Rare Gem. Game on. I'm here for this.
Yes power wash and reveal of the scubbie
Rebel has lots of good parts. Save don't crush.
DarkHorse26238 I would never crush
They sell aftermarket floors and parts for the AMC even a new top so it would be worth saving especially being AMC convertibles are rare AMC made a lot of hard tops and sedans but they made very few convertibles
Terry Harrison people have commented that it might actually be a hardtop with a cutoff roof. Therefore if it is I’ll have my fun with it but if it is actually a rare convertible I will take care of it. Need to check though - will post updates!
Possibly a 343 V8?
That is a 1969 Rebel. It has a 69 grill and dash. Convertibles were not available in 69. The top was cut off. If it was an SST Rebel. They made just over 5,400 of them.
I like the goats
An Ambassador would be something unique at a car show. I'm here for that!
Gonna fix it up one day
There’s supposedly only 20 amc rebel sat convertables
Thank u for sharing!
where are you finding all these gems??? what state are you located??
harleyguyinmilw after 4 years of outwardly expressing my addiction for cars people begin to know me as the car guy, so, when I moved to Oregon this June one of my buddies connected me with his old friend - noah - where all of these barn finds are. However, they aren’t his but belong to a guy who pays rent to “store” them there... well, payed rent. So coincidentally he stopped paying when I met noah so I’ve convinced him to start letting me give them the love they need and hopefully it’ll end up with Noah owning them, me buying and fixing a few, and maybe even the guy losing a finger or something in return.
This is becoming one of my favorite channels, keep up the good work.
Definitely need more goats in your videos
Monkey’s Business love you, thank you
This video has EVERYTHING. Old cars, goats, gardening, a llama and a Subaru.
What's not to like?
Does the boat have a V- 8
Theodore DuGranrut no idea, I think it’s actually a V-16
Price of scrap on the 69 bird ain’t no way he’s doing that.
Would love to see vids on the Subaru and the firebird!
That suburu is sick
Yeet
yeet
That is a nice AMC even in that condition. Hell, I've seen Graveyard Carz restoring cars that were in WORSE shape! She's definetely salvagable... it'd be a challenge but yeah.
Tricky Ricky Cars And Shit first priorities are the 240z, cougar, and Subaru, then we should get to the amc later. Graveyard cars is actually 2 hours south of me!
@@elcaminokyle6561 Of course, I didn't forget.
Tricky Ricky Cars And Shit just because something can be saved doesnt mean it’s worth it. Yes it is cool to keep history alive but unless there is sentimental value you could easily end up putting upwards of 40-50 thousand to save a $20000 car. After seeing the floors I’d bet the frame and suspension are gone as well. I don’t even want to imagine what the bill from graveyard cars. Some cars are just meant to be parts cars
@@nickgrillo4830 Yeah no shit you could use it as a parts car.
Tricky Ricky Cars And Shit that was exactly my point you had mentioned restoring and the value just isn’t there. It makes zero sense to bring this car back
That Datsun for sale
Perry Beckwith working on getting the cars into our ownership so it might be in the next few weeks or months, located in Oregon. New video in the next 2 or 3 days that’ll show its damage more in depth so look for that if you’re interested.
I have never seen a convertible Rebel or any convertible AMC's. They have all been hardtop cars. Roadkill it with stop signs for the floors...
open highway productions well, later found out that it might be a can of worms convertible - chop top car. Might flex seal the interior;)
Yep, still watching. Such a shame. Is the frame still good? A good way to start the new year! Revive the Datsun and Sub, as that would be awesome. Love the goats too
Hi
Hey bud
Bud?
The old Z cars have an integral frame and floor pan. If the floor pan is Rusted, most likely the frame rails are too. I know they used to make complete replacements for them and they weren't too outrageous.
Corey Adams I will do some research
Keep keep them coming back for more.
what editing software do you use?
Final Cut Pro x
That Coors Light lamp is worth some money. That's an old light.
Cool and pretty rare car.
Where is it and how much?

damn do that AMC a solid and make it run again I love LOve Love those old Rebels
just pull it out
Christmas trees look like a Charlie Brown tree. Is there a plan to do something with any of these cars? Good times, keep up the good work. What goes around comes around.
Rocketman appreciate you stopping in for every video. I just want to give some love to the cars because they haven’t had any for 22 years, either clean them up, preserve them correctly, or get them driving. Send me a text sometime:)
Coors Light sign is more valuable than Subaru...
Joe Schlotthauer name one thing that you’d have over beer related accessories? I’ll wait. Nothing.
@@elcaminokyle6561
45 year old dishwasher..
Red head, half naked, wearing stilettos, and can run a mean vacuum cleaner...
Joe Schlotthauer I love you

I know, everyone duz, I just say what everyone is thinking, but afraid to say....
Good video. I might suggest you reconsider whether or not that AMC can be saved. Many cars in worse shape are profitably saved. That is an uncommon make/model. Cheers.
It’s reached. Crusher time
Kyle
Luke
Good job on your video by the way what year are those goats
That Ramble Rebel isn't a real convertible, It's a two door hardtop that someone cut the roof off of! If you look behind the back seat there's no top well for the top to fold down into! That's still a good parts car though! Dig the Jeep out and get the others out of the barn, They might be some good ones to get running!
Danny Casler oh my gosh you’re right!
I was wondering why I saw speaker cutouts and a rear deck on a convertible. AMC was low budget, but not that low!
The convertible does not seem to be factory. The roof was cut off, Right?
stan smith technically not my car - someone left them on the property 22 years ago. Another person commented the same thing and I looked into it only to find very few convertibles produced in that year. So yes, probably a can of worms for the roof
AMC didn't make a Rebel convertible, that's probably a homie hack job.
NZ Salt Flats Racer yep, found that out. Even better.
@@elcaminokyle6561 In 2020, everything from 1968 is cooler than shit! Somebody needs to save it's sole.
@@nzsaltflatsracer8054 AMC did make a convertible. In 67 and 68 they made Rebel and Ambassador convertibles. I own a 67 Ambassador convertible.
@@brianseeley7376 I stand corrected, I knew there was an Ambassador but didn't know there was a Rebel softy!
Cut the Jeep out...
Good to finally see the subaru in a video!
Please save the REBEL AND THE JEEP to heck with the 2 jdm ricers you talked about in the beginning of the video
Leonard Walters hahahah, alright I’ll get to the rebel in the next few weeks and make a video
@@elcaminokyle6561 the motors available for 1968 to 1969 rebels were the 290 ,343 ,and the 390 c.i.d if it's stock the transmission should Borg Warner 35 hopefully it might have the M-13 guts in it
Leonard Walters good to know, thanks!
Convertible;
I'd take a firehose to it,
Let it dry out,
Burn it,
Then take a firehose to it...
Vert not many built
Kyle....no need to bellow into your phone...its mic is far more sensitive than you realize...
G Clark Bloomfield will invest in a mic soon
@@elcaminokyle6561 ...hey Kyle ...no need, your phone mic is perfectly fine, it's YOU who can turn down YOUR volume...
Hell yeah cut it out.
