Took a test ride MAVRICK 440. My height is 5'11. That bike was just comfortable as a couch and it pulls (literally pulls, the showroom guy I requested to sit behind was about to fall off), you will be always in command. City ride is great. I was just blown away and it DOESN'T look small in person at all. A mini hulk in person. SIMPLY AMAZING
@@aroy8731 I believe it's preference. City ride needs this kind of stronger engine braking. I didn't felt it was too strong in my ride. Maybe, it's how I ride as I pickup fast and slow fast as well in my current commuter which happens to be a second hand TVS Wego( my fav of all time moped)
Yes...I own Hero Hunk..... . It's the Best of Hero....till date... Front and Rear are weaker points of Maverick...especially that fuckin g switch gear...
I'm a fan a motorcycles with refinement and good low end torque. So, the under square engine in the Mavrick is a better deal to me atleast on paper. Also, I would like to own a simple motorcycle that doesn't need a liquid cooling. So, I'm more inclined towards the Mavrick. I'm about to test ride both back to back anyway to see how well, the on paper specs translate on to the road.
They did that to make that low of a price. Remember pulsars are only bought cause of the engine. We don't buy them for quality, frames, features, cornering etc.
That is the point... As a Dominar owner.. i want that engine in a lighter package- thats what the NS400 is. Some things could have been avoided like the connected features and all can go for a better aluminium alloy swimgarm. Overall its good.

Both are no doubt super VFM bike , but they both lost on the design.. Hero did a hurry work to release Mavrick without spending on design R&D and Bajaj did a lazy work by just putting Dominar engine in old NS200 bike to keep it's fav Pulsar alive in the race ... clearly visible ..

Not to mention the myriad of upgrades KTM has added with each iteration, while Bajaj has done the bare minimum. The NS definitely deserved more attention and love from em.

In order to improve the bike performance and reduce bike vibration on handlebar or footpeg. In addition to that reduce engine heating and make gearbox shift smooth and precise gearshift. It is important for hero maverick 440 bike users to change the showroom engine oil to premium engine oil like motul 7100 , liquid moly or castrol power 1 ultimate with 15w50 engine oil grade and quantity of 2.5 litre. Do engine oil change after one month of showroom engine oil use to recover the showroom engine oil expense to some extent.
Hey I am mechanical design engineer Ho ahead and buy the bike automobiles are usually designed very well they don't fail very often And each vehicle is tested for 2 3 years at least before releasing in the market

Hero added too many discrete panels on this bike. There is no finesse to the design. Price too could have been better. It's after all a very simple engine.

ns400 more sporty with better topend maveric more cruiserish with better lowend end of test .,for me ns as i like lil more sporty riding than cruiser in fact its one of not many bikes on which i would trade me cb 👍🏻 = better forks geometry weight breaks frame tiressizes = better tir in stock sizes availabel 👌🏻 in fact only engine is weaker 40 vs 57 hp so straight performance jot as good but powerfull enough for me for daily riding at this weight level 👌🏻so consider all pros and cons yea i would trade on it 👍🏻 ☕️
The hottest segment (400 cc) so far, made even hotter with the Guerrilla... Dynamics, hardware and above all pricing... Quite a few factors to consider now for the consumer.

They did that to make that low of a price. Remember pulsars are only bought cause of the engine. We don't buy them for quality, frames, features, cornering etc.
