What a great idea for keeping the kiddos busy. My kids are all grown and gone but if I had grand kids this would be a terrific learning experience for both me (novice) and the kids. Thank you!! I think I will go make these anyway.
Great video. just what a beginner like me needs -- simple projects. What size chisel are you using in the video? Is it your standard chisel or a smaller size? Thanks for posting!

Great projects and thanks for sharing! I would like to ask what kind of metal rods do you use for your projects?
1/4" and 3/8" rod and all is A36 mild steel,,,,,
Wish you had plisted time-stamps for the start of each project. Would have made searching for specific ones when I want to make them.
Those hungry guys can split the hot dog stick end before they taper it and get two dogs on there!

I'm using the standard chisel in this video. Let us know if you need anything else! -Ken
@@KjZiturKensCustomIron Thanks - I am going to order one!
If you actually punched all the way through on the horse shoe it could make a nice keychain.
The only snake I'm going to forge will have a heal crushing it's head! Just a reminder to The snake of his fate
