AS an OG Star Wars fan who saw "Star Wars" (not "A New Hope" but "Star Wars") in the theater when it was first released, to rank anything above Empire is criminal. CW is great, but Empire is on a completely different level.

I appreciate the listing. Personally, I thought season 3 of mandalorian was good. But yes, seasons 1 and 2 were far better (despite the weird, yet oddly terrifying digitally de-aged Luke Skywalker). As far as the Book of Boba Fett is concerned, I do kinda wish he was a bit more “violent” as he did seem kinda laid back. Not only that, he relied on his allies the majority of the time. Regardless, I enjoyed the show, and I thought the inclusion of Cad Bane was neat. Although, I wish he had more screen time. I don’t think I saw it on the list, but I thought ahsoka was better than both the mandalorian and boba fett. The acting, the writing, the musical score, the character development, were all fantastic. Especially the late Ray Stevenson’s character Baylan Skoll as well as Grand Admiral Thrawn. I haven’t seen Andor or Obi-Wan yet, but I’ll watch them eventually. Overall, I love and appreciate the time you put into your video. Definitely agree with most of it.
Seems like people don’t understand the amazing storytelling in The Last Jedi, feels like people only want what came before with nothing new and intriguing at all
The Clone Wars was actual perfection. I grew up watching it, and I was never super into Star Wars. But the Clone Wars hit me in a different way. The characters are so well fleshed-out, even the clones, younglings, Padawans, and of course the main crew. Anakin and Obi-Wan’s brotherhood makes ROTS that much more depressing, and Anakin in particular is super likable and relatable for most of TCW to the extent where you question the Jedi Order more than his decisions. Ahsoka’s bond with Anakin was done so perfectly, and her character is universally loved, something I bet no one would’ve predicted in the intro movie. Maul and Savage were done perfectly; every episode that featured them was an absolute masterpiece. And most importantly, Clone Wars amplified ROTS. Watching everyone you were introduced to and grew to love meet their horrific fates in ROTS was far more heartbreaking than it was on release.
Except for Savage becoming so powerful, so insanely fast. Even with the magic, he easily uses the force and kills a Jedi on what amounts to day 1. It was odd that they made him appear invincible at first, only to get his ass kicked by Maul and Dooku, but then be much tougher against Jedi who'd typically best Maul. Savage wasn't handled the best, imo.
Finally glad someone agrees that Solo is over-hated. Literally was a great film and did what it needed to do, it was just the last jedi hatred falling over into it for no good reason.
When I first saw both episode IV and V, they just didn't truly wow me. I liked it, but I didn't get truly invested into the universe (I saw them when I was about 12 in 1997). Then I watched Return of the Jedi - and it truly felt like a fantasy epic - starting with a castle in the distance on a barren sandy planet, ending with the great big epilogue that affects not only just a bunch of people in space, but a ground crew too. It will always be my favourite.
I agree on many things, but Rogue One is the for the best movie of all of them. In a certain way you get to understand how did the events of episode 4 happened and how did the rebellion was build. And for real, the show Obi-Wan Kenobi is overhated as much as Solo, i understand the show was lazy slow, but it gave us some good stuff, far from excellent yes but not useless. And just to say, remember in episode 4 when Vader and Kenobi fight ? In the beginning of it Vader says "Last time we saw each other, i was the apprentice and you were the master", well that voice line is technically wrong because of the this show. So imma say the show did this voice line wrong, i don't know how they messed it up.
In my opinion, A New hope should have been ranked waaaaaay higher, maybe even higher than return of the Jedi. It’s just so iconic and introduces all the main characters. I’ve watched it like 10 times and I’m still not bored of it, revenge of the sixth, too

I’m not gonna debate your list (although I mostly agree with it), but I do wanna point out that the visual effects in A New Hope were the product of John Dykstra & his team at ILM. George Lucas didn’t invent the technology personally. There’s a really great documentary on Disney+ that goes into the behind-the-scenes details called Light & Magic, which you’ll find in the Star Wars menu. But it doesn’t take anything away from Lucas because he was still the guy who had the vision to hire those guys and finance their work.
I thought Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series is going tell about his Origins But they didn't, and I'm disappointed about the Obi-Wan Kenobi series didn't tell about his origin.
With bad batch I can live with it being a 3 season show as I felt even the first two had a bit too many filler episodes for my taste so I‘m ok with them bringing the story to a close without dragging it out. Andor on the other hand would have deserved at least 3-4 seasons. I just hope having only 2 seasons won’t result in rushed pacing while still telling the story it has to tell
Pretty decent list. Placing Rogue One over Phantom Menace is a no for me and having Mandalorian over both is also a miss. I'm currently watching the Clone Wars show for the first time. The jumbled episodes is annoying, I hope that gets better.
i mean, most people actually liked the fact that Boba Fett showed that he was a human and it gave an understanding on the fact that he isnt actually evil in any way or form just that he hates the jedi for murdering his father and ruining his life, he is way nicer and way more moral than 99% of all the jedis
I have to say that I mostly agree with this tier list. I also love how empire strikes back wasn’t first and clone wars was. Truly the greatest decision in history.

Episode II should have been 3 hours long. Its underrated and just needed more so people could care about and understand the war better. LMAOOO when you put Empire Strikes Back at #2 I was wondering what #1 could be since it seemed like you ranked everything else. So when you said the Holiday Special I actually thought you were serious and were gonna troll us by actually making it #1. Would've been funny.
Holiday special is goated
I can’t wrap my head around the fact that Rise of Skywalker isn’t the lowest rated piece of Star Wars media on IMDB
1:24 watch the rest of Visions, then you have the right to rank it
Luke coming to save the day at the end of Mandalorian season 2 was one of the greatest moments of all time :)
Lightsabers bounce off armor since 1980, in empire strikes back, when Luke fights Vader
Put Bad Batch and Rebels above Attack of rhe Clones and I'd agree.
Currently, Ahsoka is ranking pretty high with the first 2 episodes

I’m glad you enjoyed the video 😃
AS an OG Star Wars fan who saw "Star Wars" (not "A New Hope" but "Star Wars") in the theater when it was first released, to rank anything above Empire is criminal. CW is great, but Empire is on a completely different level.

@natalieportmanfan1817i know
I appreciate the listing.
When I saw the clone wars at 17, my heart sank I until I realized it was the movie
“I only watched like two episodes of this two season anthology, but it wasn’t that bad or that good”
You literally don’t know
Many L-Takes here, Resistance especially, but at least you did Solo justice, so there's that.

I’ve watched it like 10 times and I’m still not bored of it, revenge of the sixth, too
Yeah ROTJ could’ve been lower in my opinion. It was fine, and a good conclusion, but a bit boring. I’d definitely take A New Hope over it.

You defiantly hit a home run describing the Mandolorian. I've never, being a lifelong fan seen anything bring people into Star Wars that normally would think it's lame. Also I appreciate the clone wars as your #1, it sucks a lot of people because of the animation think it's for kids and don't give it a chance when it is such a great show if you love Star Wars.

Just wanted to let you know to avoid disappointment, Andor and the Bad Batch are only receiving one more season each :(
That’s a shame
Remember boba fett the last Jedi and Kenobi are non cannon
With bad batch I can live with it being a 3 season show as I felt even the first two had a bit too many filler episodes for my taste so I‘m ok with them bringing the story to a close without dragging it out.
Andor on the other hand would have deserved at least 3-4 seasons. I just hope having only 2 seasons won’t result in rushed pacing while still telling the story it has to tell

Episode II should have been 3 hours long. Its underrated and just needed more so people could care about and understand the war better. I think If we see some of the Jedi who are shown getting killed during order 66 in Ep 3 on mission during the clone wars would have been a great help. They were basically dropped in there to die. Also, the Separatists should have been explained more.
