Bought the SuperCap 1 a couple years ago and it was fantastic. Gave it used to one of my sons for his birthday and he said it was a "LIFE SAVER." Only negative thing about the Cap 1 was that it didn't have a case; whereas, the Cap 2 does and a nice one at that. The SuperCap Lite is just as efficient as the Cap 1 & 2.

I bought the Autowit Supercap 2. Test it on my Yanmar 2GM20F marine diesel engine. Charge it up, remove my engine battery totally and connect the Autowit to the starting circuit and voila! Marine diesel engine starts. Tried again 2 more time without recharging the Autowit and engine starts each time. Love it!

    • @wawayltd

Thanks! Looks like both codes pointing at AdBlue heater. Whether replacing heater will solve your problem, I can't guarantee. I can figure out how to do something, because I have few sources of documentation, but I'm not great at diagnosing a problem.
I'm alright trying it on my own car, and if it doesn't help I have no one to blame, but telling someone to spend 200 pounds on a part just to see if it helps... What I would do, I would check wiring and connections around it, and if everything seems to be ok, I would replace the heater. But! That's my humble opinion only.

Hello ive a audi a6 2.7 diesel front wheel drive , europen version . Someone gifted me and i did all the filters and oil change , it has a check engine for air intake manifold + in computer there are some code for injector 2 3 5 , in highway for 130km it consume 8.6 lit , ive test it . But in the city for 20 km it consume 10 lit . Is this normal ? Does it has to do with intake manifold ? Many services here in albania told me dont do something to injectors becouse im gonna have more problems . What do you recommend me to do ?

Thanks, I don't know how strong is the battery on Vespa if it's able to charge this capacitor. If jump starter is fully charged, then it should be able to start Vespa with no trouble.
I know some good battery based jump starters, they also can be good option to carry with your Vespa just in case.

Is your Vespa using 6V or 12V battery? If it is 6V, this won't work and may even damage the Vespa starter motor. If Vespa is 12V, then technically it should work.

Yeah, after some thinking I don't think it's better than some good quality battery jump starters. Car in the video is only 1.6 diesel. Worn out battery. On a positive thought - you don't need to charge it, nice to have with you as a help in unexpected situations.

@@wawayltd Glow plugs can present it with a challenge as it cannot sustain a long discharge. On some engines, the glow plugs eat up the charge before the engine can be started.
I don't think it is a matter of which is a better battery jump starter. This has a specific use-case. Since it requires no stored charge, it can be kept in storage for literally years with no thought given to it and brought out in the event one needs to jump their vehicle. Other solutions require a maintained battery in the device and a lot of people don't maintain their charges; making them expensive paperweights. My family acquired an AutoWit SuperCap 2 (the bigger model with a case) for each car. These are stored in the trunk/boot right next to jumper cables. If a battery based or mains based jumper is available, we use that. If not, the AutoWit. If, for some reason, the AutoWit is not available or convenient, then it is jumper cables to the rescue. If I were jumping a lot of vehicles (like we used to on the farm), I would choose a mains powered charger on wheels or a lead acid battery booster pack. If I were jumping cars occasionally, I would choose one of the Lithium battery solutions. For a stow-it and forget-it backup, we choose a super-capacitor solution since it require zero maintenance.
      Great demonstration. Thanks and subscribed.

@@hansoak3664same thoughts I have on it. If I happen to have a battery jump pack available I'd use it, but I'll never buy one just because I prefer the stash and forget it option that the super cap jump packs provide.
I have multiple cars so it'd hard to keep track of the state of charge on battery jump packs if I kept them on hand for each one.

this thing is a hit or miss half the time, if the battery is very discharged the unit won't even detect it as a battery and doesn't turn on. And when it does turn on it's not guaranteed to start the car even on smaller engines. Most the time I have to use jumper cables AND the autowit to start a car
