    Hi Stephanie, I have used these for at least 8/10 years and they are Really good! Ulta has them on sale at least once or twice a year for half off. Love them!

      I can't believe I'm just discovering them! 😘How often do you use them?

    • @beverlysaylor7339

      @@StephanieMarie I know! I'm just glad you found them! I use them once a week....always have. And I Do peel a bit from them even after all this time. I wouldn't necessarily say I have sensitive skin but at my age 65 it's definitely thinner than it use to be....that goes for hair too! Lol!
      Anyway, I wouldn't ever be without them. Good for you that you can use them twice a week! I can Definitely see a smoothing difference on your skin and also looks very pretty. Just wished that weren't so expensive....but definitely worth it and I won't be without them!

    Wow; I can definitely see a difference in smoothness and brightness on your skin; it looks great. Coincidentally, I have been looking for something to help with my aging hands and have even considered a professional treatment. I’ll have to look into this. If it works on the face and also the hands, that’s a nice bonus! 👍🥰

    I bought this peel because of you and your review. I have to say I am beyond thrilled about the peel and I am using some of their products they gave me as a bonus. It’s like night and day. Amazing results. Thank you so much for all your reviews. But this one is a game changer at the age of 52. Completely has changed my texture.

    I have extreme sensitive skin and have been using this (the one in the bottle not the pads) for almost a year. I do not even leave it on for 1min, it just burns too much. What I found even better was use it in the shower. I wash my face and then with that bit of water on my face and hands, I then apply the acid and let it sit for a bit. (and I do take it over my eyes and under eyes as well neck)
    I found this works better

    I was going to order Dr. Gross’ similar peel at a much more expensive price-BUT you’ve convinced me to try this! I’m getting more product for less $, and I believe YOU, so I just ordered. I won’t bother with uploading pics, but am excited to do the six weeks on my face & hands. I’m 55 and don’t suffer from any major problems, but do have some texture spots and have been searching for more than my Pixie Glycolic Tonic... I tried Maelove with so-so results. I’ll be curious how this compares. Will LUK. Thanks for your experimentation-we appreciate it, and trust your opinion. And, it’s just in time for Summer-when I really hope to wear next to no foundation (and lots of sunscreen!) I used to live in Lafayette, but now am in dry, dry Denver (with strong sun ☀️) Hope this product does for me what it did for you. If so, I’ll continue with it combined w/ mineral sunscreen 👍🏼 Thanks Stephanie 💚🌻

    I'm a little afraid of glycolic acid. I have super dry skin and sensitive skin. I stick to lactics. Is this a really aggressive peels? Congrats on the sponsorship! 💜

    • @kelleykirk8798
      @kelleykirk8798 5 років тому +1

      Tara Leckelt no! My skin has never liked glycolic and I’ve always stuck to lactic. I worried at first and it did tingle the first few times but not horribly. The pads really worked nicely. I was surprised,

      I've always been the same as you until the past few years when I've found a few glycolics that work for me. I have SUPER sensitive skin and rosacea. That's why I talked about being a bit scared at first. It was great for my skin.

      @StephanieMarie  5 років тому +2

      Hi! I'm looking at both ingredient lists and see very different ingredients, aside from the Gycolid acid and glycerin? I haven't tried the ordinary's because I had such a bad reaction to their buffet and nearly every review with sensitive skin seems to say they're very harsh for their skin type. So I got scared off. 😳I do love DE Sukari Baby Facial also but this goes further than it does for me.

    Oooh I’m excited to try this. I have sensitive skin too and have tried different “pad” peels that either didn’t work or they dried me out so badly I couldn’t stand it. I’m 51 and have very textured skin. Not sure if you have any problems with blackheads? If yes, did you see any improvement in that area? Thanks so much for the review Stephanie, your skin really does look great! 👍🏻😊

    Glycolic peels are amazing! I actually started with both these & the Murad vitamin c peel wipes...I really liked both. Ulta usually has these in their 21 days of beauty sales. Now, I do full fledged acid peels at home. I guess you could consider these the “gateway peel”. 😂

    FYI: Just tried the link. Went to check out, the website wouldn't let me get past the review page. I had to call the customer service number (which the girl was really nice) to place my order. Also the code STEPHANIE didn't work, the rep used MYAHAPEEL. I was able to get two samples that were tagged onto the Performance Peel, plus free shipping and 3 additional samples (as the order was over $75.00). The rep said they didn't know anything about Stephanie's code. Maybe the offer and code are too new??? Anyway, looking forward to trying it out.

    • @StephanieMarie
      @StephanieMarie  5 років тому +1

      Thank you! Peels like this and acids in general like glycolic, mandelic and lactic, etc help with cell turnover. They slough off dead cells and leave you with smoother, less textured skin and with clearer pores. They also help lessen the look of dull skin. Glycolic peels can also stimulate our body's natural collagen production under the surface of the skin which helps plump the skin from underneath, which will help smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time. 😘

    Ok so I’ve never tried exuviance products but when I went to a local spa, more than a year ago mind you, I bought a reusable deep hydration mask.
    “Natragel” -deep hydration soft gel mask
    You clean you’re face and lay it on your face 10-20 min and then after you rinse it in warm water. About $45
    It was that a bargain. I’ve kept it in my fridge in it’s mild plate and resealable bag. I use it once a week or more if I’m going ame where. Boy I tell ya it plumps my skin right up. Like I said I’ve had it over a year and it’s just now starting to tear. But I figure if I even if I bought a $1 sheet lash every week I’d still have paid less.
    And did I mention it works? Lol.

      @StephanieMarie  5 років тому +1

      I didn't stop using my regular retinol products but don't use retin-a specifically. I didn't use any other treatment products on nights when I did the peel. For retin-a specifically, I would ask your dermatologist about using it with a clinical-type peel or email Exuviance customer service since they've been involved with peels for so long. I'm sure they've come across that question! 😘

      Your skin has to be perfectly dry to use the Ordinary's peeling solution. Any track of water will make your face burn. Wash, wait several minutes and then try it. I usually was my face when I get home and then use the peel later before bed.

      I literally said it was in partnership with Exiviance at :04 seconds, right after I did the greeting. It’s my second sentence. You can’t get any closer to the beginning than that. 🤣 Watching more closely before making a comment like this would be cool the next time you feel the urge since most of us are transparent up front.

    Has anyone compared these to the Dr Dennis Gross 2 step AHA/BHA peel pads?

      If I am not mistaken, Elle Leary talks about this on her video on this same challenge.

      Stephanie Marie I used them and loved the results. But if this works just as well, I’d love to try it!
