- The Xbox port of Spider-Man (2002) features 2 Exclusive Kraven The Hunter Levels so I picked up a copy to record! These levels happen just after completing the Mission where Green Goblin plants bombs across the city. Enjoy!
About this game
Loosely based on the movie of the same name featuring Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man. Peter Parker develops superhuman powers after being bitten by a genetically altered spider. After learning that with Great Power comes Great Responsibility, Spider-Man must step up and battle various Villains including The Shocker, The Vulture, and the Green Goblin.

Hi @SpiderBen ! Did you play it on the Xbox or on some emulator for PC? Because I'm trying to play it too and also the graphics here look really good
@@faniumarigliano I use emulators for most of my videos but surprisingly this is on the original xbox!
Well, at least it's only for one cutscene, so dosen't ruin the game.
Apparently it's the same VA as Jameson in the Spider-Man 2 game, honestly Idk if he's any better or worse there.
@@Shift_Salt I feel he was a little better in the Spider-man 2 game. It was acceptable, but again, he's no J.K.Simmons, he's not even an Ed Asner.
Honestly, Kraven’s voice actor put his heart and soul into this.

It's hilarious that this is exclusive for Xbox, since it would be Playstation to become famous to have exclusive content years later.
What a great Hunter! Pulls the trigger when the prey is behind an obstacle and reloads while it runs out in the open. Every. Damn. Time.
Kraven: “Be careful Spider, my marksmanship has no equal.”

I think even Helen Keller could easily make it across that hallway cause of this pattern kraven uses.
2:10 the way he runs is so funny for some reason
If I hadn't replayed it at 0.25x speed, I would have thought they didn't even bother giving him a running animation lmao
IG they didn't animate any upper body leaning/movement because it's such a short shot.
The Kraven in the Marvel's Spiderman 2 for PS5 brought me here.
I searched specifically for this level, having not played it since the 2000s. It was a lot of fun. I was lucky enough to have the Xbox version; I didn't realize it wasn't in other versions.

These two levels are great and awesome. I have the PlayStation 2 version. It’s a shame they didn’t include these levels in the other versions of the game it would have been great to play these levels. 👍❤️😀

I remember this was in my strategy guide as a kid but I had the GameCube version. Man this awesome to experience so many years later. After getting done with a session of playing the new spider man with kraven as the main villain nonetheless.
Takes me back my childhood 😂😂 fun while it lasted never regret playing hours on end on the weekends. I’ll do it all over again ❤
The kraven from the marvel Spider-Man universe would easily kill this kraven. For one thing, that kraven is twice as large, and this kraven fires his sniper even when Spider-Man is behind the pillar.
the soundtrack is so groovy; you gotta love it.
I honestly still wonder why they removed this level in PS2 and maybe PC versions.

He is only the original Xbox version and Gameboy advance. Not the ps2 or gamecube

Kraven the Hunter never been into any Spider-Man movies, except his own since he's one of the best Spider-Man villains in the Marvel Comics, the fourth Spider-Man character in Sony Spider-Man Universe and the third anti-hero of Spider-Man after Venom and Morbius

Even this game has a better motivation for Kraven than SM2 PS5 as he only cares about Spider Man and the challenge of hunting Peter or Miles not their villains.

Well, it is short one but I don't think that we missed out on something with not having this mission available on all platforms. I mean, Kraven will show up in Spider-Man 3 game in much bigger scale, so yeah. That would be enough. Or, if you look in to none movie based games, then Shattered Dimensions mission with Kraven is somewhat similar to this one. Even the rifle dodging scene is there.
Yes, but you miss out on the part where kraven obviously shoots while you are behind pillars.
Why wasn’t this level in the PS2/GameCube Version?
Too bad these missions weren't on PS2. This looks very fun mission.
Breaks up the monotony of the goblin levels and the bomb level and has a break in between to fight kravens maze and kraven! It's so perfect to beat the living shite out of him!!!!!

Wow im 29 years old, got this game when i was about 8 or 9, and im just now learning about the kraven missions because I had ps2. Anyone know why they scrapped it from the other versions?
Either a deal, or a time constraint/limit for PS2, GameCube and PC
yeah it was a deal between microsoft and activison, it wasnt just with spidey it was with other games. thats why we got THPS2x@@alexanderthegreat2002

Trying to play this version of the Spider-Man game is kind of hard. I grew up with a PS2 and I bought an old Xbox just so i can play the kraven level man its tough at first

Man this takes me back. Loved these levels because the trap rooms reminded me of Prince of Persia. This looks really smooth. Did you played on Xbox 360 or did you use XEMU?

The J Jonah Jameson voice sounds EXACTLY like the "WHY ARE YOU CLOSED???" guy.
I have 2 things to say about this special exclusive level and boss fight.
1. I was also surprised back then when i found out that this missing special lvl and cutscene was only exclusive to Xbox, And frankly, Compare to sneaking in to Oscorp Building and escape from it, This lvl was another stressful one in my first experience as it plays more different than any other lvls, Traps, Poisons, The fact you have to reach the end of the lvl while your health bar drains over time was more stressful for me than Oscorp lvl.
2. The time gap about this lvl is so weird, We were fighting Goblin and dealing with his little schemes, Then we are interrupted by Kraven's Hunt against Spiderman hired by Norman and then after we're back on track dealing with Goblin, If anything, This lvl and boss fight should've been directly after the fight with Scorpion.
