  • What if I told you that there now exists a Bajaj Pulsar #NS400Z which in terms of riding dynamics and how engaging it is to ride, is just as good if not better than our beloved Triumph Speed 400?! Well we just made one with the intent to unleash its full potential and here's the result! With a few tweaks to the geometry and slapping sticky Eurogrip Protorq Extreme tyres, the NS400Z turned out into a beast of a machine. So whether you are a naysayer or a potential buyer, you don't want to miss out on this!
    Eurogrip Protorq Extreme Tyres used:

Sarge, you did implement the very same changes you suggested. Now you have shown to the whole world, how effective and safe the changes are.
For those who can take this one machine anywhere and everywhere, they know the machine the best.
It's only those kind of people who are good handlers of a bike.
You are one of those who can give the best to the machine & as well take the best out of the machine.
Thanks for the very good work, a real good confidence booster.

I've grown to like Sagar back at his time on Powerdrift, with the original NS200 review.
Times have chaged, our guy has come a long way. Despite riding the big toys, he still appreciates the mass market sport bikes, while his peers like Shumi just grew arrogant with age.
The Karisma or The Pulsar cannot be the fastest Indian anymore and it's not their fault. Indians have more spending power than ever and premium bikes started flowing into our market. I feel the 400z is on the right path for the Pulsar brand. It offers the right performance for the price point.
For the average Indian who will still have only a single bike in his garage, the NS400z makes sense!
Its not gonna be the expensive 400 to maintain so it can be your daily. Its not as heavy as Dominar so you get an edge on city. Its a lot more practical and functional than the powerful Duke 390. The competition is very good at specific things while ns400Z is a jack of all trades. When most Indians can finally afford a more premium bike, they'll probably save up for a car. And this is coming from me- someone who has no plans to buy the new ns, but has extensively driven the Himalayan, Dominar and duke 390.

Nowadays Shumi hates everything Indian manufacturers do. He did not consider how a consumer thinks by which companies have to make products because it is the business what people want is going to sell but he wants everything to be perfect and does not consider the pricing and other factors. I watched the latest videos of his channel and almost all are like this. And one thing he compare every bike with the Duke 390 - an obsession.

We tested the TVS Eurogrip Roadhound and Duratrail tires recently on a Ninja 650, Kawasaki Z900 and Himalayan. These tires offer superb grip and the pricing is also very fair. Superbike riders now have a proper made-in-India tire for the big bikes (Roadhound).

Always a pleasure to watch your ride reviews and this was no exception.
About your comments on the Eurogrips. The Road 5 retains phenomenal performance for a good part of thier life. They can last around 20K, the pair on my Dominar 400 have completed 17K and looking at the tyre wear indicator mark, it might do another 3-4K more. I wonder how long the Eurogrips will last and for how long they maintain their performance.

Love your videos! ❤ In your experience which tyres are the best? The TVS Protorq Extreme or the Apollo Alpha H1?

If we put a full system with ECU flashing, it will be amazing 😍😍😍😍.

With more performance mods maybe a powertronics or fuelx pro plus and freeflow air filter maybe and brake fluid and pad upgrades. This will be a great machine.

Excellent video. Changing my tires is the first thing I do when I get a new Pulsar. My favorites are the Dunlop GT601.
Something else, maybe something you should try is weight reduction? Maybe

Rather than tweaking the suspension of motorcycle, the tyre alone unlocks the true potential of the bike?

Do try to flash and tune the ECU and then compare the results in performance

Hi Sagar. Nice content, to educate the audience about how one can improve the bike from a technical stand point using just small (without breaking the bank) measured tweaks.
We at SQUAD-E have transformed the handling performance of Ninja 300 and Ninja 650 in a similar manner using our (jacking up) Rear Suspension Linkages. We would love you to try our modified bikes (Suspension linkages and good set of tyres) and check out the difference they make to the bikes over the stock setup.
    Regards,
