Yeah because I’m a 36 year old mother of two 4&6 about to turn 5&7 and I wish I would have had kids and married in my 20s. Biologically speaking your early 20s is the best time for your body to produce a baby and i would have more energy to keep up with my kids it’s forces you to mature and brings new perspectives that would have made me a better human to experience this sooner it’s given me a new perspective. And if I was married at a younger age in a stable situation that would helped me financially I’d have more value with a steady support system I’d be able to have and make more $ with a steady committed partnership.

its not that people arent as developed nowadays, people just want different things now, marriage at 18 and kids a year or two later would get in the way of finishing higher education and/or their career, things are also more expensive nowadays so wanting a stable career (which more often than not takes more time to build now) is going to in the end help with raising a child, average age for women having a child is 23 in 2023 so thats after college so it makes sense
