Hopefully we will get some quality new campaigns soon(tm) ... there is so much classes and races to try :) But nature themed staff making fireballs - really? :D
My only concern is if the quality will stand up to the rest of the game. I’m talking voices. Otherwise, it’ll all feel a little empty, ya know? I’ve seen some comments on here that some modders have some very talented VAs volunteering, and that’s a great START. BUT what about the OG companions? *Having them fully integrated into the new content and reacting and commenting like they normally would.* That’s the most important part. And that takes cutscenes, new animations, lip synch, AND most importantly, good writing that stays consistent with the rest of the game and doesn’t just turn into someone’s fanfiction. The characters should be approached with the SAME level of RESPECT they’ve already received from Larian’s excellent team that brought them to life. And of course the voices problem again. Getting the original VAs to do it would be amazing, but if they won’t (or can’t for legal reasons) then what? AI is its own mess that’s probably not a good idea. And I’m not overly thrilled about the idea of imitators, either. Would have to be a damn good imitation. Near flawless. Or else the immersion will just shatter, and we’re back to the empty feeling. Ah, I’m a little worried about this one. Skyrim had the benefit of being less . . . complicated. These mods have great promise. But I really hope the modders are thinking about all the details I’ve highlighted here.
Suggestion: Going through the game files and recycling unused or not often heard dialogue could help with adding in some voiced OG companion reaction moments. Nothing specific or iconic because that would be noticeable, but for example, Astarion has over 5,000 lines of recorded dialogue, I think? Bound to be something useable in there. And with some careful editing, you could take it a step further and splice different lines together to make something “new.” You would just have to add in the right pauses to make it sound natural so it didn’t SOUND spliced. Could work pretty well depending on what’s needed. Of course, it won’t help with everything, but it could be a good way to bridge the gap for some things.
What I desperately want is end game content you get so overpowered by the end of act 3 the final boss is kinda disappointing, more hella difficult content to flex ur aquired loot would be the best
Be Honest will console be able to have a chance for these as well? i know they is a issue between some of the mods not sure the actually reasoning but you seem educated well enough for me to ask? This is really cool to see and would give such longevity for us console players as well..
Unfortunately it’s highly unlikely at this stage. Simply due to these mods being created with the toolkit unlocked, which is essentially a cracked version of the mod toolkit, and therefore not officially supported by Larian. It’s not a definite no, but I’d be surprised to see these on console. Keeping everything crossed for you though!
I've never played a CRPG DLC or a custom campaign mod, so there's one thing I'm wondering about. Would these be meant for maxxed out level 12 characters? Would you make a new game and go straight into them? Would you have to reach a specific point in a vanilla playthrough and use that save file to play a custom campaign? I'd appreciate if you (or another commenter) could shed some light on this!
a mix, some would potentially be a continuation, others would be their own separate adventure meant for you to start fresh. it entirely depends on the mod's intentions and the modders desires for it's play. i'd expect both, but probably more of a focus on starting fresh characters for them if I had to guess.
i am curious because all the cut content in the base game, when some projects will work to add this back in. but i think this will start right after we know for certain there had been the real last patch which added stuff.
@@omegafish69 Yeah definitely something that would take a few years before it’s ready to be released. The lore potential is insane with all the ancient dragons that Elden Ring has. Would probably have to be an overhaul mod.

Not available right now, still in development. Either subscribe to the channel, or the channels I’ve linked below, or the BG3 modding discord to stay up to date!
I am just hoping someone gets really serious about a submod for Trials of Tav and really fleshes it out. It's so addictive and fun! Really makes me sad for the canceled turn based tactics Divinity game.
Can the moders create NPCs with new dialogue etc? Maybe using AI for the voices? I dont know much about modding. Like how similar would a modded area with questlines compade to the standard game?
with the voices it would be 10X better to just hire or have volunteers for voice work like sstraight up ai should never be the decision, there are millions of people that can and want to do voice work even for free it's insane AI voices do nothing b
Roleplaying with AI for 6 months or so, man i would kill for a ingame AI chat like talking to characters real time. It will be added to the game for sure but it would still take some months. There are quite good models already 7-11-22Bs which don't require a lot of resources to work and can be run along with the game. But feeding information into the model without confusing it is the real problem. There must be tons of convertion like adding a flag into every single action and feeding them with explanation into model. There aren't still any model which can look at raw game codes and figure out what is going on, but there might be one in a year or so as AI models are improving rapidly.
I would really love to see someone create an arena style mod. You start at level one and simply earn exp from each fight, choosing your opponents, earning gold to buy better gear or consumables. Could also work at a horde game mode as well... idk
Do you mean like Trials Of Tav? If you haven’t seen that one check it out! I also covered an upcoming zombies, round based mode coming soon, it’s in a previous video on my channel! 😊
Please provide a new discord link. I get "Invie Invalid - This invite may have expired or you might not have permission to join" I would like to take a good look at this community this all looks hugely exciting !!
very impressive ... but without voices I am not sure how much I can enjoy a campaign. The voices are such a key part of the BG3 experience. I know prior RPGs were almost entirely text and they were fun anyway, but that was fully isometric so you never actually saw the faces of the characters except in portraits. Here looking at a mute character face will be a little off-putting. But I will definitely give them a try. And if anyone can pull off the face animations and add voice talent, well then it will be well worth buying -- but sadly once they sell something WOTC will shut it down or charge enormous licensing fees.
I don’t play this, but wouldn’t it be best to treat this game like its own “engine” and keep releasing various Campaign DLCs? Like just adding in new separate story lines you could play?
Larian is privately owned. They could, and it would be profitable, but they can decide what they want to do. Sven said that their hearts weren't in an expansion, so they decided to do something else.
Very pretty and all, but if the npcs don't have voices, this will be quite soulless. I hope they take full advantage of AI. But they'll probably won't.
Hi,(Creator of the Underdark and Promenada Waukeen here). It is how it work in the map development- first you build a "skeleton" and only then you slowly adding a little details, of course rn its gonna look not in the best shape, Main game maps were created for months.
Most gamers play on console nowadays, since they have a cpu comparable to a decent stationary computer. With the ps3 and ps4 there were a huge difference between consoles and a pc, what they could handle.
PC gaming has seen its biggest growth ever over the last year or so, it’s a massive market and console technology will always be a couple generations behind unfortunately!
I think people are too euphoric. Do they really think wotc and hasbro will do nothing whiley they use a modding tool to create their own content freely without paying? There is a reason why larian staff denies any connection to mods, same like yt denies any connection to the videos uploaded. "We only provided the platform" or else wotc / hasbro would sue em. Im a 100% convinced that the mod authors will get CADs (cease and desist) letters, to remove all the content created with an "illegally modified tool" that is their property.
There is practically 0 chance of that happening. If it did, it would kill any good will people have towards wotc and would be horrendous publicity. Besides, they already got a return on their investment, so why would they go out of their way to ruin future potential success that comes through these mods? The only reason larian doesn't mention is it's not officially supported. Also I'm pretty sure they added these features on purpose, it would not have been this easy to get otherwise lol
@@lemin5508 they did add the mod manager and creator for fans to play around within the bonds of the bg3 campaign, yes. What they are heavily denying is that they made it easy for fans to disable the set boundaries of the mod creator which enables them to create entire stories on their own, with a free tool independent of the bg3 campaign. THAT is what is denied at every turn, because THAT can get them in very hot water with wotc and hasbro. i do see it coming, its widely known that the hasbro leads responsible for the dnd corner hate dnd itself with a passion. there where memo leaks etc. you can look it up. something so simple as a CAD on mods that go over the intended boundaries on something they have full copyrights / rights in any sense. you can bet they will take action to ensure people a) either pay more or b) cant use it because it is outside of wotc / hasbros cashflow and they dont profit from it. and you cant blame them its their right by law. heck they could even blame the law saying they are forced to take action because otherwise their ownership would get muddied down which brings more problems down the road (japan for example has laws that force companies to go after fan projects or else they get in trouble with the law themself)

Definitely waiting for those custom maps & campaigns. Can only replay the main game so many times before it gets boring as shit.
I just wish a mod did a full high quality conversion to 2024 rules
Forgive me for being noob, but how can i find these mods? Which filters should i use in the mod manager?
@@markdewit1342 these are still in development and not yet fully released, will let you know when 😊
Someone make strad for bulders gate. I’m not tech savvy but y’all can do it.
I NEED IT NOWWWW
Do you think any of thes campaign mods will come to console mod io?
Unfortunately it’s unlikely as they’re created in the unlocked version of the mod toolkit, which isn’t officially supported by Larian 😢
@@VeteranJoystick ahh well no issues I can easily get it on steam somepoint but ty for the updates
I’m so damn excited for all of these I can’t choose
@@alexandersmith6869 you and me both dude!
I want to see the DnD starter kits like Dragons Of Ice spire peak made real.
YES!
What I desperately want is end game content you get so overpowered by the end of act 3 the final boss is kinda disappointing, more hella difficult content to flex ur aquired loot would be the best
Ravenloft adventure
Be Honest will console be able to have a chance for these as well? i know they is a issue between some of the mods not sure the actually reasoning but you seem educated well enough for me to ask? This is really cool to see and would give such longevity for us console players as well..
Unfortunately it’s highly unlikely at this stage. Simply due to these mods being created with the toolkit unlocked, which is essentially a cracked version of the mod toolkit, and therefore not officially supported by Larian. It’s not a definite no, but I’d be surprised to see these on console. Keeping everything crossed for you though!
@@VeteranJoystick thanks getting back with me ! Appreciate the info!
@@__Infinity_Hearts__ Anytime!
Yeh it really depends on how the creators build it, will be a combination of everything above 😊
i am curious because all the cut content in the base game, when some projects will work to add this back in. but i think this will start right after we know for certain there had been the real last patch which added stuff.
Yeh that work is underway! The original tutorial has been added back in already. More to come!
I want to see the Ravenloft campaign setting
that would be awesome!
That act2 expansion sounds really interesting! Can't find any more info for it though...link anyone?
It’s still very early in development. Head to the BG3 modding discord for updates 😊
I would actually pay for someone to bring the world of Elden Ring into BG3. Now THAT would be a statement
I don't doubt that could happen within a few years
For some reason I think modders will make Los Santos from GTA San Andreas first lul
@@mephilaz_3881 Wonder If vehicles would be possible
@@omegafish69 Yeah definitely something that would take a few years before it’s ready to be released. The lore potential is insane with all the ancient dragons that Elden Ring has. Would probably have to be an overhaul mod.
I'd love to elden ring combat in the bg3 world
I'm waiting for WOTC to start smashing the modding community with a lawyer hammer
I love all of these projects, but i wonder if someone will ever try to do an Avernus expantion
Just to kick Mizora's and Zariel's butt
Would love that!
Hi is this mod coming on console or just PC?
Likely just PC, at least initially
Just as a heads up, that modding discord link is dead
Hmm, seems like a genius idea! I just wonder... BG3 is succesful mostly bcs of its voice acting and genius narrator. Without, it risk being dull despite all the work put in there. Does anybody know if it will be voiced?
@@demaciaguy1580 all fully voiced. There’s hundreds of people working on these projects 😊
I’m just so depressed that I’ll never see these coming to PS5 😢
I am a bit confused. Are these mods playable right now? and if not when will they be? how can we be notified?
Not available right now, still in development. Either subscribe to the channel, or the channels I’ve linked below, or the BG3 modding discord to stay up to date!
@@VeteranJoystick What's the name of the BG3 modding group on Discord? Thnx
I am just hoping someone gets really serious about a submod for Trials of Tav and really fleshes it out. It's so addictive and fun! Really makes me sad for the canceled turn based tactics Divinity game.
KOTOR 3 . Now there's a challenge.
Can the moders create NPCs with new dialogue etc? Maybe using AI for the voices?
I dont know much about modding.
Like how similar would a modded area with questlines compade to the standard game?
Yep. All that and more! New NPC’s, new dialogue, animations, VFX, level design, literally anything Larian could do modders can now do!
@@VeteranJoystick
Wow that's exciting!!
@@VeteranJoystickThis game is still gonna be relevant 10 years from now.
@@VeteranJoystick It won't have the incredible performances from the actors!
with the voices it would be 10X better to just hire or have volunteers for voice work

AI voices do nothing b
A rude "Bard"-tender, huh?! 😜
I see what you did there, and I LIKE IT 😂
What do you think the odds are for these types of mods to come to consoles?
Unfortunately not very likely as these probably need their own shaders and that’s not allowed on console
@@evangardner9222 yeah I’ve been hearing about that. Do you know what custom shaders are? Lol is it like their own color scheme and such??
Roleplaying with AI for 6 months or so, man i would kill for a ingame AI chat like talking to characters real time. It will be added to the game for sure but it would still take some months. There are quite good models already 7-11-22Bs which don't require a lot of resources to work and can be run along with the game. But feeding information into the model without confusing it is the real problem. There must be tons of convertion like adding a flag into every single action and feeding them with explanation into model. There aren't still any model which can look at raw game codes and figure out what is going on, but there might be one in a year or so as AI models are improving rapidly.
R any of these coming to console
Unfortunately it’s unlikely as they’re created in the unlocked version of the mod toolkit, which isn’t officially supported by Larian 😢
How long do you think until someone adds the entirety of Skyrim?
12 months at this rate!
we definitely need more, by the time your character works, the game us over
Pls tell me he is called Bardtender.
Plz create Dragonlance mod!!
I’m willing to pay someone 500$ if you can manage to port Kotor 1 into BG3. I NEEEEEED IT

Can someone please port a goblin playable character mod to the Playstation 5
So nothing ready to play yet looks like.... ... .. .
Does it have a name
Not currently. All still a work in progress
Every other game I own watching me start a new character in BG3: 🥲
Haha I can relate
Legit.😂
very impressive ... but without voices I am not sure how much I can enjoy a campaign.
Hello,we have a lot of talented VAs that working in the industry. Face animations are gonna be tricky, but i believe we already found the solution.
@ Glad to hear that! I very much hope WOTC does not try to get involved.
@@doloresabernathy9809 That's been too much time,i believe, and hope its not gonna to happen.
I don’t play this, but wouldn’t it be best to treat this game like its own “engine” and keep releasing various Campaign DLCs? Like just adding in new separate story lines you could play?
Larian is privately owned. They could, and it would be profitable, but they can decide what they want to do.
Sven said that their hearts weren't in an expansion, so they decided to do something else.
this all looks super boring. might be a good idea to let things mature to the point that the hubs look on par with anything in base game
These are all still early WIP, a long way off release
They need to place more props.
Why don't you go build it then? Oh wait, you can't.
Give it time. There’s are all still WIP
Very pretty and all, but if the npcs don't have voices, this will be quite soulless. I hope they take full advantage of AI. But they'll probably won't.
Hi,we dont need AI, we have enough of our own talented VAs, so its just irrelevant.
Sorry these look so unnatural and clearly need more time in the oven. The environments in the main game feel way more immersive
@@TheRyndiculous Which is why they’re all WIP and not released yet…
Hi,(Creator of the Underdark and Promenada Waukeen here). It is how it work in the map development- first you build a "skeleton" and only then you slowly adding a little details, of course rn its gonna look not in the best shape, Main game maps were created for months.
Most gamers play on console nowadays, since they have a cpu comparable to a decent stationary computer. With the ps3 and ps4 there were a huge difference between consoles and a pc, what they could handle.
lmfao
PC gaming has seen its biggest growth ever over the last year or so, it’s a massive market and console technology will always be a couple generations behind unfortunately!
Let's all move on to Dragon Age Veilguard now. It'll be here on the 31st.
@@msguccidiamonds Lol. Why don’t you just let people enjoy what they enjoy?

how about no, DA looks so mid. The people who were responsible for Biowares Golden Age are long gone.
