruce Lipton, Joe Dispenza, Greg Braden. They know experientially there's more than mind of brain and body that cannot be defined, and have merged wisdom and knowledge in their works, as Sadhguru says, the knowing of using the sharp instrument "knife" intellect.

    Sadhguru is quite right about the misleading role of eduacation, but nevertheless we are all educated to some level because we see, hear, and learn from our environment. Even Sadhguru is educated, he speaks English and dresses Indian, and he understands the human problem that needs solving... though it's good that he knows and teaches that education is part of the problem.

    You have to go inward. Meditate in silence only naming what you hear then watching your thoughts name it then put it down and on to the next thought. By watching your thoughts and not identifying with them not labeling them as good or bad you will then open up a space. Hold this opening for as long as you can and then once finished watch a possibility open up. Something fulfilling so fulfilling. It might not open up for a day or two but usually it is immediate. This is garunteed!!!!! Try it! Life does not want you to know know know. It is all about not knowing so the surprise is fulfilling! The more you practice the more the subtle joy develops. It's happened to me unconsciously twice before and this time I investigated more and I've found it for the third and final time. Now everything is going right the conscious creating it happening not ego creation but cosmic creation. The actual path that was designed for me not my ego trying to create!

    I would love to see/hear the truth of what science truly is or means being shared or made widely understood, appreciated. It is a principle or discipline, an understanding of how to learn, explore etc in a truthful way, beyond personal bias. How to achieve knowledge found being universally true. In the true definitions, there is no opposition or contradiction between science and spirituality. Often spirituality is more dedicated to universal truth, but true spirituality must be in harmony with scientific exploration. Truth is not only subjective. It is what really happened, what really is happening and what will really happen. Is one clear, universal and true definition and understanding. Like nothing can come from nothing as an absolute concept. So there was never nothing. 1 Love

    David Eagleman is really like a literal "Eagle Man". Very sharp (intelligent) yet very keen to listen. I know he has a lot of things to say but he just said about 1% of it. The best conversation I ever heard. Like I don't want to end this scene. But to summarize, what's next in life or in the cosmos as a whole is all about a GUESS (scientific or not). Sadhguru talks of Inner Engineering while Eagleman is on the science side that is based on human senses. But as an ordinary person, Inner Engineering is too deep to fathom for an average person while science (As Eagleman said) is still too young. My guess is this: I agree with Sadhguru that science is: you study one and will lead to another, and to another. Sadhguru pointed out that if we just master or understand the 5 elements, then we can have all the access to life. But I would disagree with that because we can't eat the whole bread in one bite. We need to understand the whole idea piecemeal. My basic understanding of science is that it is the pursuit of knowledge but it's tracing something. Right now, science starts the tracing from the main branch going to the roots, then to the twigs, then to the leaves until science will then picture the whole TREE. Similar to the so-called 4th dimension idea, it would be hard to tell that we are living on a tree if we do not see the WHOLE tree first.

    I find myself frustrated with Sadhguru in this. He is communicating a profound concept. Through meditation and reflection he has found a deep understanding of himself. This understanding has been a powerful tool for finding peace and detaching from the desire that gives our ego control over our inner selves. But he has taken this understanding of himself as a fundamental truth about the physical nature of our universe. He did not seem to listen to the scientist or actually discuss the important topics the scientist brought up. Most importantly, the mountain of evidence pointing towards the purely physical medium for consciousness. Instead, Sadhguru always just returns to his talking points without addressing the scientist. He admits his ignorance to science, which I have a lot of respect for. But his lack of education clouds what he can know about reality. He is limited to spiritual thinking, which is not a tool we can use to obtain objective knowledge. It is a tool for introspection.
    Most comments here see Sadhguru as infallible. Be wary of your biases. Question everything. Through inquiry and skepticism of all perspectives, we can come closer to the truth. Before watching this I viewed Sadhguru in a somewhat idolized light without knowing it. He is very wise and I have learned much by corroborating his perspective with what I have learned from other mentors and in meditation. But I must always take a step back and remember that each individual is just a person.

    • @Burnmarx
      @Burnmarx 2 роки тому +2

      Enjoyed reading your perspective. I agree with everything that you said, but i think that alot of how Sadhguru speaks when attempting to communicate his points gets lost in interpretation. While the foundation of his perspective is based on an understanding of himself, what he speaks to is that modern science, in its attempt to understand consciouness, will always fall short trying to find it within the physical reality. The reality that can only be percieved through the five senses. There is no tool, by physical means, that will ever be able lead you any closer to understanding it. Its a concept that we've lost as a collective, which modern science completely avoids, and only focuses on the physical to explore non physical things.
      Think about it, modern science is only good for the discovery of new tools. Things that can provide efficacy and convenience. Mystics have always analyzed the nature of reality in its totality, beyond what could just be made to use and industrialize as a product. This has been the quest of the human since we gained this magic called consciousness. We in the west (believing youre here too) only utilize yoga and meditation to ease ailments, relieve stress, detach from the ego, ect. What no one here realizes, is that spiritual systems of almost every kind were built on the awareness of our death. Because once we became "conscious" after being apes or whatever we were before we then became aware of "time", which is then followed by death. What mystics understand is that, yes you can explore this reality and make it as nice as you want. Big house, cars, family., a dog, vacations, whatever you want you can have in most cases. BUT, in the end you will die, and what will do??? Do you go to heaven? Hell? Is god waiting for you?? or Satan? Krishna? Muhammed? Doesnt matter what you believe, but you will end up somewhere after this, and mystics believe they can control that outcome, and generate a destination of their own creation. This is what every mystery system is about, not a question or debate, humans have searched for immortality since we began. The funny thing about it tho, is that its a lottery system. Not everyone wins.....

    • @dutonic

      @@Burnmarx here is the problem with your statement. You are making the exact same mistake as sadhguru while believing I don’t understand sadhguru’s message. As an experienced meditator who has learned from many sources, I assure you I understand what Sadhguru is professing as knowledge. I have experienced the “inner self”, and I have been vastly empowered by this connection. That being said, you take his points a step further implying that you have definitive knowledge that you know an objective truth that science can never measure because it is beyond the boundaries of the tools of science.
      With all due respect, this is absolute rubbish. You cannot verify a truth by counciling yourself or listening to people around you. You can hear your own ego professing knowledge in lines like “heaven? Hell? Jesus? Mohammed? *you go somewhere when you die*”. In reality, there is absolutely zero empirical data about this claim.
      A oneness with the universe can only ever be a source of peace within ourselves, and a powerful one at that. But this inner peace can never give us answers about the nature of the universe.
      When you or Sadhguru say they know something science cannot understand, they are showing a ignorance to what science is and what it can do. I find this frustrating because science and enlightenment are not mutually exclusive. This can’t be understood except with great experience in both realms. Sadhguru is expressing wisdom in a way that puts science beneath him, elevating spirituality to transcendence. This is a baseless position to take
