- When the command staff realise there is an agent Cylon aboard, Adama turns to Baltar for help.
From "Water" (Season 1, Episode 2): Lt. Sharon Valerii wakes up soaking wet in the tool room with an explosive charge in her duffel bag. Shortly afterward, a mysterious explosion destroys all the port-side water tanks on Galactica, creating a crisis for the entire fleet.

It must be so strange to talk to Gaius Baltar. You’ll be in the middle of conversation and he stops and looks at nothing, then comes back with something smart to say.
Probably a bit like JD from Scrubs. He is always drifting off to some daydream, then comes back with a one-liner related to the daydream that nobody else understands.
James Callis should have easily won an Emmy during this run. Really we witnessed a rare chance for an actor to illustrate a complex character full of grand illusions, self preservation, greed, affability, and self loathing.

Baltar walks by (or thinks it is head 6) a real 6 who is turning him in for treason. So where is she? .....she is standing right next to you
Baltar reveals his real accent as he is trying to escape his past persona as a Aerilonian.
Baltar requests an atomic weapon, but glances at 6 before revealing the request to Adama.
Baltar beats Starbuck at the card table, she assumes he was an intellectual rube.
James Callis had a role of a lifetime in BSG.
Not just for playing such a nuanced character, but for all the smooching with Tricia Helfer.😘😍🤪

@@tpl608 The writers may have admitted the process of developing the plot was organic, but that makes it even more impressive to me. I do not have any problem with their decisions. Anything unanswered makes me an active participant in the story. I love that. Being spoon fed everything is passive and boring and is far too prevalent in our society.
A tv drama that still inspires philosophical and existential debate..
Really nailed this casting. Exceptional character you do not get to see very often.
You know what was amazing with this show? Everyone rightly talks about the accumulated damage to Galactica racking up over the show, but there's also the human damage. Adama still has a cut to his forehead from a previous episode. In something like star trek that would have magically healed by now

Helo and Athena were a great but under used part of this show.
As duas sociedades a dos humanos e a dos Cylons divididas pela lógica do mundo e do Sub- mundo e para lá da compreensão no infra- mundo conseguem criar as três sociedades que se regem a partir de brama o deus monoteísta único e de acordo com os outros três deuses Rá, Aquenaton e Baal e como centro Brama. Com 4 Profetas centrais e cada profeta com três evangelhos que soma 12 evangelhos e deus brama central e mais 3 deuses criadores do monoteísmo ou seja a via do entendimento entre os 5 mundos da rosa dos ventos ou da rosa das chuvas. Ou seja uma sociedade privilegiada e uma não privilegiada a sociedade do mundo( os humanos) era a sociedade privilegiada e a sociedade do Sub- mundo( as Máquinas) que é a sociedade não privilegiada que tem contactos com o infra- mundo e portanto existe uma guerra entre as duas sociedades. A sociedade dos humanos e a sociedade das Máquinas.
Existe um grupo chefe com um filho primogénito e doze filhos que simbolizam os doze mundos da galáxia na série de galáctica.
