With the airplane, strength was only one factor. The biggest reason he couldn’t do anything is because airplanes aren’t built to be supported by a single point. No matter how much force was applied the plane just can’t handle it

If that was the case i think homelander would have atleast tried to slow the plane down. Cause even giving small amounts of force can slow down the crash
Also something I've noticed is that Homelander doesn't have regeneration, when he was bruised he had to mask it with concealer. Whereas when Soldier Boy was cut on the cheek by Butcher's lasers, when he was in the capsule his cut completely healed.
I like the fact that a lot of Supes do have some sort of super strength. Like even most of the low level guys can still chuck a person across the street if they wanted.
I’ve always thought someone like The Flash would have some strength too, which has been shown time and time again. Which is dope to see A-Train pull a train.

For Soldier Boy Payback managed to pull through because they had Novichok. Without it they would have been dead.
The Seven are a more powerful team, if payback can come up with a strategy or weakness in taking down Soldier Boy, then The Seven can as well if they put aside their collective differences.

The Seven alone is not competent enough to figure that out and or attempt to use it on HL with a chance it may K.O him.

Only ones that could do anything is probably A-Train and Maeve. The Deep is worthless, Starlight isn't nearly as powerful, and he already killed BN with one punch. He wasn't trying with Maeve but as soon as he got serious she wasn't much. A-Train could avoid him for a bit but Homelander is probably faster so he's dead. If they could've killed him they would've already
The Seven for years were blinded by fear when working under Homelander and probably thought they weren’t going to be strong enough to take him out as a complete unit and I myself have believed for the longest that they all couldn’t beat him even all at once before Herogasm came out. Seeing Homelander getting trashed by three sups and almost getting killed by them made me throughly rethink my thoughts on the entire Seven taking him out. If three sups were able to have him run away in terror, a full team of powerful sups working together and planning out a well thought out coordinated attack against him would probably overwhelm him.
Deep could drown Homelander (if he needs oxygen) and distract him enough to let others injure him. Deep isn't totally useless. Also he could provide dolphins for therapy afterwards.

With prep team, if they teamed up with coordinated attacks, they could take him out. Most of the team would be killed off before they manage to stop him. Queen Maeve (with serious injuries) and Starlight (plot armor) would likely be the only survivors.

@@SSJBlueVegito Plot armor is when a character is essential to the plot of a story and survives things other characters wouldn’t survive (ex: nearly every fight Batman is in with supervillains and gods). In the show, Starlight is essential to the plot of the story. No matter how strong Homelander is, Starlight would survive the fight.

HL one shots everyone if he doesn't play around. He tore through Black Noir like he was a normal human. He was taking punches from Maeve and sayingv"not now Maeve " from her best hits.
He probably won't take it seriously, considering his belief that his strength is enough to effortlessly beat them, Plus, if this did happen, they would likely have to surprise him like Payback, and I believe it could go their way. Storefront, Mavve, Noir, Starlight, and Deep can hold him down while either Translucent or A Train put the drug on him and knock him out.
Danco should do a Homelander Vs any and all comic book characters. Because it certainly seems that is the only thing that matters here on the channel!

Agreed. The Seven will quickly become The Zero if they try to fight Homelander without some kind of anti Supe weapon. Their only hope is that he holds back with Maeve and (maybe) Stormfront enough for them to eek out some kind of advantage.

Just tossing out that we don't have *proof* that Homelander's lasers are as powerful as Ryan's when it comes to lasering supes like that. The baby rattlesnake is a good analogy, but we don't know if that is the case or if Ryan is just better power-wise and we don't know yet.
If Vaught could mass produce the material Maive's bracers are made of, they would make anyone resistant to Homelander's heat vision, Supe or not.
Which greatly increases the odds of well, making Homelander bleed. And if he bleeds...
We can kill it
We don’t know how heavy Maeve’s bracers are. I mean considering how heavy Soldier Boy’s shield was for Hughie without v-24 I doubt a normal human could lift 1 of Maeve’s bracers let alone wear one. I even think lower level supes like Bluehawk would struggle to throw a meaningful punch.
He one shot literally everyone except Maeve who dies within 5 seconds.
Soldier Boy also threw a human soldier hundreds of feet into the air and he fell on a pole in Nicaragua, though Soldier Boy did use his shield but I don't know how much that factors in.
With prep time and practice the seven beat homelander 10-15 times out of 100. Anything else homelander wins the rest and wins even more when the seven don’t attack with prep time
This is similar to asking about the rest of the justice league vs Superman (major powerhouses like Wonder Woman, Shazam, Captain Atom, Green Lantern(s) and Super Girl (even if not as strong as Superman) and Martian Manhunter working together could definitely take Superman down.
But the 7 do not seem to have many powerhouses that could work together to take down their version of Superman.
Ok,but the better question is if starlight’s skin is almost unbreakable how does she have earrings?
Maeve was able to do so well against Homelander because she is much more skilled than Homelander but Homelander is physically stronger than Maeve. Soldier Boy is the only one whose degree of strength would approach Homelander, I mean he's the second most powerful hero to ever exist.
I’m pretty sure Maeve and SB are actually equal in terms of strength. Maeve made Homelander bleed with only three punches so she might actually edge him out.

Homelander gets bodied by the entire Seven. You people have to realize that despite his incredible superhuman strength, his strength doesn’t match his intelligence. Homelander is pretty stupid and I think he can easily be outsmarted by the other members of the Seven. He might be a little cunning and devious but that won’t be enough to aid him in a fight against 7-8 sups, two of which are nearly as powerful as him.

Nope see that's where I think you're wrong, him not putting his all into the final fight with Maeve was HIS fuck up and he'll always think like that he thinks the rest of the supes are beneath him just like his fight with soilder boy and butcher he thinks they are weaker and he almost is beat but he runs, then the fight with Maeve. Homelanders ego is a really big weakness and I think in a fight that you are trying to describe he would think the same way and it would be his down fall cause he can't counter all of their attacks and with Maeve and stormfront and starlight leading the fight he'd be overwhelmed and killed
He could decapitate Starlight whit ease so she does not count, Stormfront would be butchered whit ONE laser shot, and Maeve CAN indeed hurt him, but if she where to kill him, he would have to literally LET her do that, cause even if she basically just play whit her (has he did on theyr fight) she would still lose, also, Homelander has fought a FAR more dangerous trio than them, that being Soldier Boy, Butcher and Hughie (Although I do admit that Hughie may have been more of a support than an actual factor in the fight as he mainly just puched him, and then teleported rather than straight up confront him)

He was definitely trying against Maeve, just not in the beginning. I don’t know why that even came up. I have a feeling Starlight will be stronger next season and flight will be a common power of hers like in the comics
He was defenitelly avoiding fighting whit her, It was more than obvious for everybody, when she literally fell on the ground he could have just jumped on her and butchered her head with punches, but when she fell he literally just turned around and tried to leave, and this was in the very END of the fight, so ye, he was definetelly not serious, thats also what points to Soldier Boy being more powerfull than Maeve, cause:
Maeve vs Strained Homelander = Homelander Won.

They have a non-zero chance of winning if the team is coordinated and prepared first. Maeve is going to have to carry pretty hard though.
The notion that he wasn't trying is a bit off. You can clearly see the moment in the fight where is attitude changes and he starts trying to AT LEAST maim and incapacitate her. When she made him bleed (for the first time) you can see her gleeful surprise as she realizes she's strong enough to hurt him (she underestimated herself) and you can see his rage as his ego is bruised and he realizes he's vulnerable to somebody. He then immediately attempts his go to move for "kill", firing off heat vision... which fails to damage her before she counters. He then proceeds to eye gouging. Maeve held her own for a solid minute and a half AFTER he got p*ssed and made him bleed a second time so I think her feats stand.
Crucial team up here is probably if Maeve can pin Homelander with help from Stormfront (and maybe Noir) similarly to what Soldier Boy, Butcher, and Hughie did. If they can, then perhaps A Train can get some sufficiently durable and sharp objects and stab Homelander in all his vulnerable spots at top speed (ie. Ears, Nose, and Eyes if he hasn't lit them up), depriving him of his sense.
They have a chance, but it's a testament to Homelander's power that it would take all of them and even then be far from assured that they can do it. Depends if he isn't being tactically smart (ie. He doesn't stick to the sky, kill half the team with heatvision immediately, and abuse blitz speed) and if they are being tactically smart (providing distraction for Maeve and Stormfront to help set up a pin and then helping hold him down while A Train goes collecting)
If you can stand a nuclear explosion I'd say you're pretty DAMN durable.
That feat is an outlier. We’ve never seen him take a nuke to the face.

If his durability can help him withstand nukes, wouldn’t that also mean his attack potency correlates with his durability? He should have the punching power of nukes if he can survive them which is clearly not shown in the show while fighting Queen Maeve and Soldier Boy; he’s only destroying walls and not even the entire building.

Ppl use herogasam as a reason to why homelander couldn't solo the seven but ppl forget Soldier boy is literally the 2nd supe that's been shown on screen which means with out his muscle all of the seven get killed bar maeve buy homelander Lazers. Ryan clearly shows how intense those lazer beams can get. Homelander controls the level of strength of his beams so all he needs to do is release control and obliterate the seven with his heat vision
He was lying about the air plane, he was trying to convince maeve he had to let them die
Atrain could try and speed blitz and homelander but Queen Maeve and Black noir will be the big heavy hitters. Since Black Noir could hide from Homelander and even out run homelander when he was flying. He outsmarted Homelander by making blow up the chemical plant on purpose to cover up his crimes. He may have actually punched out soldier boys teeth from what we see in the cartoon and he beat starlight, kimoko and the super terrorist with little damage. Queen Maeve was close to beating Homelander alone so with Noir and Atrain and a little assistance from starlight. They will beat him with mid-high difficulty depending on how angry and reckless Homelander gets.

Homelander should NOT be able to survive a nuclear explosion. Most versions of the Superman mythos state that he cannot survive (or if he does he gets badly hurt) a nuclear explosion and Homelander should be LESS durable than Superman.

Soldier Boy is absolutely not Homelander's equal. If Homelander turned up his heat vision a few notches to take Butcher out of the fight for longer, Soldier Boy would have had no one to save him from getting his neck snapped.
Besides Homelander was bred for the sole purpose of being superior to Soldier Boy, and unless Vought just straight up failed, superior is exactly what he is.

C4 is Mach 23 and he outpaced it no problem fast enough to save two people who were point blank range which would make him Mach 50-90

So a train is much faster than homelarder and can see him in slow motion and queen maeve and stormfrount and the same strenght but stormfrount has lighting so if queen maeve can go toe to toe with homelarder then so can stormfrount so queen maeve and stormfrount are beating homelarder and A train can punch him and homelander wouldn't be able to do anything about it mybe laser vision but it would be hard for homelander to hit A train since he can run faster than the speed of sound and black noir can go in from.time to time and slash homelander it probably wouldn't pierce his skin but still maybe black noir could try to slash homanders eye take away his vision of maybe just stun him and the deep well no don't onow if he tried to fight homelander he would get immidiatly punched through or lasered to death and starlight well she could try to stun homelander with her light blasts and with all that im 100% sure they could beat homelander but i think the deep , starlight would die if they tried to fight homelarder up close

Danco lost all credibility with me when he gave the win to a Predator over Rambo. If police officer Danny Glover, solider Adrian Brody and Soldier Dutch can beat a predator (not to mention humans who beat predators in the novels and comic books) then Rambo totally wins.
Maeve alone was for the most part evenly matched with homelander. He gets smoked if the others join in as well.
Agreed. I don’t know why people are gassing up Homelander, like we clearly see he’s not as powerful as we made him out to be. He was fearing for his life in Herogasm when facing off against Three Supes(two of which were temporarily enhanced by V24, and a supe who was equal in power to him). Three Supes were able to hold him down and almost kill him; he literally had to flee for his life in order to not get killed by the blast. A full team of powerful sups who have had their powers since birth would easily overwhelm him.
Ya season 3 really nerfed him. Guy went from invincible and no weapon on the planet can stop him, to being stabbed by a straw

Maeves fists were bleeding from hitting homelander and she is by far the strongest what could the other possibly do to him. Like homelander said to black noir and his knifs not being to hurt soldier boy, which is his prefered way of fighting. Homelander could possibly oneshot syormfrontlike ryan did

Maeve can also make Homelander bleed, and she is physically stronger than Stormfront. In the hierarchy of The Seven, Maeve is second to Homelander, then Stormfront, then Black Noir. I'm talking about physical strength, not anything else.
Facts maeve was beaten homelander on her own last episode it made me look at things differently and see homelander isnt all that same when soldierboy beat him up
