Thank you for this. I love the Cairngorms and you showcased them so well. So beautiful and remote. I feel so much better just watching this. Take care and safe travels ❤❤.
🤦♂️ I’ve seen you in Dalraddy and then Golspie and I’m subbed too! 😮 and I didn’t realise!!! I shut the gate for you at Golspie 😂 xx sorry for not having a better catch up with you lol 😫🙄x going to have a watch now just had to send this message first lol 😝… safe travels! Jp
Haha, hello mate, small world! Where did you head off to after Golspie? We headed north and got to the next town before the road closed for the day, epic snow eh!
@@TheseWildJourneys hi ya lol yeah small world bloody wished I’d known 🤦♂️ we went back to Dalraddy and hid from the storms and they missed us completely! Then to Loch ness then Oban and heading a little southwards now Ayrshire way for some wildlife photography and catch up with some old friends. Glad you’re safe! Maybe we will see each other again sometime lol 😂 x
Sitting watching yourselves at the cairngorms Motorhome park and looking out at the view we realise Frank was having a play across from our van 😂 small world
Lovely video. I'm so jealous of your trip to Scotland in the winter... We went to the Cairngorms in our sprinter last year and loved it. keep the videos coming for those of us stuck in an office all week! Happy travels.
I enjoyed this so much. Loch Tay and north are some of my favorite places, but I’ve never been lucky enough to visit in winter. I’m moving on to your next video. Thank you for the time you take to make these.
So beautiful! It's definitely a different experience up here in winter, less time/not the best weather to hike, but when you do get some crisp blue days, it's so special as its so quiet. Thanks for watching and the kind comments :)!
we spent newyear in the lowlands awesome a lot of people give this area a miss and its a shame Doon was amazing in the frost and ice, vans all sorted for the big one now
Don't know why, but I've never really explored the Cairngorms. I'll have to fix that! Looking forward to your next one as I've spent loads of time in the far north. Love it up there. Also, if you can just do a video of Frank running up and down, I could watch that all day! 😍🤣
Definitely go to the Cairngorms - it's proper beautiful, and a hikers paradise! Although the north coast was equally as beautiful, although you'll see in the next video - we had some interesting weather conditions to contend with! (Frank montage in more snow on its way!)
We travelled the North East 250 between Christmas and New Year. Celebrating Hogmany at Granton on Spey. Simply beautiful scenary along the Snow roads to the isolated coves on the north coast. Can’t wait till our next Scottish trip in Spring. Hope you guys are having an awesome adventure.
Hi. That looks wonderful. We are getting a campervan soon and there's so many places to visit and apps to use. What do you use to decide where you are going to stop and places to visit?
Awesome! Bet you can’t wait! We use a few apps to help with van travels, to find spots to stay the night as well as places to fill up with water and do van services we use Park4Night and Search for sites. And to find hikes etc we use All Trails when we’re in the spots. We also love a good a travel book!

Awesome footage. Love the hikes.
So many more hikes to do! That's the beauty of Scotland :)!
Beautifully shot as always both. We were in Nethybridge for the New Year. Absolutely gorgeous area that we keep going back to.
Sounds like a lovely way to see in the New Year! Beautiful part of the world :)!
What a treat for a Sunday night, I’ve stayed at Glenmore a couple of times but will have a look at Dalraddy
Thanks for watching! It's a good campsite, nice big pitches surrounded by trees and some decent walks nearby. Would recommend!
Beautiful video, just one thing Hawick is pronounced Hoick not Horwick. I lived there for a few years 😊
