😂 I know right they barely have enough water to keep them all alive if They all wanna do is sit around and wait to dehydrate ok we will just speed it along
Law is very subjective meaning that anyone can be guilty of a crime at just about any time if policeman wants to charge you bad enough it may not stick but it will put you in jail imagine yourself in those prisoner's position cuz people like you end up there everyday
Battlestar Galactica 2004 is the greatest sci-fi television series in the history of television. The writing, acting, action, realistic understanding of flight avionics in space, the fact there's no over the top futuristic technology that can't be explained logically and the fact ALL characters are characters you can understand and even sympathize with, meaning there are no bad guys,no good and evil. Just a collective desire to survive. Like the Dave Mason song lyric..."there ain't no good guy there ain't no bad guy there's only you and me and we just disagree"
Sorry, Lee, but that was dumb. You're one man, unarmed, and outnumbered incredibly. Zarek implied at least that you wouldn't be hurt if you sat still. Better play would have been to take his offer, gather information, maybe even try to get under Zarek's skin a little, and if nothing else wait for an opening where you could do more than punch two guys before getting knocked out yourself.
People should read Zarekʻs comics of his life before the fall. To me he was just a fallen hero who wanted to free the Vast majority of Sagitaurons from basically Corporate slavery. People worked in the mines for starvation wages while the richest benefited off of it. Zarek grew up working in those mines and even worked with the cylons before they rebelled when he was a kid. When he grew up he was the president of a major labor union and they actually won a huge court case against a large corporation. He and his people then get attacked by the cops and heads busted in. After that Zarek had enough and blew up the Labor of Ministry building and was arrested. He spent the next 20 years in jail and wrote a book which was outlawed and the President of the Colonies even asked if he wanted to be pardoned, he declined and waited for the right time. By the way the reason why that guard helps Zarek is because when they were finding out about the attack they ended up first getting on Gemanon Station in which the cylons boarded and attacked, that guy was saved by Zarek who told him he owed him one. When the Astral Queen joined the fleet one of the prisoners asked Zarek what should they do. He told them that people are now a commodity so in time Roslin will ask for their help and thatʻs when they will move.
Minus that would has make him a young kid. Since the Cylons Rebels in 1948, that would has make him 52 at the time of the Fall of the Colonies, going based roughly the actor's age, he would have been between 3 and 8 when the Cylons revolted. That why the comics are a separate continuity.
only Galactica was designed for long term flight and had water recycling onboard, necessary for longterm patrols, all the other ships just flew from one colony too the others, so it would be easier to just replenish their supplies everytime they docked/landed at each world, Glactica's water tanks were blown up by Boomer who didn't know she was a Cylon, up to that point the fleet had been using Galactica's water recycling system to resupply
Loved BSG because it really dived deep into multiple aspect of human society instead of just pew pew kill robots and ailens
And unlike everything after 2019, it wasn’t cringe lol
Exactly! And they did it in a way that wasn’t pandering to one side of the political aisle- they showed both sides, good and bad.
What an incredibly layered portrayal of the societal dilemma presented in the Galactica storyline. God I miss this show.
The original Apollo one on one with the new Apollo. So awesome!
The original Apollo is a beast
the original apollo being questioned by the new apollo.
I love Saul after a couple drinks.
Ironically, this was Ron's twist on Gun On Ice Planet Zero
“Okay then. All water on this ship meant for prisoners will be redistributed to other ships in the fleet. Good day, gentlemen.”

“Uh-huh. We’ll extend our supply by drinking the blood of the Commander’s son, the two crewmen, and the President’s aide. Good day yourself.”

I'm having a hard time coming up with a logical explanation for FTL jump drives...
On the contrary: most of major characters were self-centered narcissitic crybabies, show regularly depened on (LITERAL!) Deus Ex Machina.
RIP, Richard Hatch
Moral of the story: if you find some power hungry revolutionary who rambles about opression, eliminate him before he gets the power he wants.
Huh???.lol 😆... You do know your analogy is how this country, America, got started? If they were eliminated America wouldn't exist....
actually if the guards worked their duty properly it'd be a good opportunity; it's always better to speak with a united front
Dayuuum! Great clip!

Tigh: Some lemons we could make lemonade!
Tyroll: What's a lemon?

I actually thought Roslin's right hand Billy was a cylon, but wouldnt have been shown until the 5th of the final 5 was introduced
that was the plan until the actor decided to resign
So Say We All
so say we allllll!!!!
Richard hatch, the original Apollo as Tom zarek sure knew how to make an entrance in the new battle star series.
Not going to that ship with a marine detachment was ridiculous
Oh my God's Billy is still alive
but he was already showing signs of the simping that would get him killed (and then never mentioned or thought about again by Dee lol)
Great clip
These ships are closed systems. Do they not recycle their water?
Sure, but after the 10th recycling it starts to taste like Dutch lager 😁
I think the water tanks were destroyed before this

Was that guard in chronicles of riddick? The one killed by the teacup?
Yes that’s him! 😂
Wow Lee cam throw a punch
Apollo is a baaaad sob and I love it
