It was known since like 2012 or 2013 when Niko 'cheated' on atama no taisou but still nobody fixed when it's SO EASY to fix. The random beatmap database corruptions, random local scores wipes and so on. Not submitting plays bug was fixed only recently when almost every player knew about it. Also the game calculates stars not for all mania converts. It leaves them 0*. In some cases it just causes huge fps drops in menu. Std spinner bugs too when you can get more pts than auto and you get banned for this LOL Do you like constant connection drops on bancho too? You can't even compare bancho to servers in other games. They are loaded way more. And in osu people don't even send that many requests to the server. Don't even need to say about outdated pp systems in modes besides std. About cheaters too. My main mode was ctb and I have friends who play ctb obviously. From what I know you can dl a working ctb cheat even now. Like they don't even bother to do anything with this. Also you could use CE without any detection from anticheat till 2013 as well (people used speedhack in ctb at 1.01-1.05x to fc impossible pixel jump maps) as multiacc or boost someone. The famous one in my main gamemode was ExGon boosting OjekxD. Ask any old player - they will tell you about this. The game is 12 years soon but it's still like in late beta stage. This tells a lot about how much they care. :) If I knew that back then when I started playing I would choose another game for sure.

No everything would look exactly like this if you were to do it with this skin. You're probably just confusing the key images and the bombs. Bombs won't light up unless you hit a note (the blue sparks). Key images light up whenever you press them (the big white and blue rectangles on the bottom). The key images are all lighting up together as i slap my keyboard, and bombs are lighting up whenever a note is hit.
They seriously need to make it so your combo drops when you press when there isn't a note. It wouldn't even really matter, anyways, Mania scoring is horse shit.
Did you bind like one key for all the buttons for this? also this game allows you to hit all the keys and still register like triples and doubles? sorry for not knowing I only play itg @_@
It doesn't penalize you for hitting other keys without notes at the same time like it would in other rhythm games. Also, the scoring gradient is too lenient, resulting in inflated percentages. A 90% in this game would be 80% in many others.
