Despite the closure of the original Warzone He is constantly loved because a lot of people don't like Warzone 2.0

Few outliers tho, Cyberpunk 2077 is easily one of my favorites with a distinct and amazing style.
I do like how these animations fits rather well for Opposing force (and CS) considering Shephard is well trained and got bigger experience with their guns and weaponry.
But hey Gorden IS also an highly trained professional so.
I think in CS, the T's would have less trained animations but idk how'd you do that in the same time so they match up

I can only imagine what CoD's animation team could do with something like TF2 where they get to give each character distinct animations that reflect their personality and level of expertise

Mix of old school graphics with modern tacticool animation is quite a treat for me
really goes to show how different a game can feel just by something as simple as the animation style...really epitomizes the idea of artstyle>graphics
After seeing the same reload animations from Valve for the past 2 decades, I think the CODMW animations were a significant improvement.
definitely adds a nice new fresh take on the same polygon-count models we've seen for the same amount of time
Also valve's fascination with trying to use any gun with it's stock folded is already annoying
The gun barrel tilted upwards is such a nice little detail. Didn't notice it at first until he put the suppressor on the USP
It's completely inaccurate for most of the firearms shown here, the Glock is the only gun that should have that extreme of a tilt in the barrel and the Beretta should not at all. They added it cuz it looks cool and tacticool not realizing that it doesn't work at all for most of these.

7:30 I should note that Alyx confirms that the pulse plugs contain 30 shots in them, so it would have to feed 4 of them total before the weapon actually needs to be reloaded.
This is interesting to see, but i wouldnt prefer them over their original animations

There's something very cursed about seeing MW19 animations in HL1 graphics.
But they seemed so natural in Counter Strike.
SIG SG for irl experience should han the "Monkey grip" Reload. It uses really thick mags so it would be relatable. I served in Latvian military where we used G36-KV3, and the same gun platform with mags like these it's impossible to just reload like that. (I mean you can try but your mag won't live too much long in active combat)
I've seen these animations modded into so many games by now that I'm starting to get a little tired of seeing them lmao

Any time I see custom reload animations it's always these same ultra tactical overexaggerated movements.

The weirdest part of this is seeing the AK, Scout, and AWP from 1.6 modelled (correctly, might I add) as right handed guns.

I really love the reimagining of the alt fire for the shotgun being a two shot burst in auto mode instead of somehow shooting out of the magazine tube
Top quality reload animations work extremely well with the low res weapon models and classic sounds. Best aesthetic.

The pulse rifle reload was really cool looking
The elevation/zoom of some of the models and small positions of fingers and the like could be tweaked but these fit surprisingly well out of the box.

There's something weirdly erotic in seeing professionally made, well crafted and detailed reload animations in v_ models we've seen the ins and outs of over the past 2 decades minimum, they are SEXY, seeing the frantic but precise movement on the old, clunky and low poly models is just a feast for the eyes

There’s something oddly satisfying about the MW reloads mixed with the classic CS sound effects.
Because Valve's sound design is top tier. Listen to the mp5 reload sounds. So so good.
Idk why I expected TF2 on here, but that would've been hilarious.
on L4D2 there are mods for weapons from MW19 and MW2 MW3 that completely change weapons or animations to the default weapons of L4D2

I think this new era of tacticool style reloads are my least favorite of modernization for one thing: Context.
You can’t tell me an untrained soldier on the ww2 battlefield or a scientist with little to no special training like Gordon freeman under immense stress can perform these tactical reload consistently at all times.
On top of that, the tactical choppiness of the insertions and unnecessary canting for weapons just kills all identities of these varied weapons with different identities
gotta agree, but i have a different reason why i'm ot a huge fan of them and think its overrated
its all overly animated shaky/bouncy cartoony jank, way too much emphasis on every little movement
some people call these parkinsons reloads and i have to agree with them
@@millerthomas4331the entire point of the reloads and animations in mw2019 were that they were being done by highly trained spec-ops soldiers who were under incredibly stressful situations, like being shot at or civilians being shot at during the reloads. They were meant to emphasize the whole, spec-ops strive to not make mistakes under high stress but are ultimately human so they eventually will. This can be seen with the sparratic movements in the reloads and even some of the guns have reloads where they miss the magwell for a tiny sec. It all adds to that feeling, and it what makes them some of the best animations in the industry, you may not like them, but you can't argue with the quality. Though i do agree, while they work so well because of the theme and setting of the game, not every single game should have these type of animations because it wouldn't make sense. While these type of reloads and animations are my favorite, variety is the spice of life

The original dual Berettas have a better reload animation because the character loads both on the screen unlike COD.

"TactiCool" animations while well made are becoming very overused, they do not fit all games and also make every damn shooter blend together in terms of animation.
Variety is the spice of life and I'd rather have tons of unique reloads rather than every single reload be the same throughout many games.
They aren't overused if they're used well.
