although Obi-Wan show was bad I can't tell you how much more I screamed at the acolyte for breaking timeline continuity, ignoring the plagueis novel, changing kyber crystal bleeding, cortosis being overused, and Osha and Mae not being able to pick a side to save their lives. Plus it was the Wish version of TPM.
If anything, it ties in nicely to the Plagueis novel. I haven't seen the show but I've seen the clip of Plagueis hiding in a cave, which compliments the opening chapter of the book with Tenebrous and Plagueis in the cave together, considering The Acolyte happens in 132 BBY, and the novel happens in 67 BBY. Also, I recommend watching the Patterson cut if you haven't already because not only does it turn the series into a movie but edits and subsequently fixes alot of problems you and Eli probably have with the series.
Andor is an easy S+. Honestly with Nostalgia glasses off, I don't think Clone Wars is actually S-tier, it's so inconsistent and kinda dumb repeatedly. But I'm a bit extreme there, it's A. It does its job great which is be a children-to-young-adult's show. But it pulls its punch and backs off of actually portraying any complexity and abandons killing Ahsoka, which was needed for the story. I am going to be pretty transgressive and say: If you removed Episode 3 from Acolyte, it's a C-D tier. It's not honestly that bad. It's cute, it does a lot I like. TBH its biggest issue is the May/Osha are straight up not interesting characters who feel like they were not portrayed particularly well, I dunno if its the inconsistent director, the actor, or the writing, but they just don't sell it. But I may also have Tynnan Bias. Master Sol's *absolutely wonderful* portrayal saves it from any F-tier for me, though. It's bad. But its inoffensively bad. It should not even have had an episode 3 as it brought no value to the series that wasn't better covered later. It also needed to not pretend it was a mystery every episode. But my actual biggest loser of Star Wars TV series' is.... The lost Live Action segments of the Droids and Ewoks Power Hou--no WTF of course not. I think Its Book of Boba Fett. Kenobi wasn't good, it was awful. It was actually stupid. But it at least was enjoyable in that 'this is a dumb TV special I could see in the 80s' sort of way. It would be regarded as noncanon by the fans no matter what Lucas said, or 'dubiously canon' and that'd be it. Book of Boba Fett misunderstands every character, ruins a story that was already told better, damages every series around it, damages itself, kills any impact the New Republic era had, and retroactively made the entire overarching plot of debatably the two best star wars seasons of a show ever prior to it build up to something completely and wholly stupid.
Actually, Ki Adi Mundi and the other Jedi thought it was a dark Jedi. They had no knowledge of the Sith’s continued existence. Still a bad show though, I just wanted to set the record straight.
Yeah people's "problem" with the Acolyte is always completely misunderstood and just shows how alot of people went into the show to dislike it. It gave us cool characters like Baylan Skoll and Marrok (though the inquisitor's development was very short, I liked seeing him get destroyed by Ahsoka). I'm more of a REBELS fan than a clone wars fan, so it's not the Anakin episode saving it for me, it's actually the ending. The fight in the Nightsister's tower reminded me of the Old Republic, Thrawn was fairly well portrayed (his tactical genius isn't well enough done in REBELS either), and I loved the scene where Ezra picks up the comlink and pretends to be an Imperial. Classic Ezra move.

Bro I remember the days of waking up early on weekends so i could binge watch like 7 episodes of clone wars, probably one of my most favorite shows ever
Honestly kenobi is by far the worst to me It is single handedly the most disappointing piece of media i have ever seen It fundamentally i think on literally every level, with tons of plot holes, breaks in canon, awful villains, extremely rushed pacing, and a completely wrong focus on what the plot should have been
Definitely agree with Andor and Clone Wars being the best. Haven't watched most of the F tier stuff. Maybe an episode or two and then just couldn't do it.
Sabine has canonically trained with Ashoka in the past, before the Ashoka show. She’s not “just picking up” the force. The kill power of lightsabers is stupid, I agree, but I also think that the whole live action rebels cast was pretty good.
Solid picks. I hope we get more stuff like Clone Wars and Andor and (first season) Mandalorian. I think that people ascribe too much malice towards Dave Filoni for not doing as well in S2 and definitely S3. I simply think his work shines best when its with competent writers writing in a long-form cartoon series like Clone Wars that had a lot more time to flesh out ideas and character arcs.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi show had such promise and potential to be absolutely phenomenal. If they would have gone the route of the Legends book "Kenobi" by John Jackson Miller, it would have been INCREDIBLE!
The book of Boba Fett was such a frustrating watch, knowing how cool his character was in ROJ you were just waiting for him to start doing cool shit and taking 5 guys down at once. I think F tier is a bit harsh, although the show wasn't that good it wasn't as bad the The Acolyte, the show was very good once the Mandelorian showed up and done all the things you were expecting Boba Fett to do.
I pretty much agree with the list. Overall i enjoyed the ahsoka show but hated what they did with sabine. Obi wan i enjoyed because this is not the same obi wan we saw in revenge of the sith. Basically 10 years had passed. I do agree that the lighting sequence and camera angles could have been better. Reva should have died. However it was explained that the grand inquisitor has 2 stomachs. Book of boba fett had potenial with the tusken raider arc but then gave up and became mandaloroan season 2.5. Overall well done and very much agree with the list
W list. I’d personally put Kenobi in D simply for the finale, and I think BoBF deserves more credit. Episodes 1, 2, 5, and 6 were all far too good to be in F, despite some pretty awful moments. Should be in C imo. But hey, to each their own. Overall, good list 🤝
I am about to finish The Bad Batch for the 4th time. It is becoming my favorite series. I have no tolerance for the kid shows. I liked some shows that other people didn't. I very much like Kenobi despite some logical flaws. This show is vastly underrated by most people. I'm not saying that it is perfect, but there is much to like in the series. I feel the exact same way about Ahsoka. The Acolyte is even more flawed but still barely entertaining nonetheless.
For me the best Star wars series are the first two seasons of The Mandalorian. I literally cried of joy when Luke appeared in the last episode. One of the best Star Wars moments of my life. Clone Wars and Andor are excellent too. I liked the first 7 episodes of Ashoka, the last one was awful. I agree than Kenobi and specially The acolyte are trash.
Agree with your S and F tiers. In between... not so much. And even if Clone Wars is a better Star Wars Show, Andor is the best show. Think about it: this a show you can share with non-SW fans, and they can and probably will love it. It is that good. Also I think you're a litlle hard on Ahsoka: that show has a lot going for it. It is not S-tier, obviously (with less Sabine and more Baylan, I think it could have been) but it'not bad either.I can't be the only one eager to see the next season, can I?
I will say, the Grand Inquisitor being stabbed by Reva and living makes more sense than Sabine being stabbed by Shin does. This is because Pau'ans have 2 stomachs, meaning they could definitely survive being stabbed through one of them if given proper care
I've heard that take before, and honestly I'm cool with it. But the vast majority of fans don't know that about Pau'ans, so if that's what Disney was going for, we could've gotten an explanation within the show. If they can't do that, then don't bother trying to "kill" the Grand Inquisitor.
''barris randomly flips to the light side'' he says as an entire episode before was dedicated to the cruelty of the empire and how she didnt agree with it. As if you didnt pay attention while watching Ezra acted different because perhaps he had been missing for about a decade? makes sense
bringing back old characters is not bad the problem is when it relies on just their appearance. look at movies 7,8,9 the majority of the plot is just comes from old characters and the entire premise around those movies is just having those characters exist. Solo is another example where yes it doesn't have the exact actors but relies on young versions of named characters that we know and love. Take the book of Boba Fett with Cade Bane. His entire point of being there was so that they didn't have to develop another character and just played off his old exploits. Then just have him show up for 7 minutes of screen time shoot 7 blaster bolts say something and get stabbed coming from a character that has infiltrated the Jedi temple, kidnapped multiple senators, and defeated some of the best combat Jedi in hand to hand combat. This role could've been filled by any randomly made bounty hunter. But no they go with a known one that's going to instantly strike fear just to have him stabbed and die and not really do anything. Whereas you look at the Mandalorian season 2 with Luke appearing. There was a reason for him to be there and he did something when he was there. The overall screen time was low and they used his appearance to its max effectiveness. Again bringing back old characters is not bad it's just bad when they're only role is to appear.
The worst is the acolyte. I was excited for a show in the high republic era, with different characters, but it's a total mess. From making a small mess in the timeline and the rule of two, to a huge mess with identical characters that nobody cares about, and jedi that just don't get fleshed out at all, it has almost no redeeming qualities outside the fight fight scene in the first episode.
I agree. I think Kenobi is extremely overrated and a very bad show. BoBF is pretty bad aswell. Boba was so badass and awesome in Mando season 2, he is like a complete different character in his own show. Btw I actually enjoyed the Acolyte. Sure it has many bad scenes it gave us the best lightsaber combat since the prequels and it was a fresh and new show about a time before every other media we had before
S+clone wars season4-7 S rebels, mandalorian season 1-2 A Ahsoka,Bad Batch season1 B bad batch season2 C clone wars season 3 D the acolyte(it had its moments and had potential if the story and pacing and writting was tweaked abit then it could have been great and it being set further back in time gives me some hope that we might get a Revan/old republic series one day) E kenobi(i enjoyed the rematch and makes the iconic scene in the old movies even better in my opinion vader thinkimg he finally beat kenobi atlast just for him too deny him the pleasure of finaly besting him but yea it had alot of stupid stuff but it wasnt all bad) F clone wars season 1-2(it was bad and confusing and chaotic not too mention the poor animation it had some moments but it was near impossible too get into) F- book of boba fet(i did not hate it but i was hoping for more action and bad assery and personaly woulda loved too see boosk instead of cad bane) Have not seen andor or tales of the jedi yet but it will probably be up in the top tiers by the looks of it
i think the sabine thing would have been fine if they over-emphasized her mando training beyond the abysmal low force ability. even the robot said so many times that she sucked as a force user, so really buff her combat mando skills. also make the injury a little worse than a 3 day bed rest. bacta tank, recuperation, et al. not just a flesh wound acolyte COULD have been decent. some great fight scenes interrupted by idiotic detective drivel and weird acting choices. i liked jecki though & the sith guy (though obvious) was pretty cool
My favorite is the clone wars that was my life from ages 8 to 11. I think the fives ark the crell ark and the last 4 episodes of the show were probably the most inspirational tv of my childhood. My worst favorite yep I’m going to say it young Jedi adventures why is it canon. The acolyte I thought was pretty good but left me with so many questions so when than canceled season 2 I crashed out. Shout out to my dad because when I was 9 he made me watch all Star Wars in order all of it.
Will way though that Super battle Droid running in Mando season 3 is one of my favorite parts of the show Also they're fuckin terrifying imagine a droideka that could jump or something in canon
Book of boba is overheated. He's literally the main character why do you want him to act like a background character. He's literally trying to be like jango who was the most respected and feared bounty hunter Only bad part about the show was the lame moped gang
For me Boba Fett is easily the worst Obi wan and Ahsoka are the definition of mid tier And rebels is the absolute best. Like a lot of people who grew up with clone wars, rebels was my childhood
Rebels got better when clone wars came back. That show had a lot of hate mainly because it was the show that canceled the clone wars. Boba Fett and ahsoka are exactly where they need to be.
@ I have yet to actually see Andor however most people would go as far to claim that Andor is better than both clone wars and rebels… I disagree with this, but at the same time I can’t say much without having ever seen it
Not gonna lie, up until 4:12 I agrred 100% with you (except for Mandalorian S2, that's a bit lower than S1). BB was not a fun show for me. Definitively a D tier in my books. And Andor, honestly I don't know how people enjoyed it.
@@MasterrEli Slow.. so very slow. A bunch of stories here and there to show that the empire is vewy evil (yes, we get it, we saw the movies. The empire are the bad guys). what do you mean 😂
Bro I remember the days of waking up early on weekends so i could binge watch like 7 episodes of clone wars, probably one of my most favorite shows ever
Great ranking. For me, Ashoka is C, it has flaws, but i like seeing the characters from Rebels.
Good video
Honestly kenobi is by far the worst to me
It is single handedly the most disappointing piece of media i have ever seen
It fundamentally i think on literally every level, with tons of plot holes, breaks in canon, awful villains, extremely rushed pacing, and a completely wrong focus on what the plot should have been
Definitely agree with Andor and Clone Wars being the best. Haven't watched most of the F tier stuff. Maybe an episode or two and then just couldn't do it.
unfortunately, I did sit through all of that garbage. So you can trust me at least that far 😂
The ones I watched
8. Andor
7. Kenobi
6. Boba Fett
5. Mandalorian
4. Acolyte
3. Ahsoka
2. Clone Wars
1. Bad Batch
S Andor
A
B
C Mandalorian, Clone Wars (2003)
D Clone Wars (2008), Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi
F Rebels
The rest I haven't seen and I never will.
Never rank again 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
never let bro cook again
@@RoBotOnd What's the matter? Can't handle someone disliking your favourite shit show?
The book of Boba Fett was such a frustrating watch, knowing how cool his character was in ROJ you were just waiting for him to start doing cool shit and taking 5 guys down at once. I think F tier is a bit harsh, although the show wasn't that good it wasn't as bad the The Acolyte, the show was very good once the Mandelorian showed up and done all the things you were expecting Boba Fett to do.
I think because of how different each one is, visions should be ranked by each individual episode. But at the same time that would take up 18 spots.
Yeah, there was definitely some inconsistency there. Also, I didn't watch the entire show, so there's that too 😅
Probably the most accurate list I’ve seen.
thanks! glad you agree
ONE WAY OUT!!!
The clone wars was so good it got a reboot to finish the canceled season
Was on watch streak lately andor>rogue one>ep4 and oh boy that was epic, waiting for andor s2
I appreciate your opinion brother but I'm just happy to watch anything star wars
If they can't do that, then don't bother trying to "kill" the Grand Inquisitor.
me just happy that my wish for clone wars to get s+ because that was my first thought when i saw this
let's go boys he's back
The Clone Wars grew darker throughout the series
"there's nothing wrong with this series, except that it's 2D animation"
In the wise words of a very wise mandalorian: *Failure.*
Honestly Disney should keep on doing what they did for the acolyte fight scenes Because those are so good (minus the talking)
Love the thumbnail it’s the perfect representation of Disney Lucasfilm at the moment had good stuff and progressively got worst over the years.
Andor was straight fire
Great list. For me though, Andor would have come out on top. Can't wait for season 2.
if andor season 2 is as good or better than szn 1, I'll definitely have to agree with your take
Andor and clone wars is such a hard choice
''barris randomly flips to the light side'' he says as an entire episode before was dedicated to the cruelty of the empire and how she didnt agree with it. As if you didnt pay attention while watching
Ezra acted different because perhaps he had been missing for about a decade? makes sense
Andor uber alles
Acolyte is leagues worse than Kenobi. Final few episodes were so fun to watch.
Clone Wars: S Tier
Rest: F
I 100% agree that The Clone Wars is the best TV series.
So, why is bringing back old characters a bad thing? You’re acting like if I saw Fives and Echo friends again I would be upset.
bringing back old characters is not bad the problem is when it relies on just their appearance. look at movies 7,8,9 the majority of the plot is just comes from old characters and the entire premise around those movies is just having those characters exist.
Fives is dead, remember?
I completely agree w your opinions, well except for Ahsoka, I enjoyed that one a bit more than you.
at first i´ve watched mandalorian season 1 and 2, then book of boba fett. and then i cancelled my disney+ sub and stopped completely
Kenobi is massively overhated
The worst is the acolyte. I was excited for a show in the high republic era, with different characters, but it's a total mess. From making a small mess in the timeline and the rule of two, to a huge mess with identical characters that nobody cares about, and jedi that just don't get fleshed out at all, it has almost no redeeming qualities outside the fight fight scene in the first episode.
Mando in s tier after this last season?!?!
Luke coming back guaranteed Mandalorian S1-S2 made S tier.
I enjoyed ahsoka on a be tier level. The antagonists were very good
I agree. I think Kenobi is extremely overrated and a very bad show. BoBF is pretty bad aswell. Boba was so badass and awesome in Mando season 2, he is like a complete different character in his own show.
Btw I actually enjoyed the Acolyte. Sure it has many bad scenes it gave us the best lightsaber combat since the prequels and it was a fresh and new show about a time before every other media we had before
S+clone wars season4-7
S rebels,mandalorian season 1-2
A Ahsoka,Bad Batch season1
B bad batch season2
C clone wars season 3
D the acolyte(it had its moments and had potential if the story and pacing and writting was tweaked abit then it could have been great and it being set further back in time gives me some hope that we might get a Revan/old republic series one day)
E kenobi(i enjoyed the rematch and makes the iconic scene in the old movies even better in my opinion vader thinkimg he finally beat kenobi atlast just for him too deny him the pleasure of finaly besting him but yea it had alot of stupid stuff but it wasnt all bad)
F clone wars season 1-2(it was bad and confusing and chaotic not too mention the poor animation it had some moments but it was near impossible too get into)
F- book of boba fet(i did not hate it but i was hoping for more action and bad assery and personaly woulda loved too see boosk instead of cad bane)
Have not seen andor or tales of the jedi yet but it will probably be up in the top tiers by the looks of it
i think the sabine thing would have been fine if they over-emphasized her mando training beyond the abysmal low force ability. even the robot said so many times that she sucked as a force user, so really buff her combat mando skills. also make the injury a little worse than a 3 day bed rest. bacta tank, recuperation, et al. not just a flesh wound
acolyte COULD have been decent. some great fight scenes interrupted by idiotic detective drivel and weird acting choices. i liked jecki though & the sith guy (though obvious) was pretty cool
Tales of the Jedi is my favorite!
Will way though that Super battle Droid running in Mando season 3 is one of my favorite parts of the show
Also they're fuckin terrifying imagine a droideka that could jump or something in canon
the mandolorians a solid c tier
Book of boba is overheated. He's literally the main character why do you want him to act like a background character. He's literally trying to be like jango who was the most respected and feared bounty hunter
Only bad part about the show was the lame moped gang
Star wars visions. we cant have a foreign show in a star wars galaxy.
6:57 6:56 that's very important;-)
For me Boba Fett is easily the worst
Obi wan and Ahsoka are the definition of mid tier
And rebels is the absolute best. Like a lot of people who grew up with clone wars, rebels was my childhood
Rebels got better when clone wars came back. That show had a lot of hate mainly because it was the show that canceled the clone wars. Boba Fett and ahsoka are exactly where they need to be.
Rebels is better than Andor
@ I have yet to actually see Andor however most people would go as far to claim that Andor is better than both clone wars and rebels… I disagree with this, but at the same time I can’t say much without having ever seen it
@@Trailbreaker3966 Andor has some good episodes but it's definitely not my favorite Star Wars show
rebels in b is a crime
clone wars is the only right answer for S+
“Star Wars: Acolyte” is one of the worst show I have ever seen!……
I think Rebels could be higher. It was Nice and fun
Kenobi was SICK. But I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE obi wan so 🤷♂️😅
Rebels was so horrible only reason why it was even watchable was returning characters and even they could'nt save the show
Not gonna lie, up until 4:12 I agrred 100% with you (except for Mandalorian S2, that's a bit lower than S1).
BB was not a fun show for me. Definitively a D tier in my books.
And Andor, honestly I don't know how people enjoyed it.
hey, to each his own 🤷♂️ what did you dislike about andor?
@@MasterrEli Slow.. so very slow. A bunch of stories here and there to show that the empire is vewy evil (yes, we get it, we saw the movies. The empire are the bad guys). And honestly, didn't feel like it was Star Wars (not talking about big battles and lightsabers and stuff, just in general it doesn't feel like we're in the SW universe).
@@SpartanOli Yeah it is a beautiful and really well put together series but it doesn't feel like it is Star Wars, I don't know why but still it feels too distant
Boba fett i belive to be a bit higher definitely not s tier but The episode of how he escapes the sarlacc and everything i thought was really cool.
the mandolorian was excellent!
