My Toyota dealership provided all of the tire repair tools and patches including an air reamer with carbide bit, rubber cement, and tire liner. I would be broke with the amount of tires my shop patched if I had to pay out of pocket LOL. Tires are the worst.
Really good stuff. Personally I would recommend 1/2 lug nut sockets over regular impact sockets. Chicago Pneumatic, Milwaukee, and Vim make really good sets
ingersoll rand actually makes some models of the matco 1/2 air impacts. matco just gives it a paint job w/ their logo on it and doubles the price. aside from a few patents, they do this with many if not all of their products. that being said, the black and red matco ratchets do look cool as hell 😅
Yeah I know Matco is a huge rebrand company. Same with some Cornwell guns. Their part numbers are actually IR part numbers and they just put Cornwell stickers lol. Have you seen the purple with the black chrome?
@@BustedKnucklesGarage1 i didnt even know they made purple tbh, but the black chrome matco ratchets are truly a sight to behold. also gotta say mad respect for the content you post. very helpful advice here
Yo bro i was wondering, about the 3/8ths gun, i would like to use it as a huge time saver but im worried impact wrenches are so powerful if i use it for general servicing i can strip some bolts, so im not sure if i have to use a cordless ratchet instead, what you think
Also thread your bolts at least 3-4 threads before using air or electric and I think you’ll be fine. For general service though esp lightly torques bolts and such id probably just get my go to electric 3/8th gun
😂 He has $2k worth of tools, and you're making it sound like he spent 100k. Brand new lube techs start at 25 per hour. His tools literally cost 3% of his first years income as a tech. Trust me, he'll get a return on his investment.
toyota tech here, everything is pretty spot on but i would recommend a tire patch kit, idk if all shop’s patch tires but i would say it comes in handy

Ford tech here. Can confirm ALL these are essentials for us as well. EMPHASIS on the electric tool for splash shields.
Yeah. I agree. Big EMPHASIS for the electric tool. If you don’t have one, you’ll be the slowest one for cranking out cars for sure

Same essentials for Acura/Honda. Great video!
Nice. And thank you. Glad you liked the video!
Fantastic content 👌 👏 👍
Thank you! I hope you enjoyed it
Great job with the vid! I think you are on the right track with your organization and enthusiasm!
Great info! What tool cart are you using?
Appreciate it! I’m using a harbor freight 5 drawer tool cart
@@BustedKnucklesGarage1 Thanks, but the cart in the video does not have any drawers. I like the fact it's just a simple tool tray on wheels.
@johncampbell5742 oh that one my bad. That’s a blue point model work tray. I’ll see if I can find part number. I’ve had it now for about 3 years
@@BustedKnucklesGarage1 Thanks, I found it! Blue-Point part number BLPUHSTPC
Love the video and looking forward to more.
I appreciate that! I will be posting my next video in the next day or two!

It takes more and bigger tools when you're a heavy truck mechanic!
Oh yeah I bet it does

8, 10, 12, 14, 17, and 19mm is part of what is referred to as JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard).
I could tell you don’t need all snap on lol
I agree. I choose to have snap on but you can definitely get the same job done with any other brand
God you've already got sucked into snap-on and overpaying for those tools.
😂 the snap on guy seen him coming. No Vaseline!
