@@imjcarp you trying to go fast in a straight line or just fast in general? 😂
@@TreadDepthChannel I’m not too concerned with speeds after 80mph , probably whatever I can smoke people off the red light and move quick around town etc
@@imjcarp i know for a fact that 5.0 mustangs can be far more capable for less money if youre just stop light dragging
The C7 is the best bang for the buck for the money an they are reliable an make power with little work.
The market is adjusting but I just dont think the c7 has the added value outside of being newer
20k ? Try 30k in Texas
Short hike to Florida
@@TreadDepthChannel it’s funny you say that because I just flew out of Florida
Zip Corvette will refurbish your headlights with new lenses and seals if you want to keep them original.
Thats good to know!
Good job, kid.
Nice video
Thanks
Finally have a softer ride ditching the Firestone run flats. Continental Extreme Contact sport 2 are as good as the sport cup. Over 107k mi and still strong like bull. If you do your homework you will find a well maintained C6 with records at a fair price.
They idle a tad rough cause they push a lot of HP out of the V8. It has a tad of an aggressive camshaft. I own a C7 & mine has what I call the pee shivers at idle. Mine has low mileage & yes I’m the old boomer Vette dood brah 🤷
Not the pee shivers! 🤣
I read once that all LS3's idle rough since the large heads and high performance nature of the car. Also GM tuned them to idle clean for emissions and MPG. You may be able to tune the idle smooth with HP tuners, but at the expense of more fuel used.
@@jimsvo4486
could be idk I own an LT1 brah 🤷♂️
Good luck with the white plastic at the top of the fuel pump leaking gas I had to replace 2 times Chevy replaced it on a recall. I had to pay to replace it again 7 years later 3,300 dollar job. This was a 2011 c6 And other problems gas tank on these are the most ignorant set up I have ever seen Chevy is not stocking many parts for the C6 anymore Good luck. I gave my vet one more thing and that is a new owner
@@paulrhoads1367 yeah thats an unfortunate failure point, im a technician so its not the end of the world but i wouldnt want to have to pay someone to do it thats for sure
c6 is best looking since c 2.
C6 Z06 is peak Corvette design
05-07s can be found even cheaper the ls2 gets too much hate just don’t get a 4 speed auto 05
Yeah they are good cars i just feel like the 08+ is that bit more refined
@@TreadDepthChannel my buddy just got a 3LT z51 2007 low miles, $18k that’s amazing to drive so much better then the base 2005 he got rid of, it’s been making me want a c6 badly and pretty sure I’m gonna get one. I’m sure the 08 and above are even better though.
@@cartere9981 yeah the tr6060 is just smoother than a t56, the steering is also tighter
Yes.
You right tho
I'll take a '63 split window coupe.😅
Constant problems. I cant say I didnt enjoy my c6 but my wallet definelty didnt. Love my c7z
Really? Thats wild. Im just dealing with an oil cooler line leak
Dang like what idd think these big v8’s were reliable
@@sweetandsour6521 ls3's are known for being nearly indestructible
@@TreadDepthChannel so a used one with like 50k miles I don’t have all this bs maintenance to deal with I’m an Audi owner so I had to do timing chains and shit like that
@@sweetandsour6521 ive never seen an ls3 need a timing chain if it makes you feel better lol

Almost purchased a brand new 2017 but opted for the SS instead. Wish I could afford both. 🥹
