Thats I think because the red Type of the Blaster Ammunition is more likely to kill biological Objects. They maybe use them now because of those Geonosians to kill them more easily because the blue one they regulary use is more like an emp ammunition which is better to destroy Droids. Also the red ammunition is the cheapest.

Only thing I would add is that we see the dwarf spider droid and normal spider droids MOVE in this trailer for a few frames, meaning they are fully AI controlled and not just stationary defenses. Also, it looks like the spider droid's guns will work by sending a laser sight to where they are about to fire, and then will shoot an explosive at that location as seen at about 1:44, pointed at the clone specialist. They also seem to have a laser attack, as seen at 0:15 in the background.

Magnagards ~ corusant: darth sidious, order 66 mode, mace windu, darth vader ~ geonosis: geonosians, super battledroids, at-te, playable gunship, count dooku Dlc: ~ colloseum on geonosis: jango fett, kit fisto, droideka ~ mandalor: pre viszla, ahsoka, rex, darth maul, savage opress ~rugosa: assaj ventress, yoda. (Its the first episode of the series)
guessing from the riot batons, this is probably the start of the 2nd battle of Geonosis, rather than a remake of the first republic invasion. The CIS is probably retaking the planet (landing their core ships after the secret infection outbreak) and this republic's first response. (Dam, what if dice made an alternate version of LPR (Landing at Point Rain)? that would be awesome.)
theres so many questions from this new trailer that I just need answered. i wonder if the spider droids both types are playable as well as fully controlled atte with control over the directional movement as well . I hope they do this right and make it like the old battlefront

Part of me thinks the red lasers on the clones and the riot baton clones may have been due to the way DICE makes these cinematics. I am guessing that they just create a bunch of AI to fight one another using that of the single player campaign, and then may just change the skins of the stormtroopers to being clones. So in turn riot troopers and red lasers persist.
Around 1:11 I first thought that the blue looking clone trooper looks dang lot like an ARC-Trooper. But after some rewatches its just an heavy :( Still really nice short but detaild video
Riot troopers? The campaign has riot troopers so they just needed to make them for clones, Droids, Rebels, And Resistance. They might be using the model they could use form clone riot troopers.
Id want the lightsabers to actually cut open the enemies and not just rag-doll. Like, I want to see them slice in half and shit. Driods fall apart and stuff, splitting from where the saber cut them and leaving the marks on them? Idk, I just feel like it’ll leave satisfaction on using the lightsabers and the feel of a more immersed Star Wars universe.

The riot baton is just an animation they took from the campaign, don't expect it to be in multiplayer.
