Not that I don’t love you the travels you take and the beautiful backstory we get, but today Finn stole the show. Thank you for all you do and sharing the world with us. Stay safe and God’s blessings to you.
Finn has so many mannerisms that remind me of my old jrt in his younger years. He's gone now and my heart still aches for him.. your girl made me smile as she made the memories of him come flooding back, so thank you 😊
OMG! Go to time stamp 15:58, pause the video and continue playback at 0.25x. Pause it at 15:59, there is absolutely something stood right next to your tent, you were not imagining it 👻
Could have been another hiker (a very tall one) who was as freaked out as he was, and did a runner. But you can definitely see a figure right next to the tent.
I love to see your dog and I enjoy every video with Finn. Long time ago I have also a Parson Russel Terrier named Maxi. He was my best friend and I believe, that he is still waiting for me on the other end off the rainbow-bridge..... R.I.P. Maxi. Excuse my bad english, I'm german.
I'd be more afraid of the living than the dead. I had a JRT girl for 18 yrs. I lost her 3 yrs ago. I used to watch your videos & cry because Finn reminded me of her ❤. Now I have another JRT/Parsons Russell terrier. I don't cry anymore. I love watching you & Finn. My ancestors were from Scotland ❤ Beautiful scenery ❤
Idk but Finn appeared to be staring in the direction of the tent 🫣🤔 It probably was a good thing that she wasn’t too bothered by the something enough to growl or bark. Then it would definitely been spare underpants sprint back to the van 😂 she definitely is the best girl 🐶
First time have seen this guy. But gotta say the dog steals the show for me. Better than seeing any ghostly marching army. Such a cool little character.
Glad you survived, the Glen Rothay was known to be haunted which when lived there in the 1970s was sceptical about until the last night there which was terrifying.
A few weeks ago, I was walking along a small cut through about 7am and saw a young lad go behind a tree, clear as day. I walked past a bit dubiously as it was quite dark still but he wasn’t behind the tree, or up it and there was no gate in the fence that runs alongside the lane that he could have gone into. Very odd!
Hiker: This haunted hill doesn't feel the least bit scary. Haunted Hill: Hold my cairn! Ghost gadgie instead of a ghost army but good setup and production. 😉
Wow so much work goes into your videos just want to thank you what a fantastic scenery nice to your lovely dog playing, love how you explain everything too keep up your work love it 👍👍👍yeah she the best dog bless
Summer eve, spooks and skylarks. Classic combo. 🙂 And of course she’s the best and most darling little dog in the world! Fantastic video, and great stress-reliever, as always - thanks. ❤️
That scared me! I don't know how you slept at all. My hat is off to you, Dear. I love your videos and photography. Keep up the great videos. God Bless!
I am inclined to believe that the figure is the materialisation of a Spirit of a Fell walker, who had returned to visit the area and happened to be seen by the tent - keep an open mind people; from someone (aqed 72), who films and investigates the paranormal, for many years now.
Excellent vid!! Love it - very relaxing - the sound of skylarks is the background noise to where I live on the West Pennine Moors. I can empathise with your sense of unease - been there once. I've been out at all times of night, and in many isolated places on my own and I've never really been spooked... except for one night when I was doing some astro stuff at Kichrist on Skye a couple of years back. I was in the old graveyard behind the ruined church and had just set up around 11pm in Autumn - the Milky Way looked magnificent! I'd done a couple of LE's for the foreground of the comp' image, and was just about to rattle off a series of MW images for stacking to do the sky, when a very disturbing grunt-come-howl was emitted from the forest beyond the graveyard wall, and not just the once either, and it seemed to be getting louder (closer). I'm a big bloke, and can handle myself, but this really, really unsettled me and then my mind started playing tricks. I just couldn't focus on the job at hand so I ended up packing up and going back to the car. Difficult to describe the sense of relief when I closed the car door and started the engine - and this is from somebody who lives in a house dating from the mid-1700s that has a ghost in it, and I'm used to things going bump in the night and objects moving inexplicably. Thinking back, and being logical about it, it had to be a stag roaming around the forest, but at the time my mind wasn't convinced.
A 'cairn', which is basically a pile of stones, was often used to mark the site of a burial mound. I suspect that he was effectively camped next to a grave yard! 👻
Not when on a summit. Cairns have been used to mark burial grounds but these are generally at lower elevations and are huge, like a building. When at a summit, they are small summit markers. No graveyard where he camped 👍
Great video, there is always something haunting about being in the fells at night. Never done this fell before so your commentary was really useful as always.
I just love ur dog Finn, she's so happy & so playful! Here in Alaska we really love our dogs too. There a major part of dog mushing in winter. I don't like to see dogs used for sport & money. It disturbs me. Our dog is purely for love & companionship. She's old now, 15, so we basically live to make her days the best ever. 1st time watcher, thanks for a great vid w/ beautiful scenery!!! 😊
Haven't watched the entire video yet but just wanted to say that your dog is just the cutest little ball of fluff. How much fun is she having with that ball bless her?
Hi Glenn, cracking video as always. Maybe it was the Ghost of legendary tennis player Fred Perry come for his ball back that young Finneus nicked.🤣🤣 Thank you as always for sharing your nights adventure with us. Cheers Dave 😀⛰🥾🏴
Another great video. Whatever that was, and there does seem to be something at 15:59, would have freaked me out too. As an expat Brit I love to hear the sound of the skylarks.
Recently subscribed. Into my 4th of your videos. It's great finding a content creator and then randomly selecting videos to watch. Watching you and Finn makes me thing of Tintin and Snowy 😉
Finn is adorable. I have short Jack Russells. They are awesome and are working service dogs. One is mine and one is my husband’s. Love them. Very smart breed.
Absolutely terriffic channel. I do a lot of camping mostly bushcraft and solo wild camping, have a big interest in the supernatural so combining these two..fab! Brilliant views! Good pup..great camp..you have earned a new subscriber :)

It's not the dead we should be afraid of but the living!! Looked a great place to see the day break 👌 now what we all need our lives is a cute little Finnmeister 🐶🐕 is. their a cuter little pupster ❤❤ great vlog Glenn🎉
When you were unzipping the tent to make sure nobody was inside, I suddenly suspected that this was a prank vid and someone was going to jump out and scare me to death! 🤣 Great vid. I Love Finn! ❤️
There’s definitely a figure stood near your tent! 😮. Weird or what! Love Finn, her mannerisms are so like my Jack Russell terrier, Scampi’s. They’re such fun little dogs.
Sometimes when we have read stories our imagination can play tricks especially when you have no artificial light. It can feel terrifying I am sure Finn would have let you know dogs are so sensitive. Loved your video and the blog 😁
As the saying goes, some things are real whether you believe in them or not. You can't see the wind but you know it's there. Thank you for another awesome video. It's been a stressful day but the combo of your soothing scenery and watching that gorgeous little girl has more than melted it away.

Love watching your vidros, very relaxing after a stressful day at work. Pretty scary moment seeing someone by your tent!! You are braver thsn me, I think I might have run back to the car. Love the dog and yes, definately the best dog EVER.

We camped next to a Roman road in a secluded part of the Peak District some years ago . My two companions where awoke early hours of the morning to hear feet marching along the Roman road for about 15 minutes. They couldn’t bring themselves to look to see what the marching sound was and lay silently til the noise ended . Me I was fast asleep and never heard a thing which I regret to this day . Was it a Phantom Roman Legion , all three of us will never know ?
Some bloke has the same thing happen in his basement. His house in build on where an old Roman road existed. He once heard the sound of a whole legion marching through, horses and everything, apparently even saw them.
An army of horseflies is something truly terrible, have you thought about a camp on Ben Macdhui in Scotland, you might catch sight of the famous Big Grey Man of Ben MacDhui between the shelter stone and summit i think is where he has been seen over many years, interesting video, all the best.
Ive got a video on souther fell aswell although short and no talking, the place looks eerie with the grey skies and snowcapped bannerdale. On the video you hear the wind pick up but not the sound of loads of fast paced steps going past the tent as in a load of people running. Strange place but lovely fell.
Yes, Finn is the best dog ever🥰 I wonder what she's actually thinking when she gets that look on her face like she's having a deep thought. I can't believe there was a real spirit by your tent. I wonder why anyone would stick around that long after passing. I hope I never find out the hard way. Lol. By the way, over here watching the show from Indiana, USA. I like the cotton flowers. I've never seen anything like them in real life. Reminds me of faerie pictures from old 1950s story books.❤
Glenn. I watched this last year when you posted the vid. I didn't see anything then but I realise I was looking in the wrong place. Having watched it again as it popped up on my feed again this year there is definitely a tall dark figure right next to the tent. That would have totally caused me to bab myself. That is very very freaky.
Do you see what I see? After analysing the footage I'm now convinced there was somebody or something there! 😱

I just couldn't stop watching Finn the whole video, waiting for the ball to be thrown 😅 Such a gorgeous camping companion and so well behaved!
Yeah specially at 3:05 thinking it was play time lol.

This is wonderful!! What a stunner of a location!
Finn is such a beauty!
Honestly, it's made my day!
Pack up a bit of tent, throw ball for Finn - Really enjoyed that!!!
Brush grass back up before descent - HEROIC.
Keep up the good work! :D X
Definitely looks like a figure by your tent but Finn would have reacted if someone was there. Great channel

That's a false equivalance sir. You can observe the wind and verify it's existence. So far, the same cannot be said for ghosts.
@@ljones2087Have you considered that it's perhaps we don't yet have the technology to see ghosts & not that they do not exist.
