I absolutely love this chair, its incredibly comfortable and versatile in how you wish to sit in it. you can star gaze with your head resting on it, sit up straight, or even to a position to reach the ground in front of you. Its really secure feeling. You cannot beat it and seems to be able to found for around $130 bucks or so at times. So worth it. the Helix type chairs are wayyyy worse IMO, they feel way less study, more tippy, not as versatile and like the plastic pieces would break much more easy. Honestly you cannot go wrong with this chair. Great review
I've just taken delivery of the get out gear trekking chair. Very similar but uses your trekking poles for the rear uprights and only weighs 635g. Lighter amd larger than the helinox high back but obviously you need trekking poles so maybe not for family camping like your chair but way better for backpacking 👌 ill have a review up on youtube tonight 7pm uk time.
Thanks for sharing! Gonna pull the trigger on one of these I think. How tall are you? I'm 6'4", and I always appreciate when folks mention their height when reviewing chairs, tents, sleeping bags etc - there's a lot of stuff that just won't fit me
@@Merlmabase im 6 foot 3. Best chair I've used. Its really really comfortable, you can lean back into it and get your head to rest on it with comfort, you can sit up more straight if you like, and you can also lean forward to reach to the ground or a lower position for cooking etc and all positions are fantastic. Amazing chair. Way better than the helix ones, those feels cheap to me and arent nearly as comfortable.
@@Merlmabase Heck yeah. I have a few other camp chairs for canoe trips and they're fine but i wish id just gotten 2-3 of the big agnes ones. They also make really good tents. Big fan of the brand, quality at a fair price. Glad you like it!!
Agnes Big love ? must have been a seamstress of warm comfort. ❤
