- This motorcycle needed a full rebuild, a small low-side broke some engine case threads and also got rocks and debris into the engine. Enjoy this no-music ASMR version of the entire build.

Good job on the Bike mate, no needless talking & no music=good Video 👍
Thought you might like that one a bit better lol
@@mendingmotos lol, but you do make a good Video
Thanks cheers!
That's lot of filming and editing. Nice
Thanks! Yea that camera lives with me lol I do forget a few shots but I try to show everything I can so others can use my videos as reference when working on their bikes.
That was quite a neat job rebuilding the damaged section of the lower crankcase with hi tensile bolts in situ then tig welding round them. I guess they unscrew easy enough from the Alu case afterwards before facing the gasket surface? Very good methodical work with the whole bike.
Thanks and I can’t take credit for the welding, it took me 3 weeks to find someone who could do the job and had experience doing it lol but it turned out perfect. Thanks for watching!
Loved watching all your videos from south India
Thanks! Move bike build coming soon
awesome thank you!! BTW, can anyone recommend a supplier for the pin connectors (the turn indicator lights, seen at 1:30)?
I’ll see what I can find and get back to you
Nice and very interessing job...because i have the same.
Enjoy your revival bike😂.
Thanks keep riding and enjoy that speedy!
Great video, instant sub!
Which camera you're using?
Thanks! It’s the Sony ZV-1 it’s nice to have a smaller camera to put where ever but it can also get nice depth of field making it look nicer than go pro footage.
And ladies and gentlemen this is why you need carter protection 🙂
Never heard of “Carter” lol maybe case protectors lol but yea t-Rex racing makes a great kit the keeps both sides safe!
Hey mate, congrats on this, really nice video with a lot of informations ! Do you mind if I text you on your social about a few questions on your bike, I have the same with a small issue and I feel like the reseller is trying to scam me !
Cheers mate.
Just ask them here in the comments, it will help this video grow with the UA-cam algorithm lol but what issues does that bike have?
@@mendingmotos Hey mate !
Sometimes my bike refuse to use the shifter, no matter how hard or softly I use it, any idea ?
Wow, thanks for this one. I like your way of working, very conscious and precise. Everything around you looks clean, at all times.
Thanks a lot! Although the video doesn’t always show the truth... It’s always a mess. Lol but I do try to keep things as clean as possible!
@@mendingmotos I am always a bit worried when I bring my bike to the shop. It ususally comes back with new scratches and damages. Your way of working is what I would love to see from every mechanic.
@@Amerigo73 Thanks! yea most shops have timed deadlines to get certain jobs done so things do tend to be a little rushed. me on the other hand i have all the time i need lol
Good job.. I'm bout to do the same with my 07. But I'm only replacing the crankshaft since the previous owner messed up the part where crankshaft locks with the flywheel. Now I have to open the bottom end to replace just the crankshaft smh
Aw man well I hope this is a good overview to give you some confidence. Good luck with the rebuild, remember it’s just adult legos lol
@@mendingmotos definitely... I've been watching your videos and they're on point I really appreciate the time and effort to showing how is done.
@@charlypr88Thanks! These bike would be done so quick if I didn’t need to film lol thanks for leaving comments it helps out cheers!
Life pro tip - Fastest, easiest way to safely clean a chain without damaging the o-rings between the links? Brake cleaner. Spray a LITTLE BIT on a towel and turn the rear wheel as you hold the chain with the damp towel. Turn the towel often as it will be filthy almost immediately. No need to remove the chain. Never spray a chain directly with brake cleaner 👌🏻
Oh ya I completely agree. I wanted to take it off just so I could get the plastic guides off as well and clean them and under them lol and that harsh deep cleaning of the chain was to get off years of grime and a bit of rust as you saw. I had plans to swap it for a new one very soon. Cause I had WD-40 on it for a bit and I know that actually can break down the orings. But I will def keep that cleaning routine in mind for the next nasty chain I encounter, cheers!
@@mendingmotos Yup. Contrary to common belief, WD-40 is NOT a lubricant haha. It actually breaks down oils and grease. I LOVE it for non o-ring chains on race bikes after a wash, it displaces all the water and is a great rust preventative - the WD actually stands for “water displacement”. As for lube, I’d give a heavy weight gear oil a go. Bonus if you get a bottle with the cone shaped tip. You can trim it so the hole is small and put it right where you want it. Love your Speed Tripple. Thats my favorite color way for them of all time. Almost bought one but picked up a ‘23 Honda CB1000R Black Edition instead. Long live big bore nakeds! 🍻

Super, też robie odbudowy.

Wie viele Kilometer oder Meilen ist sie gelaufen bis zur Reparatur?
I think it was 7200 miles
@@mendingmotos der Motor sah vom Verschleiß noch sehr gut aus. 🙂 bis auf den Unfallschaden
Very nice
