I found aloe vera straight from the plant helped me alot. I cut the plant leaves and the juice help me a little . Look it will never go away 💯 but it did help it a bit
I feel like one ingredient focused product like only alpha arbutin just don’t work. But when combined with many other pigment compounds then it really does something. I’ve had melasma for decades and couldn’t imagine JUST using a kojic acid product without the other pigment inhibitors

I've been using azaleic acid for 3 years... Nothing works. I did stronger acids etc. I do use 50spf but when I go on vacation and glasses+sweat wipe it off from under my eyes. The same happened for my forehead because of the hat. I use cream with vit C beside the acid everyday...
As far as I know, you shouldn't use too many active ingredients unless your skin can tolerate it. As for before or after I think they suggest that apply according to their pH level from most acidic to most alkaline then moisturisure and sunscreen

Do you wear sunscreen? If you don't while using vitamin c serum during sunlight time, the skin will be tanner compared using sunscreen without adding vitamin c serum in your skincare.
What about post acne treatment ( accutane) ? Does vitamin c serum help reduce pigmentation? And would using it cause inflammation or sensitivity? (4months after treatment)

Personal hygiene...wash your bedsheets regularly and change your pillow cases every 2 or 4days. Stop rubbing your face with your inner palm or fingers when your face itches. Some acnes are caused by bacteria(germs), allergies or stress. Check and know the couse of yours.
@@dupe181 With how you put it, it can mislead young kids into thinking it's just a hygiene issue when it's really hormonal and specific to their age They're young and they don't know it, so that's why we gotta be careful with our wording But I do agree that simply washing your face with water and patting( not scrubbing or drying completely ) helps twice a day More if they work or live near dirt, sand, oils, or particles

I have used both sunscreen and vitamin c serum..... did not improve at all after months of applying.
Yes sunscreen should keep it at bay but I also find vit C isn't effective at all.
My suggestion is to you all. Please go through the kojicacid dermaco serum it contains niacinamide too I have been using since 2 months.

I’m sure you can but make sure you face is not completely dry after washing. Apply that and then other serums and moisturizers.
