Great discussion, but strangely missing theory and practical advice on the nervous system. Although there is so much advancement on these topics and they are widely available, unfortunately, these fields still don't seem to connect in many cases. It's not so much about mental resilience, but nervous system resilience, and they are very different things. We can't will or think our way out of nervous system dysregulation.

I would disagree that one can determine a person's mental state based solely on their appearance, as the spirit transcends materialistic science. Neuroscientists often overlook the influence of quantum mechanics, which plays a crucial role in manifestation.
While I do understand the things we feel can have a physical impact, I do agree with you in that it seems like they just end it at that. Something about this rubbed me the wrong way too. If I'm truly in control of my life and stronger than what I'm facing, then what is stress or anxiety? And I know this sounds funny, but let's say I feel those things, they still shouldn't make a dent on me if I don't resonate with those feelings / don't agree with them and generally take care of my health and skin. Not really good at explaining it, lol. But yeah. I also know hot depressed people, so there's that 😂 I also know people I'd call psychopathic who are good looking, so I don't know.

She lost all credibility the moment she linked the rise in the number of Autism diagnoses with screen time. I generally agree with Dr Tara. However, I believe she is incorrect in saying at 1:55 that reading a full newspaper today would be more information than someone received a hundred years ago. That's simply not true. Let's just talk about the USA... It's clear to anyone who studies history of a hundred+ years ago that, although there were times when only wealthy people received a full education, a hundred years ago in the States, even common people were quite well educated. Most people were literate, and the average student was exposed to philosophy, science, religion, history, and chronology, among other subjects. Not only were they receiving lots of information, but the quality of the information far exceeds that of your average school today. I have copies of secondary school exams from 100-150 years ago that would stump even the most intelligent people today. I find the idea that we're so knowledgeable now as opposed to people centuries ago laughable and dishonest.

Well, living in Ukraine I imagine I will now be forever living a very different life with the unusual experience that war is. Unusual for people who never had that experience.
Considering the first diagnosed autistic case was 1938 and the television as media popped around 1920s … saying that media causes attention span is not a strong hypothesis.
If you want to calm down and sleep well, then stop drinking 100% caffeine drinks!
The 51 minute mark, about the skin, WHOA !!!!!!
We are connected to nature because that's how God created us 💜
Talk full of great content. But my fav was : did u look at my stomach ?? 😁😁😁
What about introverts? Are we destined to have a poor immune systems if we are so evolutionarily predisposed to community? I'm perfectly happy with my own company and rarely feel the need to seek out other people. In fact, they drain me, and I need to recharge after being social. Do I get the emotional connection from my cat rather than humans?
Haha ditto!!
I'm happier alone, I feel less sick, less tired etc.

"Words Are Weapons "
I believe her.
The way she actually looked at his stomach, I'm dead 😂
That's interesting about the PTSD and watching disturbing images. I seem to be able to watch the most horrendous things relating to humans and and able to box it off emotionally. It doesn't reall affect me. However, if I watched something with an animal in distress or being killed, it horrifies me and upsets me. How does that work?
So does thyroid celiac , hashimoto's
Diseases .
Neuroscientist ❤
I would disagree that one can determine a person's mental state based solely on their appearance, as the spirit transcends materialistic science. Neuroscientists often overlook the influence of quantum mechanics, which plays a crucial role in manifestation.
I disagree!💓 Outward appearance is an indication of internal thoughts!💓
I don't think she said "based solely", so from my understanding, she probably also understands this is a overgeneralisation
From the way you write I can already tell you don't know what quantum mechanics entails.
@@tombullish3198 enlighten me
This is accurate❤
As far as I know: psychologists and brain scientists don’t believe in resilience. It’s a delulu concept for them
While I do understand the things we feel can have a physical impact, I do agree with you in that it seems like they just end it at that.
This would be a flawless podcast if he didn’t push his product. I pay for no ad UA-cam
Fired by McDonalds for lack of communication skills at age 15... (clearly McDonalds lost BIG TIME instrad of trajnjng a young staff member), now your whole career, successful career at that, is based totally on COMMUNICATION ...I think you've nailed that one young man and have NOTHING to prove communication wise because you have excellent communication skills.
Time stamps or not watching
Bye bye
Can't remember who said it, or what study was it, but im pretty sure human kind is addicted stress. And when life goes easier, they tent to find the sttesssors and get restless if nothing stressful is happening in their life
Is this woman a Buddhist? If not, she is borrowing a lot from it which is wonderful to see!
She is a Hindu but Buddhism is a lot similar to Hinduism as Buddha was born and brought as Hindu during his formative years.
@@Neptunecloud the Buddha was a Shakya Prince. Not a single mention in his whole life of him being 'originally a Hindu'. That theory is an old story made up by Hindus.
I think people goa a lot of information through nature, animals, people - and not only through newspapers….. years ago…
50:16 you forgot animal fats (colesterol, saturated fat, etc...) were you can find the esencial fatty acids
Most people overconsume unhealthy animal fats, so maybe that's why she skipped on that. Most of us need more plant fats (except for the vegan of course)
@@kateginger I don't know what do you mean for "unhealthy animal fats"...are you talking about: suet, tallow, bone marrow, bone broth, fat trimig, ghee, butter, the associated fat that come with meat and fish...there is not any problem with them, because they are mostly saturated fat, Also: yogur, cheese. They are all very healthy and essential fats for the adequate nutrition of the human been
@@kateginger plants fats = fito - esteroids? They are not very healthy and the bioability of them it's very poor, some of them are poliinsaturated = very unstable = inflammation = free radicals = oxidation stress. They confused the metabolism with the colesterol, that comes from animal fats. Colesterol it's essential for: the brain, the cellular membrane, the production of vitamin d together with nitric oxine, the hormones and much more
With language and learning language, my mother spoke no English upto the ages of 5-6 years old. At the age of 40,maybe younger, can no longer speaks her native tongue. She understands some words, but she has totally lost the fluency. I'd be interested to know how this could happen.
Please check her for lesions in the left hemisphere of her brain with an MRI. That part contains the language centres .
How can I get rid of Allergy?
The languages past certain ages have way more to do with the muscles in your mouth and throat than the plasticity of the brain.
Raw _(not rendered)_ animal fat _(tallow)_ is the best fat. It's actually being considered a super food.
A stunning & highly on both sides interactive interview! Thank you!💓
She is incredible, with her knowledge, he is a bit self indulgent and vain
tinestamps!
Every physical part of my mother is beautiful but she has emotional issues. …
This was difficult to enjoy as there was just too many adds. Sorry, 😢. Good luck with Huel

Well that is interesting because I have a perfect skin, but my brain is kinda useless.

You made me laugh- thanks.
Me too
Not useless you need to just do something you really hate to do is that increases your brain size Andrew huberman talk to youberman I'm sure you heard him this podcast and somebody else was just talking about so doing something that's that you enjoy even if it's challenging you enjoy it no benefit so something that you really hate and you make yourself do it I mean he said it's just like if even if you don't want to like fold your clothes something that you really hate you don't you hate vacuuming just make yourself do it and that's good simulation or I'll bring it whatever we have left or begin with
😂😂😂
Makes me laugh we know all this stuff and the sponsor is Huel.
She lost all credibility the moment she linked the rise in the number of Autism diagnoses with screen time. The study showed that increased screen time doesn’t cause Autism, it can however cause increased symptoms. The Autism has to exist in the first place i.e. screen time hasn’t caused Autism, it was a pre-existing condition.
I doubt that Tara gave misinformation !💓 based on her decades (+ decades of training & medical experience!💓
@@user-qu2cx7cd3w She did I'm afraid, and I read the research papers that discredit her comment. Don't assume that just because someone has years of experience, they are right about everything they say with conviction 🙃
You get autism because your parents gut microbiome! Stress from aparenta, what they are and so on lack of carnetine
Whats the basis for diagnosis on the spectrum other than symptoms?
If you think about it, you are dumb. So she’s said something incorrect, that means everything else she said was incorrect? By default, everyone who has ever lived, even the smartest person, has been wrong about stuff. By your logic, nobody has credibility.
I think she is talking about endless supply of content now vs earlier and what it is doing to the brain!
Wow ❤️
I have dry skin... how it's related to brain??
