Bless Unleashed has a core game that is a hidden gem. Specifically, it is hidden behind terrible engine optimization, extremely aggressive monetization, and gameplay loops that are actively hostile to player in an attempt to get them to spend real money. I don't understand why these game studios take all this time to make a great game and then ruin it. They could make more money and garner a really solid player base by just following the examples set by games like FF14 and Guild Wars 2.
It's really a shame. Even in Bless Global I could see little glimpses of things that genuinely seemed cool/fun. Feels like Bless as a whole could have been great, but there's always something that ends up ruining it lol. I love GW2 and still shamefully play WoW, I need to give FF14 a go one of these days 🤔
@@early-tv There's nothing shameful about WoW. It's an enduring game for a reason, after all. I haven't personally played in many years, but I was there on release (well, before release since I was in the beta tests -- which were absolutely WILD) and I raided Molten Core and Blackwing Lair pretty hardcore until life took over and I just couldn't do that anymore. Even then, I continued to play as my main game through Cataclysm. But yes -- you should DEFINITELY give FF14 a shot. It's a completely different game, and there is LITERALLY 400+ hours of content available FOR FREE since both the base game and Heavensward are included in the free-to-play package. Do make time for WoW Classic's Season of Discovery. It's looking like it is going to be absolutely spectacular, and I'd play it myself if I had the time -- which I do not, unfortunately.
@@Josh-99 sure there is. WoW doesn't respect the player's time, it hasn't done so in 15 years. if you aren't a mindless grinder, you lose. Dragon Flight might be different than the last 5 expansions, I don't know, Shadowlands was the last straw for me. Never again. Maybe I'll try out the new Season of Discovery on Classic if I feel bored, but that's it. So she's right to feel a bit of shame for playing WoW, I mean, you want games to respect your time.
@@Josh-99 WoW takes advantage of players nostalgic feelings. It had 2 bad expansions in a row, RMT through wow tokens, a battle pass thing? and some of the worst stories created. Dragonflight is ok but how many "2nd" chances blizzard fans give before enough is enough? I used to love blizzard but I got burnt over and over and gave up on them
@@early-tv FFXIV starts off slow because of A Realm Reborn, however the other 4/5ths of the game are super good, easily one of the best stories I have experienced in gaming, definitely recommend checking it out!

This is always the same thing with NFTs. Some manipulative tech-bro-gurus spouting non-sensical word salads about how their game/app/whatever is so great because of X/Y/Z thing that NFTs allow you to do with it, and in the end it's the other way around with loops designed specifically to introduce tokens that have no use. Of course, swiping is always called an "investment" and games are always called "pay to earn", since pyramid schemes need marks to actually believe it's a profitable business instead of the massive scams they are in order to profit to the grifters at the head.

This games feels like a someone decided to blend all FF14, Guildwars and I bet another 4-5 games' assets into a mish-mash MMO something something. I have to see how this "plays itself" behaves. I might want to leave it on like a fishtank and just watch it go... fascinating and weird.
Very good video! It was very entertaining, and yeah i dont know what could be the appeal of games that play themselves, they feel so empty and pointless and unfun that i just dont even know how they are even a thing 😅😅
Bless is probably the highest budget auto-playing game there is. Also, don't worry about answering to god for your character creation. You won't have to answer to them, they'll have to answer to you for allowing it to exist
an easy explanation for the Auto play of this game along with NFT is that it is a china ram farm, most asian cultures also have Gold farmers on WoW that sell millions of gold to trade for actual money online with other players. I assume that it's something similar to that, but much. much worse of a trade percentage since only a handful of people play bless. and NFT.
"An expert in healing, in whom much trust is placed." Oh, my. I've had enough of the word 'expert' in the media. Now it's in video games, too. And they even define it for you. Why is much trust placed? No reason, it just is -- because they are an 'expert'.
They're the people that people decided decides things XD As an aside, I really like the way you articulated this; not only do I agree, but it's both written beautifully and to the point.
@@miwky406 I'm a good writer and I've been wanting to write articles about how simple media mind control is.....but I'm confident global AI is at work already. Social credit score like in China is already being implemented in the West. 100% ready to go in the US once the currency goes digital. What if they go as hardcore as in China? You know in China if your social credit is too low, you're not allowed to use buses and planes? For real. I figure light youtube comments won't matter. But, wow, I could really go into detail. Even into graphic design, like how UI's work against you. Did you notice the new Skyrim paid mods UI? Looks just like Netflix. It discourages searching and curiousity. And its really simple to describe why all movies suck, and then the game industry got monopolized, and now the games suck, too. Everything is part of the Great Reset, including video games. Everything will be made ugly and stupid to crash the market on purpose. They WANT a boycott. Sigh. So I limit myself to little youtube jabs. There is an amazing essay written by George Orwell called 'Politics and the English Language'. It is the best.

The greatest method to control the people, is to convince the people to do it to themselves; all it takes is whispering the word "justice", and the ensuing fallout will never fail to ironically prove there is no such thing.
You forgot about 3 releases. The original game came out in Korea first, then Japan, then Russia and finally in NA and the rest of EU on Steam. The NA/EU version had a vastly different battle system that was simply not fun. Each release player base went down very quickly because of the same reason, no end game at all. And then Bless Unleashed was about as entertaining as Diablo Immortal. It's ridiculous that to this day, they are still trying to salvage that game in the worst ways possible. TBH, the universe is great. It's just managed by people who simply don't understand MMORPGs.
Ahh thank you!! Honestly Bless as a whole could be really neat if it would chill out with the mishaps haha. Though I have gotten a few comments saying that Bless Unleashed has some pretty redeeming qualities and definitely seems to have a fanbase. Unfortunately my only experience has been with Global 🤣🤣

Bless Unleashed shut down on console? Shit, my Xbox saves are gone then! (I have not played for over a year and didn't remember until seeing this video)
Here is a little tidbit of information, the original version of Bless had a B2P approach to the whole deal with a hefty Deluxe version that had a lot of in-game P2W stuff in it, long story short, a lot of people buy the Deluxe version spending a good 100+ USD in the game plus the optional membership the game had, when the game decided to go F2P and eventually closed a lot of people wanted their money back specially people that took a gamble on the game and purchased the Backer pack the amount of money the company owed is something I can't recall but it was enough to have a case filed in court about it, they didn't payed back any money, filed bankruptcy, launched Bless Unleashed and used a good thousand dollars of the Backers money to buy an sponsored review from notorious trash reviewer and sellout The Lazy Peon that singed prayers to the game while profiting from money that was scammed away by a scummy company.
Yikes! That's terrible, thanks for the info! I've gotten some comments from people that preordered Bless and Unleashed and say they never got preorder items as well. That really sucks.
@@early-tv Yeah, but could you imagine the salt if the selfplay ai, that they'd use for some harebrained marketing scheme, goes on to criticize the game they made it play.
@@early-tv As the game is already 2 years old, starting from scratch will be long road of learning. Also, it will take a lot of time to get past the "intro", which is at the very least lvl 70. Ofc there is also the way to buy a character (nft), which are 70+, but im not sure if i can recommend starting the game with 0 knowledge this way ^^. But also be warned that auto-play will be your main style of play, unless you are strong enough to be in top clans and fight for the good ressources. Then it is actually possible to manual all day long ;) (alright i'll stop now ^^)
Its brave of you to assume this was a mobile port 😂. Bless online started on PC, then after it crashed and burned they added a bunch of those mobile game features on the re release. If this game had a slightly more competant publisher on release (the og version) I think it would atill be player. But the game was rushed.
Auto Play can be great in Mobile games and, maybe non mobile games as well. However i feel it should be an option, otherwise the gameplay is pretty pointless. I HATE those games that give you the option of auto play and, it's either the AI is so incompetent that it's worthless or, the gameplay itself is so bad that there's no point in turning auto play off. Also those games that make you pay for "skips" i ain't grinding all that just for these terrible games, an idle game would be more fun and, they're literally designed to not be played.
Autoplay doesn't really appeal to me personally at all, but I get why other people might enjoy it or find it useful. This game actually plays relatively decently for a mobile game without the autoplay like I mentioned. But my feeling is most people tend to take the path of least resistance... There's not much incentive to play yourself since the AI knows exactly where to go, what to do, and the most efficient way to do it. In an MMO where there's lots of grindy-ness there's no point in putting the time and effort in playing yourself when everyone around you can get way ahead of you by just AFK playing. I'd moreso get the appeal of a single player type game that continues to accumulate stuff even while you're afk as opposed to fully playing itself. BUT there's a trillion different ways people can enjoy games, maybe I just haven't found the right idle game to win me over yet :D
crypto functionality combined with a game that plays itself? sounds like a crypto miner to me (a program that secretly uses your PC to mine crypto for them without you knowing). not saying this is what it is for certain... just how extremely sus that combo is
This is like a bad copy of "black desert online". i recomend just compering the two and i think you will see the similarities. The interface is allmoste the same. Nice video
does anyone know if there's a name for these types of graphics/art style from these korean-style mmos like black desert, hit 2, seven knights, bless, etc. ?
I was really hoping Bless would be a great MMO. I really adore their race/clothing designs. Made me appreciate furry aesthetics a bit haha but man--just everything about it now is just blegh. Or rather, blec.
Honestly from what I’ve seen of all the Bless games is that they have a solid aesthetic and neat character designs. Kinda a shame that they’re wasting it lol
Not gonna lie, I came in with no knowledge of this game and thus expected this to be the heartwarming tale of a small but plucky little MMO with an equally small but passionate fanbase that came to its defense despite the middling quality.... but no, it's crypto shilling all the way down. :\ That's kinda disappointing. But isn't that just how modern gaming is nowadays.
Ha, I felt the same way when I originally downloaded it knowing nothing about it. But! I do hear from the comments that the parent MMO Bless Unleashed is pretty okay.

@@early-tvit's been used numerous times to pump and dump the whales who spend tons of money on mmos. It's kinda crazy that it just keeps happening.
cool vid :) well done. any game that plays itself doesn't need me lmao
Thanks!! Yeah I uh.... really don't personally get the appeal of these autoplay games haha.
Really good video. Definitely stick with it and you'll be popular eventually!
Thanks!! Appreciate it 💕
@@early-tv It's all up to the algorithm. Make sure you always pay attention to things like thumbnails text being large and visible for mobile devices too so you can increase the click through rate. That's one of if not the most important thing to get more views.
underrated channel
Ahhh thanks, nice of you to say!! 💕
What a wild story! I really liked your style, btw. Subbed!
Thanks a ton, I really appreciate it!
the algorithm gods sent me here and im thankful for it
Blessed be the algorithm 🙏
As a Korean gamer, I feel ashamed whenever I get this kind of news. Thanks for the good video
Haha hey for every bad game there’s a great one ☺️
Thanks for the nice comment!
Bless Global is an abomination. so sad because the series had potential. Bless Unleashed is still one of my favorite mmos and I can recommend giving it a try! I just wish they put their time into improving it instead of- this >.
Honestly Bless Unleashed does seem interesting, I definitely need to give it a try! 💕
realy interesting video! I knew of bless global becuase of josh strife hayes review of it but I didn't know of the scummy practices the developper engaged in. I guess it's not that surprising considering it's a kMMO but regardless.
Hope you make more videos like this!
Thanks so much!
I'm a Josh Strife Hayes enjoyer, love his videos haha. Though ironically I haven't watched his video on Bless, I'll have to go do that!
Will definitely be making more videos in the near future!
This games feels like a someone decided to blend all FF14, Guildwars and I bet another 4-5 games' assets into a mish-mash MMO something something. I have to see how this "plays itself" behaves. I might want to leave it on like a fishtank and just watch it go... fascinating and weird.
Yep you got it, that's exactly what it feels like lol. The autoplay certainly is fascinating for a little bit at least hahaha.
i was there for both bless online and bless unleash,... it had possibility... but just no
Very good video! It was very entertaining, and yeah i dont know what could be the appeal of games that play themselves, they feel so empty and pointless and unfun that i just dont even know how they are even a thing 😅😅
Thanks for the nice comment, I appreciate it a ton!! 💕
I assume that it's something similar to that, but much. much worse of a trade percentage since only a handful of people play bless. and NFT.
13:33 I was about to give up hearing a joke around the "Bless" name.
Idk how I found your channel. But I’m glad I did. I just keep watching lol 😂
Looking forward to your next videos! I enjoyed this one quite a lot.
Thank you, I really appreciate it!!
devs: '' Let's make a game that play itself and all the player has to do is just throw money at Us for the great game we made :D''
There's a Garfield Kart game on steam?????
THERE'S A GARFIELD KART GAME ON STEAM!
Thank you for this, you made my day and steam library better.
Everyone needs Garfield Kart in their lives 😌
I would have suspected bots at first for sure.
4:51 noone going to mention the lady turning into a bird?
This was super interesting. Auto gameplay for an mmo like that is bonkers.
"An expert in healing, in whom much trust is placed." Oh, my. I've had enough of the word 'expert' in the media. Now it's in video games, too. And they even define it for you. Why is much trust placed? No reason, it just is -- because they are an 'expert'.
They're the people that people decided decides things XD
As an aside, I really like the way you articulated this; not only do I agree, but it's both written beautifully and to the point.
@@oodo2908 Make the people question the little voice inside themselves, and they'll rally to a tribe, happily waving that banner. Leverage the limited experience of the average person, and poison the flow of information that validates their perceptions. Watch as the people separate and define themselves as something different from one another, and in anger, police each others' differences.
The greatest method to control the people, is to convince the people to do it to themselves; all it takes is whispering the word "justice", and the ensuing fallout will never fail to ironically prove there is no such thing.
4:03 Ayo you better answer to God for that barbarian version of Sonic the hedgehog gosh dang what is that look at the top of his head yeeesh almighty
I remember at some point when BDO was still a fun game to play, bless online was supposed to dethrone it.
Now that I think about it, it's such a meme.
Masterful video.
Thanks for the comment, appreciate ya!! ♥
A game that plays itself? I guess when the robots finish taking our jobs they start taking our hobbies too.
The day when a game comes out that’s fully created by ai and plays itself isn’t that far off and that makes me weirdly sad 🤣
This looks like an AFK version of AION.
I listen this while eating and I when I heard BLEC I thought you just make fun of them didn’t realize they really use this name lol.
"gender not available yet"
Mood tbh me too
You had me once you recognised the game of all games… Garfield cart…
This was very entertaining to me, especially as someone who had too much optimism and preordered Bless Unleashed. :]
@@early-tv To be honest, there were a lot of issues with Unleashed on launch, but I'm glad some people are enjoying it. I remember the servers being an absolute disaster, and I didn't receive items I had preordered.
I'm looking forward to your next videos though :3
@@early-tvI actually enjoyed Bless Unleashed on Xbox, it just wasn't something I could play often.
SoniChad.. what have you done?!
you've got much better at making videos with time Bird, i'm saying in a good way
Thanks!! I’m trying to keep learning and makin things better as I go c:
Maybe the bless guys should team up with bethesda, they'd be the one studio the rerelease them all.
Hey I mean if Starfield played itself that’d save everyone a lot of time. Heuheue ✨
@@early-tv Yeah, but could you imagine the salt if the selfplay ai, that they'd use for some harebrained marketing scheme, goes on to criticize the game they made it play.
Lot of tripple A games where positive review bombed by hindi bots.
was that a haka emote at 12:50? Not often you see that in games.
The npc seriously calls you "Dragonborn Hero" hahahaha
The game looks like they made a decent game then crapped all over it
Call me crazy but I think the game LOOKS really good. It’s kinda a blend of like modded Skyrim and every MMO ever and I like it.
it looks like every *Korean* MMO ever
The only NFT/P2E MMO that actually works is MIR4 (at least from my experience)
Got me curious now, I’m gonna have to check it out haha.
Then it is actually possible to manual all day long ;) (alright i'll stop now ^^)
Thank you for the warning
HAHAH Bless with a positive review? That just a botnet giving it a high score, nobody will fall for their scam again
Most games now are ran and made through corporate models yeah you know what that means max profits least effort with generic bs
Wait, besides adding NFTs to the game they made it work with Terra? Let's just say that didn't went "to the Moon" 😆
Its brave of you to assume this was a mobile port 😂. Bless online started on PC, then after it crashed and burned they added a bunch of those mobile game features on the re release.
If this game had a slightly more competant publisher on release (the og version) I think it would atill be player. But the game was rushed.
this is what they should have redesigned movie sonic to look like!
The ui and npc interactions remind me of black desert online. Same people?
BUT there's a trillion different ways people can enjoy games, maybe I just haven't found the right idle game to win me over yet :D
crypto functionality combined with a game that plays itself?
sounds like a crypto miner to me (a program that secretly uses your PC to mine crypto for them without you knowing).
not saying this is what it is for certain... just how extremely sus that combo is
It’s definitely sus but I don’t think it technically is. It’s certainly not good though 🤣
This is like a bad copy of "black desert online". i recomend just compering the two and i think you will see the similarities. The interface is allmoste the same. Nice video
Thanks!
Yknow I’ve heard of BDO but not really familiar with it, now you got me curious haha.
btw, if you still want a 5yo's primer on crypto stuff, let this one know. It's not fond of the stuff, but it does know how it works reasonably well
Bless up. Anyhoo, mang I want my games to be epic and emersive just like my life hahaha
hey at least it's not an ai voiced video xD
does anyone know if there's a name for these types of graphics/art style from these korean-style mmos like black desert, hit 2, seven knights, bless, etc.
@@early-tv They really are. BIG SHAME. Who knows! Maybe they'll turn over a new leaf--or repeat the same thing again.
BLEC makes you sound like a klingon :)
Wish asian MMO devs would stop trying so hard to cut corners while making their game and just make a damn game.
"Console level graphics"
Every PC gamer: "Lol!"
valid
Bless: The cursed heretic
Not gonna lie, I came in with no knowledge of this game and thus expected this to be the heartwarming tale of a small but plucky little MMO with an equally small but passionate fanbase that came to its defense despite the middling quality.... but no, it's crypto shilling all the way down. :\ That's kinda disappointing.
But isn't that just how modern gaming is nowadays.
Ha, I felt the same way when I originally downloaded it knowing nothing about it. But! I do hear from the comments that the parent MMO Bless Unleashed is pretty okay.
@@early-tv I'm glad to hear at least one game in the IP is doing somewhat ok! Because it seems like what fanbase is there does seem to like it well enough when there isn't crypto involved.
