I agree about the knives. I love knives as much as the next guy, but it has become a fad and how people define blacksmithing. Even when bladesmithing is one small section of blacksmithing as a craft. Roy is great at blacksmithing- which is more than just bladesmithing if we're being honest.

Coat hooks are cool in the neighborhood, especially when they are made by a cool cat like Mr. Roy!
Basic simplicity and utilitarian design...from there the sky is the limit.
The wife wants me to make her a set with the little dragons heads on both ends. Just a little bit above my skill level w a acetylene torch and a cross pein lol. Does give one a goal to work forward to though.

Well covers as a winter "coat"...Alway a help.
I am mailing a bout 3 sets of hooks to some old friends and each can mount them differ to fit their needs such as someone has wants for a hook rack for 6 and some don't have the spot for it.
They can mount on their favorite wood like oak cedar or "their" choice or a bar or steel.....or as you would say "what ever".
