    I think an under chassis jet wash is an essential piece of equipment for detailing. Use it weekly during your winter washes. I think there is a gap in the market to add a bottle to one of these to add some chemicals up into the underside of the car, then rinse them off for a better clean. DIY detailing, you guys should come up with a bottle that fits into the standard 1/4 inch attachments. I would definitely buy this. I wanna be able to spray chemicals using my chassis spray bar.

      I'm doing this today, but will be jacking the car up to apply a mix of snowfoam & apc to bite through the salt and grime before running the chassis cleaner

      @79blustone Місяць тому +3

      @chriscrayonsroberts8025 There is something deeply satisfying cleaning the chassis the way you've described. Knowing the whole car is clean and not just the shiny bits are as best as they can be makes you feel great and somehow the car drives better....it's all psychological of course but is it? 👍

    I gotta be honest I’m scared of using a clay bar. My car is an o6 garage kept, never ever has it been thru a car wash. Always done in my driveway then pulled into the garage. I wanna get pumped to really decontaminate and use my orbital polisher. Your decontamination towel is really calming me down to successfully try claying/decontaminating. I’m sooooo afraid of “scratching, or creating swirls on my paint. Your channel and clips are god sent for us weekend driveway warriors lol

      They are not cheap but I like them because they are much easier to clean grit and dirt out of at the end of the detail and I can monitor how dirty my wash solution is getting and determine if I need to dump and make a clean solution to continue. Another issue with them is that they are made of polycarbonate, which is not very chemical resistant, so you will need to replace the every once in a while but I believe the advantages of them make them worth it.
