You really saved my life. By watching your videos. I just got my g7. I didn't know I was diabetic until I was watching your videos. My level was 514 when I went to the doctor. I really appreciate you. Emotional right now
Wow, thank you for sharing that. I'm so happy I could be of help
I found out during a hospital stay ❤ it was 500 cuz I was in pain
@@danifroemel5474 yikes, I'm glad you were taken care of

Walking takes both time and energy
Yesterday, I had plenty of time and high bloodbsugar
I decided to treat my high glucose by going to bed.
Thank you for this!
I was wondering where my migraines were coming from. Thanks Christel. Now, I need to work on myself.
All your videos are so informing I have had type 2 for 40+ years now at 63 my sugars are crazy too low or too high so frustrating thanks for all the great tips ✌💙🙏
I get sleepy when I am above 180🤷♀️ Great information. Thank you for sharing!❤
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience
Hi ,
From your last videos, it looks like you’ve lost loads of weight, diabetes fools around with your body, hopefully you doing the right thing for yourself,
I myself have lost a load of weight on Metformin….
Thanks for this video I’m currently going through 90% of this, I think I might be back on insulin, my pancreas kicks in and out or on and off, maybe the insulin will kick start my pancreas again fingers crossed 👍🏻
It did before, took 2months…😊
Can you tell me what electrolyte do you use? The sodium is so high in the liquid Iv. And other brands. I’m type 2 diabetic.
Most electrolytes found in these drinks are sodium and potassium so I don’t know how effective a low sodium option is. But this is not my expertise so I’m not sure.
Curious if you've ever experienced dizziness or even vertigo associated with fluctuations in blood sugars?
That is not one of my symptoms but it sounds like a very likely one
I am non diabetes but after eating 3 hour ago but my BG is 114
Another great video. Too bad I didn’t know high blood sugar could increase my heart rate. Could have prevented the pace maker I have. Just kidding, heart was so slow even my cardiologist was concerned.
As a result of wearing a CGM and actually paying attention to what causes what, I have found apple cider vinegar to be very effective in lowering blood sugar. It is awful stuff so I usually mix it with some sugar free soda to help make it tolerable. Just barely does the trick, but the results are worth it.
I get excessive sweating with low glucose levels at night.
Yes, low blood sugar can really make you sweat
I was diagnosed a year ago. And have just accepted it. But I don't understand why we have to prick our fingers every day when you can't do anything about it. Like you can with insulin.
Does that mean you are a type 2 and only taking pills? If so there's a lot you can do to improve your situation. Especially if currently your body still makes plenty of insulin and your high blood sugar is caused by insulin resistance which is usually connected to being overweight.
I understand the frustration, it’s a lot of finger sticks. Self-monitoring can be a good tool if you use it to guide your health choices. For example, if a meal always makes you go high you can consider altering the meal or replacing it with something else. Some doctors also ask for blood sugar logs as it can help inform how they can potentially alter your treatment. But yeah, doing the measurements only really makes a difference if you use them actively and unfortunately maybe doctors fail to train their patients in how to actively use the information
Are the meters you use covered by Medicare.
You use Medicare ?
I know someone using a G7 on medicare, he doesn’t pay anything for them. Of course, I pay for private insurance and the G7 cost me $25 each. Figures right…
@@dingdongdaddy589 hmmm what to do?🤷
I do not use Medicare. You’d have to reach out to your state plan to learn what they’ll cover for you
