Laura Roslin was such an incredibly powerful character. It is hard to imagine another actress who could have filled this role the way that Mary McDonnell did.
I wish we saw more shots of the hangar pod itself. you can see there are walkways and other features there. also the fact the elevators go right up to the pods implies that the frequently seen interior hangars are also part of the moving mechanisms, but we never see what effect this has on the internal connections between the hangars and the rest of the ship. are there umbilical corridors linking them? or openings that align with each other as the pods move?
@@SmokeyBCN there is also somewhere a way to move Vipers and Raptors from one pod to the other (they move the entire air wing from the port "museum" pod to the operational starboard in the miniseries..and in the final episodes they move a lot of Raptors to the museum deck .wich is shown pressurized and intact.. meaning they didnt landed there throught the windows). This is such an important scene for Tigh. He chooses not to shoot down Apollo and Roslins ship, something he has every right to do. He shows you that he really "doesn't want a command", which is a big deal because he has declared martial law and was acting like a military dictator. Good for him

Billy's behaviour makes no sense here. If he really opposed Roslin's plan, he wouldn't have helped her escape.
