Likely intentional, likely not, but you could definitely see it either way. I like the idea that it was intentional, the writers did have passion for this series after all.

Spectacular a 15/16 year old beat Kraven (with and without powers) like a pro. Insomniac Peter whom has 10 years of experience on the other hand got destroyed by a knife stab (even tho he was stabbed 3 times in the first game and had 17 broken bones), needed help from his girlfriend and only managed to fight Kraven on equal levels with the Black suit. Also when Mj carried Peter in the background Harry was destroying Kraven like shit.
I know this is an old spider man plus I still love this spider man before Disney bought marvel, but I never like kraven making spider man an animal and treats like him one that just mess up.
