- Used a 12v minn kota Endura Max transom trolling motor 40lb thrust , removed the transom bracket, and converted over to bow mount using Minn Kota Edge bow mount bracket. Made the bow mount base out of 3” x 1/8” thick x 20” long aluminum angle. Painted olive green to match. As a bonus I used the transom motor mount as a shallow water anchor mount 👍🏻
Looks nice, but I see it hangs off the side little. can you adjust that so it does not hit docks or other structures in the water?
It swivels on the mount just like every other bow mount motor 👍

Where did you find the edge bracket? I have a transom mount trolling motor I want to convert to bow mount
I used a couple of 3” aluminum angle and cut to length to fit the bow mount bracket.
I bought the edge bow mount on Amazon but I don’t see it there now. Here’s the info

Which shaft size is that trolling motor and how do you feel with that length?
45” length, it gets the job done either if Im fishing standing or sitting on a cooler on the bow deck. Thanks for commenting 👍

Shouldn't the trolling motor be "clocked" to the "centerline" of the bow...???
