As a man, Jill has helped me understand my actions as a young boy/man and how they affect the women in my past. She does a great job at illustrating and explaining the hurt. This is one of those songs that makes a brotha who has matured go back and say "I'm sorry..." and truly mean it. Love Jill!

It's after 5am and I just wanted to hear this song. Thankfully, it's not because of a broken heart (this time) I just can't sleep but this album is by far, one of my favorites by Jill. This song has actually come full circle for me. It use to remind me of my failed marriage but now it makes me grateful that I now have a wonderful husband...never settle for a man who doesn't have your back ladies, if your patient, he will find you.

@costcordero2 the key word was some point in their life. I've experienced this situation and I did what I needed to do to move beyond becoming a bitter person and closed toward love. I wish we lived in a world of fairy tales and everyone has a happy ending but sometimes when someone has lived this kind of betrayal they don't move on and become like a poison and effect those around them.
