Six months ago, I had doubts about the Himalayan, but after watching your video, I felt confident in choosing the Triumph Scrambler. Now, with almost 7000 km ridden in and around Bangalore, I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Thanks a lot, man!🤜

@@gokulkishor1369 I got a rear tyre hugger installed. Sure it compromises the looks a bit, but for me it works very well.

@@gokulkishor1369 I didn’t notice this issue, but starting this month, I’ve been struggling with the splash problem too. My friend uses a carbon fiber tire hugger for his Speed 400, and it looks great on his bike. I'm planning to install one as well.

I have probably watched this video a hundred times, easily. Sarge, you’re actually one the few reviewers who can actually ride a motorcycle well, and thus know what you’re talking about. Hell, many other reviewers are probably just parroting your comments! And of course, your videographer REALLY knows what he’s doing; really quality work all adds up to a polished and informative video.
I’ll continue to watch every night until I get my own 400x in April!!

I was not expecting the Triumph Scrambler 400 X to be this serious of a competitor, the fact that Sarge said this bike sets a new benchmark for Himalayan says a lot about its capabilities but as far as access to service centers is concerned ROYAL ENFIELD has them beat as their service centers are everywhere while TRIUMPH needs to increase their service centers to a respectable number at least in the tier-1 cities.
Precise and informative video as always by Sarge. Your reviews are a benchmark for others as you are able to condense passion and information in a short amount of time effectively.

Sarge i'm waiting for your review on the new Himalayan. I feel that next year i'm going to buy one of this two bikes. And i love this one but, it's just a guess, i'm starting to feel that the RE is going to be the superior product. Thanks for your honesty my friend

Really looking forward to ride it later this month. The Himalayan will undoubtedly be more capable offroad but for everything else the scrambler makes for a fantastic option

I really really liked the original Triumph 500 scrambler the best. I always hoped that Triumph would reintroduce that model again. a real scrambler should have the pipes up on the side. but this one is probably as close their going to get.

    Such a well made video!!
4:48 10km/h lesser in top speed is not a problem but the cruising speed getting lower by 10 km/h is a bigger concern. Which mean crusing at 100-110 might stress the engine more.

    What a beauty!
Now there is four contenders in the intermediate dual sport bikes.
    1. Triumph scrambler 400X
    2. Harley Davidson 440X
    3. Royal Enfield's Himalayan 450
    4. Benelli imperial 400
I had to throw the Benelli in and the Janus bikes are smooth also.
    Ride safe.

Nice video brother. Really informative. I am a big fan of the piece of works you have done through UA-cam. You always manage to capture the true essence of any motorcycle you review. Bro, one request. Could you make a video on the feasibilty of a Yamaha Tenere 300. Company already told that if enough demand is there, they are willing to consider making it. Other countries have T7, so it wont be intresting for them. But here in India it could be a gamechanger. Something close to unicorn tier with adequate power and reliabilty. Nothing fancy is needed; just a peoperly tuned R3 engine, comfortable seats for two, good suspension, around 220 mm ground clearance & decent fuel capacity as well as switchable ABS & TC. If it comes under 5L onroad, it will sell like hot cakes. All the big players are trying to get a piece of the Indian adv market with their half-assed products, just like the current trend of so called pseudo SUVs. A proper T3 could set new standards for performance, just like Tata changed safety standards in our country. Influencers like you could raise the voice on behalf of people like me and make the companies roll out amazing products. Peace ✌

With the budget of 7L total. I already bought Himalayan in 2021, now booked this. I don't need big bikes as I'm scared of injury to others on "Indian roads". I need variety of bikes. Next one is Duke 390 or Adv 390. For sports I'll choose Aprilia RS 457 (If came within 5L).
    Happy adventures.
