Honestly, thank you for the conversation at the end about having depression and stop brushing your teeth. I REALLY seriously relate to that, as I have horrible teeth & have been very very self-conscious about it for the longest time but I just started getting back into a consistent schedule for that. Seriously, I did get inspiration, I seriously appreciate y'all.

TY4 being open about dental stuff. As a 42 yr old recovered addict, I went about 10 yrs without going to the dentist or giving a crap about my teeth & have just gone thru about a year & ½ of dental appointments fixing all the damage. There's no shame in starting to take care of yourself, no matter how long its been since u have. Love u guys! 💜

when me and my brother were like... well, up until i was like 14, my dad smoked cigarettes and when we drove in the car with him, in the winter, he wouldn't roll the window down and me and my brother (sup nathan) had chronic bronchitis all throughout grade school and middle school, for me. I feel you, girls. I was exactly the same. Depression, ADHD, & personal care is so hard. Endlessly starting over and over again is hard. But if you’re like me and fear is sometimes an effective motivator, though it failed me in this specific case, I had to have all of my deteriorating upper teeth pulled. Some I had to fully let die in my head before I could find a surgeon that took my insurance. I had an organ transplant that didn’t hurt that much. I now have a full upper denture 50 years too soon. And while I am Very Lucky to have it, I hate Everything else about it. A lower one is probably only a couple of years away. I know it’s difficult to look after your future self when you’re in The Depths but please look after her as best you can. I know it’s hard to imagine happy sometimes but you’ll be glad you did for many reasons. 💜💜💜
