Hi Rob! Great to see you at good old Scafell Pike, love it up there! Was one of rhe first mountains I ever climbed about 16 years ago and got me hooked. I was going to camp up there again last Monday at Mickledore after the scree climb or just off to the other side as I havent done that on this channel yet, but was going to be cloud all night so went St Sunday Crag instead. Take it you did the Corridor route coming from Seathwaite Farm? Much better route for scenery I think but for time and doing the N3P id do it from Wasdale, such an easy route and much quicker. Tripod - Ulanzi MT-09 or MT-08 depending what camera you got. I use that for everything, brilliant. Great end is awesome hoping to get a winter camp up there 🤙🏻 Glad you mentioned the Scafells being remnants of the volcanic eruption too 👏🏻 Sorry you had no views on the summit though they are fantastic from there. Yh Corridor route 👍 Was thinking if I am doing the N3P even though it is the same mountain with it being a different route it will still be new. It can be really tricking to plan and do things with the weather sometimes tbh I am looking forward to to winter better for the dog and less people! Hope the tripod is ok, I love it and its perfect for me but obviously not everyone likes the same thing.
