Fun Fact: Jack Jack's name is a pun for the saying "Jack of all trades." which means someone who can do different things. That's why he has so many powers.
I personally blame the father himself for refusing to go in the panic room. He was too prideful/stubborn and took a massive risk with no visible payoff (ironic for a great businessman). He also may have been too stupid to not have installed a similar phone IN the panic room (not confirmed but possible).
Agreed, unless the super heroes had lightning speed there would be no way they could reach him on time (especially when you consider the heroes could be asleep back home and out of costume doing stuff in their daily lives). The father relied on them too much.
There were some parts w Edna that was edited out of the final movie, but was put together to a small short film called: Auntie Edna. Its the best part in my opinion.
Yeah they kinda fucked up writing the villain. She had a great character and personality, but her motivations and reasoning dont make sense. She kickstarted a movement to help Superheroes, to make superheroes look bad, to get them permanently illegal, when they already where? If she had simply done nothing, superheroes would have remained illegal anyway.
@@vedji1857 tbf there was already a sentiment of making heroes legal again. It is hard to say how successful that would've been without Evelyn's influence but maybe it was inevitable anyway. Not to mention her brother was actually on board with it.
@@vedji1857 see I disagree on her motivation and reasoning not making sense. People relied too much on superheroes which got her father killed. Not only did it cause her to lose someone she cared about but she had a point about superheroes making people “weak”.
That thing Bob was watching in that one scene was the opening to "The Outer Limits" which adds to my head canon that this movie and the previous one take place in the 1970s.
I saw in a film theory video that, when Bob is reading the newspaper in the first movie, the year was 1962 So I don’t think these movies take place in the 70s
I knew it was Evelyn from the minute they said her name I caught onto their clever wordplay almost immediately Evelyn Dever: evil endeavor they thought they were slick
I have a theory: Winston said his father was gunned down by robbers when they invaded his house and caught him attempting to call supers for help. There was no response because superheroes were deemed illegal. Well, this became an advantage for Syndrome. Perhaps the supers were already answering to Syndrome’s anonymous calls and thus couldn’t help even if they wanted to.
The animators said that at one point, they realized they had to redo some of the scenes with Helen and Evelyn, because they were coming across TOO queer. And Bud Luckey was a long-time Pixar (and before that, Sesame Street) animator and voice actor. He did the voice of Rick Dicker in the first movie, and in the short film Boundin', he was the jackalope.
I guessed that Evelyn was evil by her literal entrance. Only because it reminded me of the evil sheep's entrance in zootopia so much I was like "This is gonna be another wolf in sheeps clothing deal isn't it?" And then she had that argument with Winston in the beginning and I was like "Yeah, okay, she's the twist villain." Didn't get her name pun till someone told me after tho lol
A worthy sequel to the 2004 Pixar hit. The Parr Family has their share of situations. Bob is a bored stay-at-home dad, Helen gets her time to shine, Jack-Jack is still comprehending his new powers, Dash is Dash, but Violet? She was such a MOOD. 😆
Man, I wish they would of given this movie a rewrite. I would of personally loved for them to have a timeskip alowing for it to be in a 70s/80s time period.
The theory on how the Incredibles have their powers is base on their personalities. Helen as the mother she has to "stretch" herself thin to take care of everyone. Bob as the father protects the family hence his super strength. Violet is shy and defensive at times which makes since she has Invisibility and forcefield powers. Dash being impatient has super speed, as for Jack-Jack since he is still a baby he hasn't developed a solid personality yet so that's why he jumps from power to power which seems to be based on how he is feeling at the moment
@freerobux49 He is still a baby so his personality hasn't fully developed yet that's why he has so many powers. Or it could be that his personality is that he can adapt to different situations which can explain the different powers he has too

Things aren't going well in the United States, and I like it when people aren't afraid to discuss it with honesty. Of course, I think Bob and Helen shouldn't have argued in front of their kids like that. They seem to do this all the time, even in the first movie--and no matter how "right" we want to seem, it's not worth stressing the kids out over. But, it's a fine line between a restrained debate, and a screaming match--and even the most soft-spoken, mature people can snap when their buttons are pushed. This whole family is full of hot heads, so they didn't stand a chance. On an unrelated note, I hope that if there's a second sequel, there can be a time skip a few years down the line! I get a little bored when things stagnate for awhile--especially in longterm television shows. Plus, a lot is definitely about to change now that Supers are legal again in that universe. I'd love to see how it plays out, with Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack becoming proper Supers themselves as young adults. Or better yet, maybe we can even get a Frozone movie all to himself. He is so cool, but under-utilized. Plus, the first time we had a black man as a main character in a Disney-Pixar movie was with "Soul" back in 2020. But even then, he was a blue blob throughout most of the film--so that was kind of cheat-y. Still, Disney-Pixar is on a roll these last couple of years with increasingly diverse films. Looking forward to more!
Alot of people don't seem happy with how Bob was handled‚ but I think it makes sense. He missed the super life and wanted to get back into it and open the door for his children to have that chance as well. Helen didn't want to risk the life of a super anymore and believed that they should be patient and wait for civilians and politics to work it out the right way which is understandable‚ but then she is the one handed the first chance to go into the field and not Bob? I get why he must've felt some jealousy since she didn't seem interested at all‚ but now is leading the rise for supers to be legalized. Also she seemed to doubt his chances at being able to handle their own kids for a while and it's a bit annoying. True he wasn't around alot and dealt with the kids often‚ but that's because he got stuck in some horrible job where he definitely would've quit if not for his wife and kids needing him to make a living wage. She succeeds at being a hero and practically strokes her own ego over a phone call with him about the train‚ while he is just barely figuring out how to handle the kids properly now. Alot also say how Bob was "toxic" for not wanting Helen to be the first super to return to the scene‚ but it's more like he was just upset that his wife who I must state literally said she wasn't really interested and gets to be the face of returning supers‚ while he has to wait once more despite being the one most excited and ready to be back out there. It's like almost reaching your dream and being smacked back down by someone else who said "meh I'll give it a shot" I don't think Bob is hating Helen for her success or anything‚ but rather hates the fact that she is shouting and yelling in excitement when earlier she showed very little care for returning to the life of a super. True she may of acted that way to make sure the kids didn't try and break the law to be supers but at least be honest with Bob and don't act like it's not a big deal to you when really she cares just as much as Bob. Again I'm only saying this because alot of people are saying Bob was just an awful husband in this movie and I thought that was just way over the line given all that happens. Also can we take into account how Helen knows how Bob felt when Winston brought up the damage control and such earlier and yet she is shouting "No casualties!" As if she wasn't there to understand that saying such a thing would really get under bob's skin? I swear didn't mean to rant but I just didn't like how people acted like Bob was some unsupportive asshole who hates his wife. He is still human and has his own pet peeves and emotions so to expect him to be 100% happy with the sudden dynamic change in their life isn't realistic
Why in this version of the movie the car remote summon was changed to a house symbol and when dash ask about the car following the boat I just show symbols
Ok two things, 1. I honestly didn't see the Evelyn's the screenslaver until Helen pointed out the monitor thing. And then BAM! You know I get where she was coming from. I mean personally I think that their father was foolish to put the direct lines to Supers just out in the living room where he was exposed. If I were him, I would have had them in the safe room. Then when the break in happened, taken my husband and me in there and call the supers. That way, even if they don't answer, we're safe in there until the robbers take what they want and go away. And I think Void is just a huge fan girl of Elastigirl. I would get the same way for some actors and actresses I love. And 2. If you love these kind of movies. I would recommend you watch the newly released movie the Bad Guys. I think it's one you would really enjoy if you wanted to watch it. Just as a movie suggestion and a fan of your reaction videos.

@@ananslator3655 i mean its obvious hes not going to react to some old movies because we ALL seen it. Esp he also reacted to Toys story 4

It defines who I am what someone on tv sed it
45:05 to 45:15 uh there actually is a lego incredible video game that you should definitely play and make a videos of cause apparently the video game starts with lego incredible 2 and in the hub world after you get enough incredibricks and complete the crime waves you can build Pixar builds to collect characters from other Pixar movies the last two unlock when you complete all levels but the other 10 are scattered across new urbum and municiberg you can unlock Luigi from ratatouille, lightning McQueen from cars , sully from monsters ink , woody from toy story, Russell from up, Bing bong from inside out, Miguel from coco, Mirada from brave, dory from finding Nemo, flik from a bug's life, spot from the good dinosaur, and Wall e

"Did you catch tha bad guy?"
"You cops neither. Did you stoped the cars at the bridge, save the train, and stoped the drill? Officer?"
En fin la hipocresía
When Jack Jack was a Giant baby it reminded me of the movie:
Honey, I blew up the kid
Great movie. Great continuation.

Your face in the thumbnails perfectly describes my opinions on this movie. Most disappointing and redundant film Pixar has ever made.
I'm still waiting for adventure time re-upload
@MaySawa where
@MaySawa I don't see anything with him reaction to the episode
Goku solos.
Honestly, I feel this movie is super overhated.
This is the first time I hear this original movie and I really don't like Helen's voice. Sounds like an old lady with front teeth missing.
I will say I never had a single thought, I didn't have any suspicious thoughts about Winston OR Evelyn! not even a millisecond before the reveal so when Evelyn slapped the goggles on that fast it was a HUMUNGOUS JUMP SCARE! I got scared so much I had to pee! It was like...li...uh...I can't even!

Jordan and Chuluun Brow Reading this made me feel better. XD I was an adult by the time I saw this movie, and I STILL wasn't expecting it. I really liked her, too!
@@KindredKeepsake Yeah, she has a mixture of "gothic" "tomboyish" "introvert" "dark queen" or "stygian" feeling about her it seemed more just personality, so I never suspected her. I saw that personality with Princess Luna from My Little Pony: FiM, Rani and Chuluun from The Lion Guard, and Sirius Black from Harry Potter. All (except Chuluun) are good characters, so I had no reason to suspect Evelyn...But then you see her name...Evelyn Devor...Evil Endeavor
@@scootaloofromponyville1708 I also loved her messy short hair and dark, tired looking eyes. And her sarcastic and cynical personality. So was so freaking cool and mature, too. The night to her brother's day. And my girl could drink, too! XD A pretty ballsy move for Pixar!
