I didn't know initially, but with a little research I found out there were about a dozen different kinds, and they all bloom around her birthday. i contacted a floral shop and asked for 2 of each, they ranged in price from 2-15 bucks a piece. The bouquet was about $200 total. when presented to my ex, I got "oh, these are my favorite flowers, but what are all the other ones?" I explained the process, all the research I did, how much it cost etc. She responds "you should have just bought the ones I like" even though she had no clue there were so many kinds. I broke up with her on the spot.

My brother moved to a new city for his new wife, paid for everything, got a new apartment, furnished all of it himself etc. In the first 2 weeks she went into his phone behind his back, read all his messages and then started making up lies about his family, demanding that he puts barriers between us. Don’t give flowers on the first date or even on the first few dates. Trust me, it’s a strong gesture and give it when you know for certain she likes you and you’ve been going on dates for a couple of months or so. Yes you are on a date but just be her friend, don’t supplicate to her and never put a girl on a pedestal. Tease, banter, flirt, and don’t be afraid to break the touch barrier (as long as she is comfortable with it) and disagree on certain things if you don’t hold the same opinion, don’t be a YES Man and screen her if she is the right girl for you. Do less of the talking, do like 20% and her 80% of the talking. Ask her questions and get to know her, don’t talk too much and tell her so much about you, keep the mystery for the next dates.

Doing little things everyday for eachother is how you built trust and intimacy. If you feel like it’s never enough, either you are doing things that don’t mean anything to her(so you’re not paying attention to what she likes and values) or you are with someone who finds it difficult to show gratitude or feel gratitude(should be addressed with therapy or y’all need to break up). Gratitude can be learned but there has to be effort from both sides.

Brad is right. A LONG time ago I had a custom bouquet of oriental lilies put together for an ex who said her favorite flowers are oriental lilies. I didn't know initially, but with a little research I found out there were about a dozen different kinds, and they all bloom around her birthday. i contacted a floral shop and asked for 2 of each, they ranged in price from 2-15 bucks a piece. The bouquet was about $200 total. when presented to my ex, I got "oh, these are my favorite flowers, but what are all the other ones?" I explained the process, all the research I did, how much it cost etc. She responds "you should have just bought the ones I like" even though she had no clue there were so many kinds. I broke up with her on the spot.

My brother moved to a new city for his new wife, paid for everything, got a new apartment, furnished all of it himself etc. In the first 2 weeks she went into his phone behind his back, read all his messages and then started making up lies about his family, demanding that he puts barriers between us. Twisted woman, obsessed with control, a lot are like her. Unfortunately he is way too weak to stand up for himself so she now controls his life.
