Definitely love solo real time washes. More of these would be great. Traditional wash outside in the sun, rinseless on a dirtier vehicle/wheels and tires included, etc. DIY is the best!
Noted!
Yeah I like these solos by yvannnn. Hate it when Nick is there for him to just yap something lol. Just makes the video longer. Yvvvan straight to the point.
I enjoy real time videos because it gives the person watching a good perspective on how long it takes to do a particular job.
Thank you.
Same here
Thank you.
I like the real-time videos. Maybe in the future try to do a truck or a bigger SUV that requires a step ladder with only one person. It takes me about an hour just to do foam cannon, rinse and then rinse-less wash and dry. I’m thinking of stepping away with the foam cannon and just use the foam sprayer of DIY rinseless and then do a rinse less wash. Hopefully that can cut my washing in half. Especially if I’m washing once a week. No need for a foam cannon.
Agreed
I've watched many of your videos and really enjoy them. I've bought a number of DIY products (incredible suds, quick beads, ceramic gloss, decontamination towel and different microfiber drying towels) and now have a very shiny bright red hyundai sonata.
How about a video on Yvan & Nick. Not to get too personal, but maybe just talk about your backgrounds and your position at DIY Detail.
Thanks for all that yo do guys.
Good plan, Thank you.
I really liked this format! Keep it up!
Awesome, thank you!
love your videos, they always have a combination of years of experience, productivity and efficiency using the best products👍
Thank you!
Really enjoyed this perspective. Makes you feel like you are really there learning from Yvan! Look forward to more videos like this from DIY. You all are the best!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love these realtime videos. As I'm new to rinseless, i can see where I can be more efficient and your running commentary explains things.
Cheers
Awesome! Thank you!
I like this type of video content, keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!
Been watching all these videos to gather knowledge and super excited for the decontamination kit to come back in stock as well as the gold standard polish so I can tackle some of my vehicles! Considering the stack on them as well! If not then the 8 year will be good too! Thanks guys
Great to hear!
Love this type of content myself. Thing's happen in real time and you show us what to do to fix the problem instead of just cutting it out. Keep them coming plz.

Thank you for doing videos such as this one for those that don't have an expensive detailing setup. It's good to know that I can get good results without spending a lot of money.
Thank you.
I like the intro in the beginning really kool 👍🏼👍🏼 great video Yvan
Glad you like it
Love the video Yvan👍
Glad you enjoyed it
I have to say I was reluctant to change my method and products from what I was using to detail my vehicles for about 20 years until I found DIY. Your products work! The fact that I have access to your video tutorials is a great comfort to me while I try new things. Feels like you have my Back! I can have more fun rather than stress about not having the correct method. thanks Yvan.
Thanks for sharing
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Loved this style video!! Great video 💪
Glad you liked it!!
I like this because most of us DIYers probably don't have someone to help us with the process.
Try and make detailing a family affair
@@diydetailofficial Agreed but I'm a few thousand miles from family. Quite lonely here.

Love that utility carttttt!!

Thank you.
Hello, I was wondering if you had a way to sign up to get alerts to when you've restocked on your products? I've been trying to buy some things last couple of weeks but all is sold out which is a great sign your product work and people like them. Please let me know. I really have learned how to be more effecient with your videos really appreciate them.
Thank you., if all works out 95% of our products will be in stock this week
As I'm just getting into the business, the real time format may be more beneficial to me. Might not be for everything, but a mix would be great! Looking forward to more like this.
Thank you. You can also check the live section of our content.
The background music excelente since most use hard rock and washing a car is a relaxing chore, job or pass time
Glad you liked it!
That Rinseless Wash process works great. The pollen will benefit from it for the next few weeks in Maryland.
Pollen season is never fun.
Hi Guy's. Another great video Ivan, keep them coming. You may remeber me as the slightly crazy guy who was thinking of polishing his brand new Jaguar F-pace SVR having never picked up a polisher before. Well... I bottled that, and had Gtechniq Platinum professionally applied and it looks great. A question regarding Quick beads please. Have you ever tried applying it through a foam cannon. I have used Gyeon Wetcoat this way before and it works well.
It works, but you will use a lot of product.
Great video as always guys! Can you give me any info on the detail cart? Did it come with the bucket holder? Def need!
We will have a video soon, we made it.
Great video! Can you tell us where you got that cart from with the bucket holder, I definitely need that!
The cart is from harbour freight, the bucket holder is simply some shelf brackets and plywood
Great vid, could you do one showing how to remove paint transfer when you don't have a polisher? Thanks!
Great suggestion!
You mentioned to leave the bugs for the end. I have a hard time removing the bugs and cat hair from my soft green brush and sponge. How do you guys recommend cleaning the wash media? Thanks, amazing content and products.
Let them soak in your wash bucket.
I love your content! Just bought a bunch of products after trying rinseless. Regarding using water spot remover, do I need to rinse or can I just spray with rinseless and use a damp microfiber in rinseless? I don't have easy access to water and if this is double it'd be a win for me.
Thanks for all the content! Keep up guys.
DIY Detail Water Spot Remover needs to be rinsed, you can do it with a sprayer and DIY Detail Rinseless Wash
@@diydetailofficial Thank you.
Great video format. How often would you recommend decontaminating a ceramic coated car using this method?
Every 6-12 months
22:07 You answered my question I was going to ask.
Good
That is very quick when compared to me! Guess i will train myself a bit more since i just started to use rinseless wash. Off the topic but i just got ik e foam pro 12. What dilution ratio should i use if i put incredible suds in ik foamer for prewash?
1/2oz per gallon
Hey Ivan, I noticed in a lot of your videos you have the luxury of washing and decontaminating with iron remover in an indoor setting, which is great. My question and concern is I often do my washes outside and am battling the sun and even if it’s not sunny the heat. When doing iron decontamination as per your methods I try to bring the vehicle inside the garage. My question is how long is it safe to leave the vehicle with iron remover on it while it’s inside and the panels are still relatively warm, if the chemical dries up is that an issue while it’s in the garage or should I be rinsing it off in between? I have come across this issue on few occasions already. Keep in mind i do not have a drain in the garage so I would normally move the vehicle back outside for rinsing.
No issue if it dries, it will rewet and rinse away
Great information! What about the wheels??
We wiped them down with a DIY Detail Rinseless Wash dampened towel.
Can you please complete a video regarding making your detailing cart
It’s being edited
Hi Yvan and Nick. After watching a ton of your videos, I've finally decided to purchase my first polisher, a Griot G9, as well as purchasing the gold standard polish, wool pad, yellow waffle pad, and red jeweling pad. After using the wool pad on my car, would I still need to wipe away the polish with a damp towel or could I go ahead and use the red jeweling pad with the prior polish residue still on the car?
Thanks and love from Mississauga,
Thank you. No need to wipe off between steps if you don’t want too
Great video… thanks for sharing. Question… after you have done this and you notice some swirl marks… next time I wash it, can I polish it? Even though it has ceramic gloss on it? Or do I need to do something first??? Thank you!!
Yes you can.
Question about rinseless wash. You are always recommending throwing towels, brushes, pads, applicators and sponges in your bucket of rinseless when your job is completed. I've found this method works great keeping things clean. My question- Is there any reason not to use rinseless wash in your washing machine instead of laundry detergent when you are laundering your microfibers and drying towels?
You can, but it’s not as efficient as a dedicated laundry detergent
Thank you for the video, super helpful to see it done in realtime
Quick question - I washed the car today (traditional power wash), and it already has some pollen on it….can I just wash it with rinseless wash as here without a hose?
Yes
@@diydetailofficial thank you for replying, you guys are awesome!!
Thank you.
I have the same US General cart. What addons on the cart do you use? Seems like a great setup!
We added home made bottle and bucket holders
I enjoy these videos, I like to keep my black Jeep clean. Some day, I wanna give her a good exterior cleaning. Wash, clay bar, polish, wax, etc. To make her shine. Can you tell me the best process and products to use. Maybe a video idea for you?
Thanks
I’ll be doing our JL soon
Hi, can you tell me where to buy such a cool stroller? So when will the warehouses be full again? Your representative in Poland has a big shortage, and I would be happy to make some purchases.
We will have stock this week.
When is diy coming out with the diy wax?
Almost done R&D
I’m trying to recall but was there one of your products that you said not to use it with your decontamination towel? Love your products, great video Sir 👍😁
These are the products that are safe to use with the Perforated Synthetic Decontamination Towel .

DIY Detail Incredible Suds
DIY Detail Iron Remover
DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss

@@diydetailofficial this really helps, thank you 👍😁
I like this video as well as many others. In this application of ceramic gloss spray, you did not buff after drying. Why?
No need, the drying is all that’s needed.
Hey Ivan! Can you provide me the link for the cart?
I loves this video. More like this. 😊😊😊
The Cart is from harbour freight, we modified it. Video coming soon
@@diydetailofficial awesome
Ivan quick question can I use the waters spot stuff you guys sell instead my truck don't fit in a garage to clean my coating an when will you be stocked back up on stuff
Yes, our inventory should be replenished this week
When will 5 year ceramic coating kit coming in stock
This week
Thanks for the video. I never thought of doing it this way and it just made my spring/fall coatings on my daily that much easier.
thank you for posting relatable content for vehicles people use everyday. It’s tiresome seeing everyone online who’s an “expert” saying you have to do a crazy amount of prep to add ceramic, an example being a polish. I never polish unless it’s absolutely necessary on my daily driver. I apple a spray ceramic twice a year and top up using it as a drying aid once a month. My vehicle always looks fantastic. Have a great day.
Thank you.
If the process you wanted to use was - wash, decon w/ iron remover, and finish with ceramic gloss, could you go right into ceramic gloss after iron remover, or would it be best to rinseless wash in between?
Rinse and apply
no sound at all from the battery powered sprayer. now that is nice.
It’s very quiet
@@diydetailofficial can u share the brand name, or where to buy one? Thanks!
what do you do with your drying towel after wiping off the ceramic gloss with it? doesnt that make the towel become crispy/hydrophobic?
Soak in your wash bucket a few minutes
If some panels on my truck have scratches and need to be polished etc while some panels are fine, would you polish whole truck or only panels needed?
Also do you recommend washing after this?
Lastly, how often do you recommend to polish and wax etc
Thx very much
Polish only what needs polishing. No need to wash immediately after this procedure, only when it’s needed. Polish the least amount possible, wax as often as you want.
@diydetailofficial sorry auto correct got me. Was supposed to say wax immediately after polishing? I believe for protection the answer is yes
Correct
The battery powered sprayer looks way easier than pumping the IK foamer a million times. What brand is that battery powered sprayer?
It’s one we are testing
How do you clean under the fenders using this technique
Simply with a hose
Watching the real-time video, let's me know that I am doing the process correctly.
Excellent
I have some scratches on black paint nothing deep I'm a newbie where do i start
Try a light polish.
Hello, Can you use Quick Beads instead of ceramic gloss?
Yes
Yvan, can you please explain when I should use quick beads vs when I should use ceramic gloss? If I use ceramic gloss or quick beads this wash how will that effect my next polishing? Is there a time to wait before I can polish? Sorry there’s a lot in this comment. Thanks.
Ciao, anche il vostro clay towel bisogna passarlo la prima volta sui vetri o si può passare direttamente sulla superficie verniciata? Grazie
Directly on the paint for the diy detail clay towel is ok
How often do you recommend decontaminating with ceramic gloss?
Every 3-12 months
Could you do it with iron remover (instead of ceramic gloss) or would there be a need to rinse the iron remover away as you work to make sure it doesn't sit on the paint? I'm mobile so I work outside in the heat...
DIY Detail Iron Remover needs to be rinsed
Now thats a very clean car to begin with 😂
Agreed, but it was contaminated
Most of the vehicles I do tend to be extremely dirty and the grill/front end doesn’t get a good clean in all those cracks and crevices. What’s the best thing I can do?
Pre-treat, rinse, treat again and contact wash
20:29, nice effect, I thought it was intentional.
Thank you.
@@diydetailofficial merci beaucoup
I just don’t get how this method doesn’t scratch the paint. Have to try this method, I recently had my vehicle detailed and the did paint correction and demonstrated how to do a rinseless wash but in still scared
Rinseless is only a 30 year old technology, the industry is slow to adapt.
What was the drying blanket brand and size please?
Diy detail for the size I don't know but it must be the biggest one they got

Does doing a weekly rinseless wash abrade the ceramic gloss at all? Would you get better longevity out of ceramic gloss with weekly washes or say monthly washes? Thanks!
Weekly is best.
@@diydetailofficial even if I won't be applying ceramic gloss weekly? It's better to keep it clean overall?
Yes
Do you leave the decontamination towel before using it in the same bucket where you are dunking the dirty sponge?
Also how do you care for the decontamination towel after you are done?
Yes, the DIY Detail Rinseless Wash is excellent at keeping the wash media clean.
Soak in your wash bucket, rinse, dry
What I wanna know is what detailing cart is that
One I made, we will have a video on it.
The bucket water looks pretty dark after a short while. How are you not getting dirt on the sponge and bringing it back to the car?
The rinseless wash immediately attaches itself to the dirt and removes it from the sponge. Many use a grit guard at the bottom to rub against and help keep suspended particles at the bottom. Trust me, it works!
We designed DIY Detail Rinseless Wash to clean the car and the wash media, not the water in the bucket.
@diydetailofficial But you're dipping the sponge into the dirty water. Wring out the sponge or not, there is dirt in the sponge, especially after soaking it in dirty water. The pores of the sponge will capture dirt particles. I find it hard fetched to believe the chemical will somehow force the dirt out and leave only the rinsless wash or nothing on the sponge. I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm a customer and love the rinseless wash, but it seems you are better served rinsing the car with a good cleaner, followed by praying one panel at a time with rinseless wash and using several clean microfiber towel. Love the product and your videos, I just don't see how the dirty water is not impacting the wash process.
It doesn’t impact the wash process, the water is darkened, but all particles that are big enough to cause damage are dropped to the bottom of the bucket. What you see is encapsulated in DIY Detail Rinseless Wash and poses no risk. That’s said if you’re more comfortable using multiple towels, that’s great, no need to change.

What's the point of selling your products when 35% of the items in your store are out-of-stock? Had to wait several months for your drying towel.
Our inventory issues are soon over now that we have a warehouse that can accommodate our growth.
When will the legacy sponge and All Clean be back in stock? :o
I thought you are supposed to soak with rinseless, rinse with water, then contact wash? The rinse is unnecessary?
Depends on the level of dirt, if not sure, best to rinse.
When will the Ceramic Coating Maintenance Kit - Ceramic Gloss be in stock ?
This week our inventory should be back
Why would you use a decontamination towel with a ceramic sealant after a rinseless wash?? Seems there is no decontamination occurring for such a topical clean.
Why not?
Contamination builds over time, it’s not removed by washing
@@mills2424 why would you if not using decontamination products along with decontamination towel. So ceramic gloss removes iron now?? Come on. Think.
@@diydetailofficial yes I understand that. My question is are you really removing all decontamination with rinse less wash and ceramic gloss and perf. Decontamination towel?

Oh and more thing, looks very streaky. That would leave a car a mess down here in Texas. Not a fan of this process. Counterintuitive.
I suggest you try it before discounting it.
I assume you say this process would leave a car a mess down in Texas because of the heat in Texas, causing the products to dry and streak before towel drying? If not, why would this not work in Texas being that numerous Texas detailers use this process quite often. They just have to work section by section like I have to do in the Kentucky summers.
