Blacksmithing for beginners: Forging a feather from angle iron.

Hello everyone and welcome to the forge, In this video I forge a feather wall hook from a scrap piece of angle iron I had laying around the workshop. The dimensions of the scrap steel was 8 1/4 inches long, and 3/4 of an inch wide. That was awesome. I havent developed any of my black smithing skills. Ive just concentrated on knives but i sure do want to learn sooner or later. You can make such beautiful are with some fire, steel, and a hammer. Great job

Nice forging! I like to drill my mounting holes offset from each other in the chisel lines. Then I blacken the screws to match and hide them by turning them to match the lines.
