"Safety car is out, gives the drivers and myself a chance to catch our bre...OH MY GOD THERE'S CONTACT AGAIN AT THE BACK!!" So much for that breath haha
They needed four attempts to run that race, the first three all ended in red flags pretty quickly thanks to at least one guy going off at a very bad time
no, you don't need any qualifications to volunteer as a race marshal, any training is provided either pre season or before the racing begins at the start of a day. If you are interested then contact one of your local meeting organisers or check out their websites and follow the marshals link, MSVR run club meetings on all tracks in the UK but own Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Oulton Park and Cadwell park, they offer taster days where you can get a full on post experience and then decide if you want to invest in the equipment and begin life as a marshal
Sherif710 I'm really sry but this is unrespectfully to take a person away with such things from his/their future job! What would you make if someone says that with Tom Pryce to you?PESSIMIST!
All those WTCC drivers in the second last race that crashed while under the safety car should have been banned from the next race. absolutely unacceptable to be driving like that under safety car/full track yellows. The drivers know full well that there are probably marshals on the track.
I like how the red car on the right side of the track at 14:40 is like, "alright, I'm not waiting around anymore. I'm going to finish this race with only THREE wheels!" OMG! Hahaha
+babarfirasat There were large pieces of debris on the track, and visibility was very low, therefore it was far too hazardous for race cars to be on the track.
Good clips, and as a marshal myself, (Scotland), it’s not good seeing crashes, but we won’t learn if they don’t. Good to know all riders and drivers are ok. I was marshalling BTCC back in 2018 at Brands Hatch on post 22. First ever time at Brands and was made welcome by everyone. Hope to see you all soon either south of border or up in bonnie Scotland.
David Avalos im Not sure, but I think it's like this: Green Flag: Everything ok. Yellow Flag: No overtaking Blue Flag: Let faster guys overtake Red Flag: Race is Interrupted or ended Black Flag: you r disqualified
A red flag indicated a severe, or very dangerous incident on track. It means that the race is stopped immediately and, depending on the series, means cars must come to a complete stop, or make their way very slowly back to the pitlane. A quick rundown of the flags most commonly used are: Green: Resume/Start racing Yellow: Incident ahead, single file, no overtaking (depending on series, it also means to fall in behind the safety car - See NASCAR/Indycar on ovals) Red: Race is stopped Blue: Cars on the lead lap are coming to overtake you, yield to them Black w/orange circle: Mechanical failure, return to the pit Black and white: Driver warning Black: Penalty (or disqualification in FIA regulated events) Black with white cross: Driver is no longer being scored White: Final lap (in the USA) End of practice (European/FIA events)
Also, in the next clip 9:53 amazing that ALMS raced at such a shitty track. Tire barriers in the middle of the track on a crowded restart where, on that track, it is it is maximum 2-3 wide? No wonder that happened.
no, not at all unforgivable (at 15:00). why on earth? what is the reason for doing a race on a course like that ?? and somewhere in the video i saw one course with road islands and dividers in the middle of the track.
The british superstock 600 red flag at around 6:30. One of my very best friends was in that race, he saw it all happen from just behind the crash, he had a front seat view.
Watching this vid, how many times do cameramen/directors cut away from the action when something happens! If I went to watch a race I wouldn't turn around and look at the sky everytime someone overtook or crashed!!!
EuroSport HD appears to be the channel of choice when it comes to auto racing. I know my US cable provider Suddenlink doesn't carry this one. CBS Sports is about the best for European racing only second to NBCSN which carries Formula1 and GP2.
Have just started marshalling but have done one event at snetterton, otherwise yes, just Brands Hatch. I'd like to visit as many tracks as possible though
Who are these guys that have the job of race boss. I have never seen these scenes before and am able to tell it needs a red flag after few seconds. What are they waiting for when the road it full of wrecks.
hands up is the sign of "i am slow", they lifted their hand to warn the following drivers and show the ones infront that they saw the SC signs (=> that they dont crash into them)
It's simple; every driver who crashes while under that yellow flag ("Safety Car") should be heavily fined and lose two starting positions the next race. The "Red Flag" drivers fines should be doubled what the S.C. violating drivers got and lose four positions. I know, I know, there's probably drivers who had stopped in time but were pushed into crashed cars. Those will need to be looked at, case by case.
Ginneta Supercup Red Flag 2 Laps before the end of the race? And the cars are off the track too, can someone explain this to me? In F1 if the car crashes of the track theres only a yellow flag. if the accident happens on the track and the cars are still on track then is red flag, please correct me if im wrong.
I would like to point out that in the first racebike crash, the red flag was being displayed to the field by the next corner. Very quick reaction by the race direction.
@ the ende : The slow intervention of the types of the security in Macau is INADMISSIBLE ... They look at each other but do nothing except to wave their yellow flags whereas 2 cars are in bulk on a portion of the circuit already close ... Which bands of 'unable anyway !!!
Please don't let there be music
Please don't let there be music
Oh thank God, there's no music
Edward Cullen i
Edward Cull
suddenly, darude-sandstorm drops randomly :v
It's called Volume Control! Use it.
Im2CuteSoSueMe it’s called leaving the original sound in the video (commentary)
The WTCC at Macau was simply ridiculous. As the commentator said: that's unforgivable.
It’s like video game racers all got a chance to race real cars.
14:34 Oh boys you know you're behind the safety car
Several of those drivers need to lose their rides for that. Pathetic.
Vivek Mishra ikr that is just wrong
I like how you change the color of the series and track to yellow then red in time with the flags in the video ^^
"Safety car is out, gives the drivers and myself a chance to catch our bre...OH MY GOD THERE'S CONTACT AGAIN AT THE BACK!!" So much for that breath haha
Monza Re-Re-Start lmao
They needed four attempts to run that race, the first three all ended in red flags pretty quickly thanks to at least one guy going off at a very bad time
That dude who dive bombed in the inside cracked me up :D
☻☻☻☻☻☻
14:29 wins the award for most camp sounding announcer ever!
the macau pileup was just silly, it wasnt even racing it was just bad driving
daliksheppy ping pong
6:16 I never thought id see the day when a bike SUPLEXED its own driver!
That bike would make such a fine Judoka
"What's he doing that for? it's his fault!" I couldn't help but crack up at that! XD
Totally correct though... the guy falls, causes a mass accident, and complains after.
do you need any qualifications to become a marshal at a race like the last one that was filmed?
no, you don't need any qualifications to volunteer as a race marshal, any training is provided either pre season or before the racing begins at the start of a day. If you are interested then contact one of your local meeting organisers or check out their websites and follow the marshals link, MSVR run club meetings on all tracks in the UK but own Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Oulton Park and Cadwell park, they offer taster days where you can get a full on post experience and then decide if you want to invest in the equipment and begin life as a marshal
cool thanks, it seems like a great experience to get close to the races
NotSoEpicOne Search Tom Pryce fatal accident. That might make you change your mind.
Sherif710 I'm really sry but this is unrespectfully to take a person away with such things from his/their future job! What would you make if someone says that with Tom Pryce to you?PESSIMIST!
Sherif710

Just from the next race? They should be stripped of their licenses and banned of all race tracks for the rest of their lives …
So how many tries does that MotoGP race at the beginning get before they say "screw it--we're going home."
The Macau one is such a chaos. its like multiplayer online racing games and those "people" keep speeding even doe it's a bloody safety car.
10:39 WTF why are there These tires in the middle of the track??
+matthy31 I think it's a chicane they don't bother with at the start because it's impossible to get two rows of cars through it.
The Macau crash still has me falling out of my seat laughing my ass off.
4:30 meanwhile in other games, 20 second penalty.
In the first clip (0:25), what exactly does it mean when a rider puts up their left hand?
It means they drive slow.
They're acknowledging the red flag.
all those clips looks like the 70% of online public servers race starts in assetto corsa omg
And in Forza 6 at turn 1
Kalamede Forza and Pcars 1 and 2
LOL "into the wall goes David Wall" 2:19
5:05 So much for taking that breath :/
I like how the red car on the right side of the track at 14:40 is like, "alright, I'm not waiting around anymore. I'm going to finish this race with only THREE wheels!" OMG! Hahaha
What is the series of cars at 9:09? They look pretty wild
firefighterduck2 yeah i wonder
Gotta love the announcers at 11:18
Man on the first red flag in GP spun out himself blames it on people behind him lol!
+Jorge Os I watched that 5 times since.. I was so confused
the only thing i can think of is he's complaining about oil or something slippery
Just watch from 13:28 until 15:05 the drivers are 100% oblivious about the saftey car in front of them, it's funny!
14:50 - the disappointment in his voice is epic!
Wow, I want to be a Marshall, too! You know just chilling with my friends, taking a video from a special place under a tree. That's awesome!!!
"and into the wall goes david wall!"
5:05
I just LOVE how the announcer reacts to this XD
I just loved the commentator's comment on the last smash on the last WTCC footage!!
8:00 that guy at the back would be me playing an f1 game
"Uhhhh... Where the hell am i supposed to go from here..."
BobyTheDragon I think he stalled his car, and couldn’t start back up.
6:16 dude was on hanging off his bike. Weird crash.
7.18 lmao hes just chilling on the back tire i cant stop laughing XD
he say: I don't want sit there...
Never laughed so hard at any motorsport video ever
Thank you for being a track marshal.
@10:40, why is there a tire barrier in the middle of the race track? Seems like something from Mario cart, not ALMS.
I used to marshal and the trucks at donington we’re always fun to watch.
Great video.
man i remember that crash in Baltimore like it was yesterday. I was right there along the fence watching it happen. good stuff.
OH BOYS YOU KNOW YOU'RE BEHIND THE SAFETY CAR!!!
Other than a fire, when else is a red flag shown? At 4:11, only two cars crashed but the red flag was shown....why?
+babarfirasat There were large pieces of debris on the track, and visibility was very low, therefore it was far too hazardous for race cars to be on the track.
+Joshua Williams ok thanks
The Turismo Carretera, what's the spec's on those? never seen those kinda race cars
Hope to see you all soon either south of border or up in bonnie Scotland.
what does red flag mean? is it like you get kicked from the race?? sorry just got into racing
David Avalos im Not sure, but I think it's like this:
Green Flag: Everything ok.
Yellow Flag: No overtaking
Blue Flag: Let faster guys overtake
Red Flag: Race is Interrupted or ended
Black Flag: you r disqualified

its here guys! Episode 3! featuring a 2014 crash! what is it? click here to find out ----> Motorsport crashes - The Best Red Flag Crashes 3
thanks for being a marshal without people like you racing wouldnt be possible
Matertron94 dude is this your idea of videos that are good? HELL NO CAUSE PEOPLE COULD OF DIED SO YOUR A STUPID IDOIT THIS IS NOT FUNNY IDIOT
At 8:32, I like how they are so calm, moving their head like, "Nothing to see here" 😂
In motorcycle racing, do the drivers put their knees down to balance in the turns?
Some of those WTCC guys need to learn what a bloody yellow flag means...
the last one to pile in was very unacceptable..I mean the red flag was already out and everything...do they have radios in that series?
Great video dude!
Nice vids, interesting view of marshalls perspective at the end :)
Smashing video! :D
Appreciate the first person view on the trucks
Thank you! I'd like to make more but unfortunately the use of phones during a race event whilst marshalling is prohibited understandably.
thanks for the bonus my friend!
who is the race announcer @ 4:34?
Where do you get 240p footages in 2013?
9:09 good thing those few tires were right there... sheesh
I've never really seen an entertaining Ginetta race.
The british superstock 600 red flag at around 6:30. One of my very best friends was in that race, he saw it all happen from just behind the crash, he had a front seat view.
Great vid man, cheers for the upload!
Nice vid man I was at that truck race a brands hatch two great day!!!!
Really?!?! where about were you watching from?
Just over the road at druids haha
8:46 that's not a crash, that's just an afternoon traffic jam
The trucks! hahaha; what a hillarious sport, I gotta find more of that...
Nice vid man.
Could you please re-upload the first video in this series as it doesn't work?
08:30 Ericsson!!!! I knew it!
7:13 Scary freaking mess! Hope everyone was ok in that extraordinary mishap.
8:10 this moment is so cool. If i had i picture of it it would be in my room i guess.
thats why xD
***** That's what happends when you lock up your wheels.
That F3 crash at Spa was crazy!
Nice compilation of reds...
Watching this vid, how many times do cameramen/directors cut away from the action when something happens! If I went to watch a race I wouldn't turn around and look at the sky everytime someone overtook or crashed!!!
nice video now i´m going to watch best of truck racing
11:30 WTCC Macau....bunch of rookies or what?!?!?
"Rhowrl" Oh Boooooys you know you behind the Safety Car XD 14:25
what where the guys in the first vid doing with their left hand
Bless the sound, finally real. He, a like and a sub.
EuroSport HD appears to be the channel of choice when it comes to auto racing. I know my US cable provider Suddenlink doesn't carry this one. CBS Sports is about the best for European racing only second to NBCSN which carries Formula1 and GP2.
in the UK there is a channel called Motors TV that shows only motor racing. It's a very good channel
Just after 5:56. Did he say Haribo Starmix?
thanks,,,, good mashup video
Wow amazing races this video is really dangers!!!
Great video complitation
then trucks sound powerful. do you just marshall at brands hatch?
Have just started marshalling but have done one event at snetterton, otherwise yes, just Brands Hatch. I'd like to visit as many tracks as possible though
I have never been to brands but I have been to snetterton, a good circuit
Who are these guys that have the job of race boss. I have never seen these scenes before and am able to tell it needs a red flag after few seconds. What are they waiting for when the road it full of wrecks.
why are they left hands up in first vidio? Is someone can explain to me??
hands up is the sign of "i am slow", they lifted their hand to warn the following drivers and show the ones infront that they saw the SC signs (=> that they dont crash into them)
lol the last vid XD "lets make a 300k race truck that only does 100mph"
14:25 omg XD The guy directing traffic is just like "WTF are you morons doing?"
14:25
It's kinda like when you've screwed something up and people come in, knowing you've screwed it up, and make it worse. :D
It's simple; every driver who crashes while under that yellow flag ("Safety Car") should be heavily fined and lose two starting positions the next race.

12:57 = Bunch of Teenage race drivers. :/
Full screen?
I would like to point out that in the first racebike crash, the red flag was being displayed to the field by the next corner. Very quick reaction by the race direction.
that is a cool shot, inside the hairpin turn 2 of brands hatch.
@ the ende : The slow intervention of the types of the security in Macau is INADMISSIBLE ... They look at each other but do nothing except to wave their yellow flags whereas 2 cars are in bulk on a portion of the circuit already close ... Which bands of 'unable anyway !!!
It needs to be longer
Green flag : Go fast.
Yellow flag : Go faster.
Red flag : Go flat out.
8:00 that guy stalling the engine ahaha
14:22. Yellow flag waving. A few seconds later. Boom.
The 1st one reminds me of playing SBK07 crashing into other riders.
Clearly, "Oooooh!" is part of the universal language. :D
What were the bikers doing with their hands after the crash ?
i think its a signal for the other drivers to drive carefully and slow because there was a crash or somthing
Sometimes if you're in the middle of the pack, you can't see the flags on the side.
