- Reviewing Every FNAF Final Nights Game in the Series…
Final Nights is a series of FNAF fan games I've been suggested to play for a while now. Today, i dive deep into the 4 main entry's in the series to see if these games really live up to their hype.

Game 2 choices might be like will accepting his sins instead of lieing to himself of what happened so picking spring boni and killing the kid giving you a good ending because thats what happened not what he wanted to happen
Very cool 😎
PlainTrace will you do a video on playtime with percy this year or next year? or ever....
i like fortnite, its night time i mean 5 o clock thats basically night time
you mean x?
I like how William Afton in this series just sounds like a 15 year old bandkid compared to the British evil mastermind he is in the canon
It’s honestly a very funny contrast - and I think that mixed with the night 2 cut scene dialogue makes it all the funnier
When the puppet shows up and he says "no… it cannot be!" It’s soooo bad I wanted to turn off the video and just like think for a second
Since when is he British?
@@megaaggron9778 Since SL! The opening lines in Sister Location include a British man, who is revealed to be Afton.
@@zenith613 how do you know he’s afton?
That moment where the Puppet killed you in your bed, that actually happens with every animatronic if you let them in without being in the spots they come from
Excluding the hallway ones and mangle I think.

To me, the Final Nights 3 animatronics were modeled with the game’s environment in mind. They look pretty goofy in full light, but in the dark shadows of the actual gameplay they look incredibly obscured, and to the point where the jumpscare animations just make you think “WHAT IS IT EVEN DOING TO ME”.
Honestly, they disturb me. Also, the game had a task based system before tealerland, playtime with percy and pizzeria simulator so it gotta have bonus points for that.
When it comes to your comment on Reaper Spring Bonnie and the lack of a Nightmare Spring Bonnie in FNAF 4, I’ve always thought of it as the Crying Child knowing his dad often wore the Spring Bonnie suit, and as such would view it as less, if at all, of a monster, as compared to Fred-bear and the other four.
agree
that makes so much sens and is so obvius i feel emberence not thinking about this sooner
I think it's just because the nightmares are based off the fredbear and friends tv show, and springbonnie is noticeably missing from it
True
I’ve always thought of it as Crying Child doesn’t view Springbonnie as bad because Fredbear was the one who bit him, so crying child views Springbonnie as nicer, and maybe even friendly!
I think Shadow Bonnie is actually Elizabeth, and that she's the one we control during the cutscenes with William, judging by the Pink Bed at the start of some of them.
It's just a theory, but for me it kind of makes sense.
And as for the Fredbear plush, in Final Nights 3 she refers to the crying child as "sweetie", so it's most likely William's Wife.
It does actually say Shadow Bonnie is what remains of your sister in the museum
@@TheChaoCrew Did he just not read them?
@@Based_Gigachad_001 Yep.
@@TheChaoCrew It's been so much since I saw anything about the games that I honestly forgot a lot of the details about the museums
the fact that they were able to get 8-bitryan and dawko in final nights 3 must have been a giant acheivment
Looked it up... Razzbowski is in it too
This was an excellent video and a trip down memory lane for sure!
I can't believe you found some pretty rare easter eggs like locking yourself in the backstage room in FN1.
I'm very nostalgic for the Final Nights series and it warms my heart to see many others are nostalgic for it also.
Yo JeliLiam!
I hope that the afton built project eventually gets uncanceled even if your not the 1 who picks it up i blame theft king for leaving the nda breaking stuff you said in
Hey jeliLiam
Lol what the heck was up with fn4 xD
It was a joy to watch because we can see your improvement over time so clearly. You came such a long way!!
Fun fact, the whole "the phone call is the character you play" thing HAS been done before, in The Joy Of Creation. In the office level, where you are stuck in a time loop, the phone call is from the character you play as leaving notes for his future self
well that is true it is in tjoc (i had the same thought) final nights 2 actually came out the year prior to storymodes release
Time loop?

28:20 idk, I wouldn't call the "William doesn't kill anybody and realizes he needs help" ending a bad ending.
Lol that's what i tought
It was basically "Therapy" ending
18:10 yes perfectly safe eh
Theory: Maybe the reason they call it a "bad ending" is because of how limited the content is? Yes, morally speaking, William not killing any children is the objectively correct decision, but would that be a "good" story? As disgusting and tragic as it is, and regardless of your interpretation of the series, FNaF as we know it would be fundamentally impossible without the terrible events to set the story in motion. If anything, the "Bad Ending" adds a layer of characterization to what kind of William is in this narrative that would otherwise not be accessible. Furthermore, the decision to stop the murders that have sent the story in motion would retroactively affect the timeline you spend the last hours or so of your life playing through. So... yeah!
TLDR: It may be morally "good", but story-wise/experience-wise it is a "bad" ending.
@@elfietheespeon9462 not that deep, but thank you for your explanation
It has only been around a month, but waiting for a new PlainTrace video feels like ages.
literally! can't wait every time
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
True.
You can’t rush good content!

somebody has probably already mentioned this, but about the strange selection of reaper animatronics in final nights 3, they actually all reference the secret fnaf 3 minigames, reaper puppet represents happiest day, mangle is mangles quest, balloon boy is bb's air adventure, etc etc etc, but i think reaper spring bonnie doesn't represent stage 01 as golden freddy already fills that role, i think he's a reference to springtrap in a way
They also to me look like melted plastic parts
springbonnie could be representive of the final "purple guy" minigame (where he dies)
It’s crazy how close Final Nights got to several plot points of the FNAF movie.
Its honestly cool how the creator tried to help even if the methods didnt work. Its cool that he atleast tried!
Right the whole fnaf ending during final nights 3 is actually Elizabeth, to all those who got there lucky, the exploration parts was from Elizabeth’s perspective. Until the last night where it’s the crying child perspective. So basically William tried to save his own daughter but died to Baby falling on her. Then William proceeded to put her in Springbonnie suit (at least the old version anyway because it looks like fredbear but with big springbonnie head) and that’s what happened at the end. The crying child once again lose his head to a different big animatronic which it was his sister possessing it. Then he became the brother puppet, and the way to tell it was the bite mark it left behind. This lore is hard to keep track but if you’re lucky. Then you know the story, a different story from what the creator has told.
Ooooooooo now I never noticed that. Thanks for the lore key!
That changes everything.
WAIT.....IF THE SHADOW BONNE IS AFTONS DAUGHTER.....OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
The beginning cutscene of final nights four has massive matpat energy, "iTlL CeMeNt Me As ThE MaN wHo SoLvEd FnAf'
I think the "her" inside the Fredbear Plushie is Crying Child's mom.
This based on what it says in Final Nights 3 and her weird dissapearance

If you head into the Extras, it literally tells you who's who. Shadow Bonnie is your sister, stuffed twice, now a vengeful spirit, still can't spell her name.
The message in the hospital probably refers to the Fredbear and Chica
The plushie is the mom, C.C. is the Brother
Also, the early release of Final Nights 3 there was no curtain on the door until it was updated, so you literally had to walk out the door and confront the reaper puppet up close!
To put that realistically, you wouldve been straight up dead on the spot
This series is fascinating to me as kind of a time capsule of old FNAF theories and alternative interpretations floating around at the time. In retrospect, it's funny how reactive FN3 and FN4 are, incorporating the new stuff at the time of their release, like Circus Baby and Henry, but obviously having to completely rewrite their purpose in the story because Michael was killed off in FN1 and Charlotte doesn't exist. It's kind of like what FNAF would look like if Scott was ACTUALLY haphazardly retconning things all the time like people think he does.
And thus, we got Great Value Mike and Great Value Charlie in FN4 lmao. Okay, that's not totally fair, but it does feel like a missed opportunity. Still a good ending, though. Funny enough, the FNAF VHS versions of Mike and Charlie are basically Max Donovan and Puppet Master, though PM is a bit more morally dubious, I suppose.
If you don’t think Scott retcons things you’re out of your mind
@@offbranddorito9668 Of course he has in the ten years this series has existed. But if you think he retcons things after every new theory like some people do, you're smoking some good shit.
I downloaded the high quality version of Final Nights 4 to see if I could sus out why it won't start, and lo and behold it ran without any issue. However, knowing that I'm a developer myself with lots of dev tools pre-installed, there's a good chance I just happen to have all of the dependencies already on my machine. I'd hazard that's what's causing it to fail on so many machines except his own. (And mine)
Beating the prologue in FN1 is really easy, if your light doesnt work just press the direction your looking at again (for example if your looking left and your light doesnt work press A again and your light should work) and dont wait until you turn back to looking at the TV just press the button as soon as you realize the flashlight isnt working and it should work after that
I like how the depiction of the springlock failure is accurate, he can't scream because his neck is pierced (at least from what i know).
The Shadow Bonnie is the soul of this universes Elizabeth, who after the Baby incident, William stuffed her body inside Springbonnie, which caused her to Become Shadow bonnie, not to mention that Mike became Shadow Freddy after the Fredbear bite in FN1 and also in FN1 it's not Springtrap, it's Springbonnie (a different one than the one Elizabeth was stuffed into, there are 4 Fredbears and Springbonnies in this universe), since William only got Springlocked in FN2, which takes place after FN1.
...what?
so basically, the first 2 animatronics we see are gen 1. gen1 fredbear was the one who caused the bite. the gen2 springbonnie which was at the backstage that william used to kill those kids was the one he was springlocked in. its the only suit that was in the FN2 ending too. the gen1 springbonnie probably couldnt be worn
Almost, it was more like this:
Gen 1: The Prototype Springfreddy and Springbonnie we see in FN4 - They killed Henry and did nothing else.
Gen 2: The Fredbear and Springbonnie we also see in FN4 - Henry gets springlocked inside that Fredbear and William stuffs this universe's Elizabeth in that Springbonnie.
Gen 3: The Springfreddy and Springbonnie in that backroom in the flashbacks of FN2- That Springfreddy probably caused a springlock failure in the past and that Springbonnie is the one who William used to kill the childrem and became Springtrap.
Gen 4: The Fredbear and Springbonnie we see on stage in the flash backs of FN2 - That Fredbear caused the bite and both later became possessed by the 2 kids William killed in the flashbacks of FN2, then they appear in FN1 as the main enemies in the Fredbear and Friend's location part, Fredbear bit Mike (who became Shadow Freddy in this universe), and they also appear in their Shadow form in Night 5 of FN2 (Shadow Fredbear and Shadow Springbonnie), then after that they are never seen again.
Hope that clears things up.
Shadow Bonnie is the Final Nights version of Elizabeth (after she was stuffed into spring bonnie), working with Mrs. Afton (Fredbear plush) to get you to join them.
In 3rd part you were wondering about William being called Dave.
If I remember correctly, it was one of the names (alongside Vincent) that the community settled on calling purple guy before the name reveal.
Dave is also a fake name used by William to hide his identity in The Silver Eyes.
No, "Dave Miller" is the fake name that William uses during The Silver Eyes.
Oh god, i remember vincent
No, "Dave" comes from "Dave Miller", the fake name William uses during The Silver Eyes novel.

I'm personally so nostlagic for this series, never once played them for myself but I've watched at least 5 lets plays on all the games. This series is as good as Candys and popgoes, sad it doesn't get as much attention today though

Fnaf 4 came out in 2015, so Fredbear's family diner was already mentioned in a previous game, and it'll be shown later in this game. Everyone knew Fnaf 4 takes place before every other game in the franchise thus far, and Freddy's opening after Fredbear's closed was the most prevalent theory at the time, so, in my opinion, it makes more sense for this cutscene to probably take place in Fredbear's, not Freddy's.
I know this video is kinda old and somebody’s probably beat me to it, but the writing on the hospital wall in Final Nights 4 means: “First there were five of us,” Puppet, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy “then we met the two of them,” Cassidy and the Crying Child “after those two there were six of us.” Puppet, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Golden Freddy. (Cassidy and the Crying Child both occupy Golden Freddy.)

Final nights 4’s version of Fredbear’s family dinner is my favorite
a theory for the shadow spring bonnie in the true ending is that it could be elizabeth, considering that after she is crushed by circus baby in the previous cutscene she is dragged into the spring bonnie suit.
the fredbear plush could also be william's wife if taking the dialogue into consideration. it using terms such as 'sweetie' and 'it is i' as if the crying child should recognize her, as well as generally seeming to act as a guide for the crying child are very big indicators.
as for the strange selection of animatronics in final nights 3, each chosen animatronic has their own respective minigame in the real fnaf 3 game, which could be why the creator chose to use them.
in general final nights can be a really confusing series but piecing it together is fun as hell, especially with 3 and 4

one thing, in final nights 4 you dont need to play the game again to know the answers to get the good ending. to actually get it you use the notebook and open it in, and in some rooms something glows blue which you can interact with. after doing that a couple times you get the answers for the questions

Not sure if someone already said that, but in the hospital minigame in Final Nights 4 the writing on the wall next to the plushie is for a code that you need to open the door to the chica minigame.
I’ve been able to use the regular version of final nights 4 every time. The difference is that I used the 7-zip unpacker for the RaR file
yea likely a file in the game is seen as a backdoor or virus by security systems on windows and 7-zip kinda bypasses that with some files

If it really is a “final nights” why are there so many nights?
You’re playing in the protagonist’s final nights. In each installment, the person you play as dies in the end.
Final nights 1: Mike gets killed.
Final nights 2: Afton gets spring locked
Final nights 3: Crying Child dies in the hospital
Final nights 4: Max and Henry get killed
If there are "Final Nights" games where are the "Initial Nights" games?
It’s called final nights because (spoiler)
We play in the protagonist’s final nights. In each installment, the person you play as eventually dies in the end

Shadow Springtrap: (causually glides toward him)
Final nights 4 still worked for me and after this video it still worked anyways great video and final nights gotta be one of my favorite fnaf fan game series next to tjoc
Final Nights 3 is to this day my favorite fnaf fangame ever. I watched Ryan play it and I just attached.
For Final Nights 3, i have a feeling that you are supposed to be Elizabeth Afton in the cutscenes because it looks like you spawn in her bedroom from the flower painting on the wall.
Fun fact! Those "in universe explanations" like the grandfather clock are called "diagetic"! It's super cool
