I absolutely love this vehicle. I only buy Lexus because they are reliable and reasonably priced, and maintenance won't "kill" your budget. This is a fair and great review, and I perfectly match this vehicle's "target" market makeup. I'm so happy and look forward to pushing the mileage well into the 150,000s; you can do this easily with a well-maintained Lexus.

You said you wouldnt buy it now because of the pricing, I think the 2017 is still around the same price, milage dependant, so I have been looking at the grand sport.

Spend a little more for a grand sport and you get better handling, better looks, a dry sump oil pump, and with the manual a hand assembled LS3 among other goodies.

Really hope I get to own one of these in my life time, they were my dream cars during the release when I was little and it still is my dream car today, so glad it's at a somewhat affordable price, the BMW can't stay forever

Got my 1987 n/a auto 740 in Vancouver BC for 675$ in 2017, drove it back to Quebec, over the course of 4 years driving it semi daily and doing regular maintenance, i swapped in an m47 from a volvo 240, re painted it, sold it in 2021, just re bought it a month ago and the thing is still working, it has over 500 000km’s on the original engine and it still starts at a quarter turn, the thing is a beast and i will keep it forever, got a spare turbo engine this time too, so only good things to come for my ole volvo. (Got the same Momo Monte Carlo steering wheel also, from 1987 too) My car has the same specs as your car im pretty sure, just 2 years difference, ZF tranny did hold up for about 300k km’s, it disintegrates smoothly though, lost 4th, a bit later 3rd and so on made it from my job to halfway up my hill and it stayed there for a while lmao

I was set on a C5, in part for nostalgic purposes, but your video has convinced me to go for a C6 when the time comes, hopefully soon.

It's not a sports car, its actually a GT. This was a rather cursory review. You left out many features that make the car more desirable for someone who is looking for a GT (e.g. four wheel steering, limited slip differential, double wishbone aluminium front suspension, variable damping, six piston front brake calipers, variable ratio steering... etc etc).

Last real corvettes are the C7s.the Z06 and the 2019 ZR1s are amazing machines,well not the interior.

Always wanted to own one of these but insurance for younger people is absolute horse shit. Perfect driving record with zero traffic warnings, tickets, or encounters, yet I still pay almost twice the amount of my dad who gets speeding tickets weekly.

The C6 is the best looking Corvette. Way better than the C7 and C8 with their "cluttered" rear ends, and swoopy bodies. It's a classic that will never go out of style.

Scared to drive mine in Track as I have OE wheels and scared of cracks. Can’t wait to get forged wheels.
