PaperGen's outline feature has been particularly helpful. It lays out ideas in a logical order, making the writing flow smoother. I find myself spending less time staring at a blank page and more time actually putting words down. It's like having a writing partner that does the heavy lifting of structuring.

Interesting tool, looking forward to tinkering with it.
    Some words of advice:
    - the more AI that you use for your prose(actual book content), the attention you may need for content editing(e.g., fact checking, etc). AI will still provide false/inaccurate data.
    - you can accomplish most of what Dibbly appears to do with free AI tools, but as Sean mentions, it will take you more time.
    - do what Sean mentioned about putting YOU(your unique influence/touch) into the book. ESPECIALLY if you have a defined customer avatar and unique value proposition. It can help set you apart and help in building a brand. Otherwise AI books tend to be boring.

Thanks Sean for sharing, this is amazing indeed. Just one note: If you do include sources, this might consume up to 400.000 tokens and thus, after 3-4 chapters you might have burned through the 20 USD description. So including sources for non-fiction does cost around like 3-4 USD per chapter.

    • @SeanDollwet
      @SeanDollwet  8 місяців тому +10

Yes, but content you get is way better using the sources, and its still way cheaper and faster than any other way to create a whole book

Hi Sean. One thing I look at when buying a non-fiction book is information about the Author, basically their experience in the topic they are writing about. Obviously using AI to essentially craft the book for you as a topic you have picked as KDP profitable might make your credentials harder to substantiate. How have you or how would you deal with this? Key point for me. Thanks in advance.

Nice tutorial. I’m working on a book now using Dibbly. The tricky part for me was learning to generate the outline, saving the outline to notes and from there generating the book from the outline. Also producing dialogue could use an entire tutorial by itself.

Dialog is one area that is tricky for ai, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. You really have to flesh out your characters beforehand and provide that information up front to the ai you use. Only you know how your character should speak or act during dialog.

I'd be too afraid to use AI to write something that I don't normally dwell in and sell it on Amazon. I write my own short scary stories and novels and if I used AI to write some other topics just to make money then I'm putting what I love to do at risk of losing my credibility and accounts, especially on amazon. Since Amazon only allows you to have one account it's too risky. People need to take that into consideration if they use their amazon account for anything else.

    • @pawlieblog7967

That’s what everyone thinks but there’s nothing wrong with writing for an audience. I’m a business writer and have spent my career writing for various audiences, ghostwriting for execs, etc. As long as you understand the research and have a good handle on your audience, I see no problem with writing for profits on Amazon. Just be sure to study their guidelines and stay within the bounds of common sense.

You should have started the video being up front about the cost. As far as your other response to a comment, Chatgpt is not that hard to "figure out" especially if you are an actual writer. You can likely get a decent book even if you're not by first creating an e-book on the topic and then prompting it to dig deeper with each section. It could take a few more hours, but it is FREE.

Anyone who needs a book on decluttering, would definitely buy the book. lol. these are good tips for someone who wants to sell something with no value, but what are some tips for someone who wants AI to help write a story, or a biography? Will Dibbly ghost write an autobio?

What are the apps that you use to rewrite the book so that it cannot be detected as written by AI, and what is the app, or website that you use to see if one's book shows as written by AI?

There is a protocol when you use the form to publish your book. Some questions asked about the use of AI. You better answer them honestly if you want to avoid a ban for your account.

If you use AI to write for you then it's important to follow a very simple checklist of steps that will take the content and help you convert and reword it so that it doesn't fail the AI screening that Amazon will perform. Sean has a video that covers this in really great detail.

Sean, I have an off-topic question, but perhaps one you could use for the backbone of a future video. Your story of selling your initial KDP account is what made me curious. The question pertains to how you're able to start a new account when you sold your account to someone else? I hear that Amazon is pretty strict about not granting new accounts to people. I'm assuming that, as part of the buying/selling process, Amazon has a methodology to shift the account to another person and grant you a new one in this particular instance, but I just haven't heard anything concrete about it. Are you granted a new account when you sell one? For the person who bought your old account, does all your content go to their account, or do they take ownership of your old one? I'm just curious about how that process works out concerning Amazon's rigid stance on only granting a single account to a single person. Anyway - that's the question. Love your videos, Sean! Inspirational stuff and I'm happy to see your channel growing. ~Ben
PS: I'm a fellow digital nomad, living 6 months a year on a sailboat with my family. Coming at you from Exuma, Bahamas via Starlink. We fund our travels via a UA-cam channel, but I won't post it here. Looking to add a new income stream via self-publishing. 6 books in process. 2 are uploaded awaiting final approval from "The Zon" with 4 more in the hopper. I'm dead-set on making this stuff work. Truth-be-told, I'm currently enrolled in another similarly priced course as what you offer, but I wish I had known about your's before my entry fee was locked in.
