This definitely rates in the Top 5 of Greatest Bedlam Games of all Time. You got Running-backs from both teams going over 200 yards rushing. Switzer oddly knelling most of the game and getting caught on camera smoking numerous times. Prairie Wind! A Controversial call. Lead changes. And it all comes down to a Final Play. Memorable!!! Thanks for sharing F.F.
The penalty against OSU with about 51 seconds to go is one of the worst calls I've seen in my 47 years. I've read the statements made by OSU's Limbrick and OU's Dillon about the call, and it was bogus in that moment of that game. I'm a Nebraska fan and take no side here. This was such a great game and that was a terrible call by one human being. The group of refs needed to huddle and determine that they were going to pick that one up. But didn't. Just like the holding call against the Eagles DB near the end of last weeks Super Bowl.
It sure looked like Gaddis was the best running back on the field that day.
Barry Sanders performance in the bedlam Rivalry series vs Oklahoma plus analyst Lee Corso before College GameDay
Mike Gaddis died so young..
That spin move by Barry Sanders was filthy at 36:18
58:14 you can see one of my Sooners tackle air against Barry

How different is the Gibbs tenure with a healthy Mike Gaddis? Stud deluxe, and may he rest in peace.
The 89 Texas game was as Switzer said like out of the twilight zone. Gaddis going down untouched and Texas returning a blocked field for a touchdown.
Whatever happened to that player from OSU, Barry Sanders, I wonder if he went on to do great things in football. HUmm....
I understand he was "pretty good".

Some folks just don't appreciate dirty Limbricks.
totally agree it was a horrible call the ou player was grabbing osu as they were going out of bounds
another game osu should have won against gooners
