@@Yougotthisboogetem they used a higher than recommended dose of the chemical :(
I do glycolic acid peels on myself. I’ve been using these products from a company called PHBeautiful, for years. They are more on the strong side, but they have different levels. They’re very effective.
If I’m already Microneedling (Dr Pen M8) and using an RF device (Amiro S2) would I benefit anything additional doing a chemical peel?
I feel its STUPID to put fragrance in a heavy peel product. Why risk the possibility for contact dermatitis?
You guys should do an updated video on how to remove blackheads.
Would you recommend the at home peels like you can buy online like 10% BHA
I use a 10% BHA and my skin has completely transformed. I did go through a week of slight purging though
I just made my own with salicylic acid and propylene glycol (wayyy cheaper than the little bottles you get and it works the same)
@@katiepeter8794 thank you!

How do you use this if you are using tretinoin? I can’t use it 4 days a week if i use tretinoin twice a week
Thanks for the video! Can you do one on skin tightening/lifting home devices like TriPollar, medicube or amiro?
Those Derm docs. They’re so handsome!!
I’d love to know what you think about Biologique Recherche Lotion P50, especially 1970 which has phenol in it…? Says they can be used daily. Would really like your wisdom on that and how safe it is. Absolutely adore your videos and guidance as always!❤
What kind of peel is good for neck and chest lines? I once had obaji and it itched and ended up scarring
If these are injury reactions: does that mean you basically make your face a giant scar? And with microneedling?
Please do an episode on how to get rid of eczema scars for skin of colour.
This has yellow 5 in it 😬 - I’ve read it’s really bad to ingest but is it damaging when applied topically?
Best options for face lifting without surgery please??
Does a medium peel get rid of melasma or does it just make it look spotty
I had several chemical peels at my dermatologists office for my dark spots und hyperpigmentation. We did several treatments with increasing percentages every other week so my skin has time to calm down in between treatments and it did exactly nothing for me. My skin did not even react or peel or flake. Hyperpigmentation also looks the same, no result. I am wondering what they put in that chemical peel because the percentages were quite high…🤔
Do you need to stop Tretonoin? How many days? Thanks.
1-3 days before the peel, about 4 days after, or longer depending on how intensive the peel is. If you still have sheets of skin coming off, don't use the tret until all of that comes off
I just started using the Remedy product for dark spots. Could I do a LOreal peel in the morning and use my Remedy before bed?
Hey, Dr Shaw and Dr Maxfield. Just wondering if you’ve done a review of Geologie Skincare and wondering if you could in the future, I think they’re pretty good but would love to know what yall think.
I just saw this rroduct at Target & I will be trying it out.
Not on every product it says how long to leave the acid on. For example I use Vishy B3 and it is not mentioning it on the instruction sheet.
how often do you suggest?
What treatment would you recommend for rolling scars?
Microneedling
19:00 i feel like for men who want to keep their facial and body hair, chemical peels are the way to go
I've known so many IPL clinicians (esp. Aestis) who easily and conveniently forget the science & i have to tell them to avoid my beard, or even educate them about the chromophores in question
Are chemical peels ok for those w mild melasma?
Excellent product!! ❤
I thought you starting selling Tretinoin but I cannot find a link
Weird question but can these types of peels be done on bikini/intimate area skin for scarring?
Great video ! Could you make a video about IPL ? mistakes etc... I love your content !
Hi can you recommend a skincare routine for tweens/teens please?

How about oil peeling . I have seen it online not sure your thoughts
What about those that have the “acne” rosacea and it’s been calm for several months. Are chemical peels ever a possibility? I’m afraid to try. Papular pustular I believe is what I have.
I would love a video about the Allies of skin brand! They are pretty expensive and i wonder if the ingredients and trials are as good as they say they are😊

Hi Drs. I want to be knowledgeable before an aesthetic consultation for a medium chemical peel, I have IV based on Fitzpatrick with hyperpigmentation and melasma. Could you please made a video for this skin tone/concerns and the questions I should asked, so I make sure to do the treatment with someone that has experience.
Also, what do you think about this in office chemical peel: 7% lactic acid, 7% salicylic acid, 7% resorcinol, and 9% mandelic acid. What is resorcinol? I don’t have scars on my face.
Is this safe to use on my melasma prone skin?
Can you used it on the body?
