Another great video. What a gorgeous town; I must visit! Really loved the painting, and you becoming part of it was brilliant! Too bad it was so windy to fly the drone; you still managed to capture great footage. You have such a talent to pair the music with the scenes, it’s truly remarkable. I’m so glad to have found your channel😊Thanks for sharing.
@@DHShields well earned subscription mate, you did a great job showing off this awesome spot of Scotland. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos!
Wir waren im August 2022 am Loch an Eilein... wunderschön dort rund herum durch den Wald zu laufen... es ist einfach traumhaft dort. Sehr zu empfehlen. Danke für das schöne Video
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I'm so happy you liked Loch an Eilein as much as we did and that you enjoyed my wee video 😊 Such a great place. Slàinte Mhath! Derek
We stayed in Kingussie during our visit to Scotland in 2018 and trekked from Loch an Eilein to a tiny loch to the east, towards Loch Morlich and I long to return. The fernweh for Scotland hits me like a ton of bricks when I watch your videos, thank you so very, very much.
Beautiful comment, thank you for this! Sounds like you had an amazing trip and I'm so honoured I can bring back some memories of Scotland for you 😊 Thanks so much for watching and I hope I can continue to inspire you through my wee videos. Cheers to you and thank you for making me smile 😊 Derek

Another great video! It is the little things, the waves lapping, the gravel crunching... All come together perfectly! Hi! From the mountains of West Virginia 😃
Debby is officially on UA-cam 🙌 I had no idea you were in West Virginia, that's amazing! Thank you so much Debby, the little things really are what makes life so beautiful. Cheers to you from Scotland 😊
Dear God Scotland is such a beautiful place, I've been to a few places up North but with the Army, I really need to take a holiday up there to get some drone footage, another great video my friend 👍
Thanks, great video! I am off to Cairngorms on Feb 1st with my daughter. Staying in a hotel in Inverness but plan on 2 days hiking from Aviemore into the national park. Any suggestions on closest parking spots to the hills and munroes please? I am mindful of changing weather and lack of daylight hours, so proximity to the car park will be key. Also, any ideas on best places to see wildlife would be appreciated. Thanks
@@michaelsandeman3521 Oh wow Japan, so very cool! The forest is what's known as a Highland Estate and resides within the largest National Park in the UK called 'Cairngorms National Park' 😊 Thanks for watching!
@@DHShields Thanks for your reply. I'm now thinking of getting a bike-cam and cycling through the local hills and visiting some dams and lakes. Thanks for providing that impetus.
@@michaelsandeman3521 That sounds absolutely beautiful! Best of luck with the video making, I just love putting all the wee clips together over some music 😊 Cheers from Scotland!
Hi William, Aviemore is more than accessible without a car. You could get the train there which gives you access to the main town and all it's facilities (including the steam train). From there it's an hours walk to Rothiemurchus's Loch An Eilein (the loch with the castle). In my video however, the first loch featured (Loch Morlich) would need to be via a bus but if you Google it I believe there is one to Glenmore that would get you there. Hope this helps and thank you for the comment! Wishing you a great trip if you choose Aviemore, we absolutely loved it 😊 Best, Derek
nice video, shame about the wind, must have been hard to paint those trees blowing about hehehe. music choice was a bit dodgy, that guitar was awful hehehe.
I'm pleased you enjoyed the video but sorry you didn't like the original music which was produced by me 🙈 But I guess art is subjective and that's totally okay 😅 Cheers!
@@DHShields yeah i just played around with it, hard to find the chords but a few arpeggios to fil out the chords. early on it goes down to a G i think, and from then on it only goes down to B which leaves the chords sort of uncomfortable?

Beautiful places. The music reminds me of the chorus from the INXS song "One Thing."
Ive never heard that song by INXS & had to look it up! But yes I can hear the similarities, well spotted 😅
