These are amazing Japanese Food Inventions that are truly from the future. I am always surprised how efficient Japan is and the technology that they come up with to help make food preparation easier, faster and more convenient. Some of these Japan foods are so efficient that what used to take multiple steps to prepare, can be done in one easy step. Let me know which food item was your favorite.

Great job bro yummy 🍱
Will you sign a box for your boy in WNC? Keep killing the game sir.
Honest question, not a criticism: Are instant foods like this in Japan healthier than their counterparts in America? Cuz they look pretty tasty... 🤠 If they are more healthy than American convenience foods, I'M SO JEALOUS! 😂
I love your channel
If you don’t ship your new hot sauce to the Philippines once it comes out I’m unsubscribing 😂
10 Italians passed out after you pronounced Bolognese. Another 24 Italians fell into a coma after you broke the pasta 😂
These comments are cracking me up 😅
Countless died when they saw the color of the spaghetti.
We officialy banned Paolo from entering Italy 🇮🇹.
Someone has to explain, what's wrong with breaking the pasta? I like my spaghetti long, personally, but my mom has been breaking it in half since I was a child, so what's the official argument against it from the Italian standpoint?
I love the banter between Maiko and Paolo 😂 so cute!
🥰
Paolo is always so happy all the time because he's with his best friend and love of his life.
Yes, it is adorable!!❤ Love the new meals even that we don't have it South Africa 😊
italian would be very shocked they could faint when you break those spaghetti noodles 😂😂😂
As an Italian I died the moment he pulled out the sauce packets,I already knew what was going to happen
Mamma mia 🤏@@ffx-icis.19
personally when he said he was gonna microwave it all together i went straight into cardiac arrest
You italians are WEAK! Embrace the future.
No not true, we do it too
As someone who works in the food manufacturing industry, i really look up to Japan for their food innovations be it the product or the packaging. Its so detailed and really solves consumers every day problems in such an elegant and well-rounded way! Even the first one blew my mind! Looked so good! Looking forward to more videos like this!
How healthy is it compared to north american types?
Every Italian at 4:03🤌😰🤌
Not just Italians. It physically hurt. 🤕
I’m convinced someone came from the future to give them these ideas 😂😂😂
Must be Doraemon
@@solasidopenah its nobita
"It takes a long time to cook, between 6 minutes to cook and 6 minutes to steam," perfect amount of time to pick up all that pasta on the floor lol
The US has none of this. I’m continually amazed how quality food at an affordable price makes it sustainable to eat conveniently every day. A century ahead in terms of ingenuity.
The US has been corrupted at the core since 1913 when the Federal Reserve bank was forced onto the Americans.
Blame regulations and rules driving the costs of everything up.
Maybe look at Asian grocery stores. Many of these things are available there
@@nukiesduke6868right no, its definitely not the greedy corporations
I just came back from Japan earlier this month, I had so many inexpensive yummy eats there. Then I came back, paying what I call "highway robbery" prices for food in the US. Freaking depressing.
While restaurants in Japan are always great, but like you can see from this video, there are so many innovative food products in Japan that I could just eat them while I'm staying there. Thanks for another fun video, have a great weekend!
Ive been on a binge of all your content recently, I have a friend who has a friend that lives in japan, and ive recently been thinking about a trip to Japan with my fiance. I love seeing how different things are in japan in terms of food, culture, and so much more. This is a wonderful video, thank you for keeping me entertained.
Dont think, do it. Japan is amazing! I just came back from a 3-week vacation from there.
@@simplyred6995 There always seems to be so much that you can do, and the food always looks amazing. I hope that you get to go back one day :>
Hello from Florida. Love your channel ❤️
This was way more entertaining than I thought it would be!! please make more of these!
It's very common to find those sauce containers in australia. Ususally at the takeaway store you can get tomato sauce, bbq sauce, aioli or tartare sauce
Wow! Someone finally addressed the state of your hair 😂👍 I just call you “Spike”!!! 🤭🤣 JK! 😉🦹🏻♂️
The squeezer packs are an Australian invention.
What is aglioli?
@@ffx-icis.19 a sauce, similar in consistency to mayo, but made from garlic and oil.
brown or red moooooot
Paolo never misses! 🔥
New Zealand here! We’ve had those sauce packets since the 80’s! Love your videos!
That frozen udon bowl would be good as a ramen & pho for a quick meal as well. I would be spending a lot of money on those frozen bowls.
The banter back and forth between you two is ah-mazing! We love it and want nmore of it!!!
Oh my gosh! I just said this too! I agree. The banter is so cute
👅
I think Paolos hair is cool and haven't ever though it was odd at all. Great video as always, keep up the great work :)
The closest thing in the US is some pasta manufacturers sell what they call pot sized spaghetti which is half length.
Hi Paolo! I really enjoy your videos and I had learned a lot about Japan. Definitely planning to visit in the future!
👍
Awesome video as always Paolo. Japan 🇯🇵 has some of the most unique convenient store food options on the planet 🌎
Paolo should have a perm for sure.
NEVARRRRRR!
4:03 You can't do that. Now at least 30 nonnas have fallen into grief because of their shock. 😨😰🤣🤣🤣
Funny how Maiko roasted Paolos hair...I'm still cracking up about Batsumaru.
Looking forward to your new sauce! Kaminari sauce is awesome!
No Italians are involved on the second invention 😂😂
You just gave Italians a heart attack 😂😂
As an Italian,I died the moment the pasta sauces showed up
That was a fun video! Also a perm would look good on you! lol
4:03 Lionfield will have a word with you now.
awesome vid Paolo! I'll be visiting Japan soon and can't wait to spot some of these in the wild!
My favourite saying has always been: Japan has been living in the 2010's since the 1980s, and today, still lives in the 2010's. It's amazing how much things have changed outside Japan in the last 4 decades. Not to discount all the great things they have today, but the wow-factor compared to 30 years ago really is apparent. I remember asking why no one knew how to use a computer (since they did everything on their mobile phones) thinking how it was ridiculous. Here is us today doing pretty much everything on our smartphones, they really were ahead. But today, it feels like there are a few things in Japan that really awes me like before. Show people the instant-heating bento/curry boxes by pulling the string. I thought those were super awesome! Basically a civilian MRE but with way better food!
Hi guys 😀 im always very happy when i receive a notification that you uploaded a new video. BTW i live in Canada, so around here quick microwave meal havent been popular at all for the last 5 years or so. People watch what they eat, as they try to eat healthier and also they try to save as much money as possible since food prices nearly doubled since the covid outbreak a few years back. So we tend to buy stuff on sale, and make a bigger batch and freeze some for later. Even many restaurants had to close due to loss of customers. I look forward to your future videos Paolo🤗
Single serve curry/Hokkaido Stew packets. Just boil water put in 5 minutes, serve on rice. Brilliant.
Thank u😊
Oh, I remember those gyoza packs! I did regularly get the curry in a bag, where you just boil the whole thing and pour it over rice (which you always have in japan). I really miss all the good, easy dinners.
Paolo 'bouta get swatted by the Lionfield guys xD
My Italian wife gasped when you snapped the pasta noodles. Haha
I'm Korean American
Very Nice
Paolo! great video! I bought your Hot Sauce and love it! Its not too hot for American standards, great flavor, I cant wait for your next sauce! Thank you for the videos!
In Japan packed food is consumed regularly that's why it is feasible for the companies to sustain and provide fresh packed food.....in India we have only few items that are available in packed food category - like cup noodles, chicken nuggets, bugger patties and some companies do have other Indian dishes provided as packed food...but I have never tried anyone of these...except for cup noodle from Nissin (Japan) and Maggie (Nestle) and recently some companies from South east Asia to have offering in cup noodles category...but yet to try....I have been watching your video and I have become a "fan" of Japanese people for their humbleness, eye for detail, devotion, dedication and simplicity.
I would pay to have the All-in-one Hot Pot's shipped to me in bulk 😭🇺🇸
Love guioza so much I'd definitely buy this tons of times as well hahaha so much innovation, Japanese people are so creative. The way Paolo and Maiko relate is adorable, they're like the best friends ever ❤
The Udooooon! Wish we had it here as well
At 5: 28 In germany we would not be allowed to use the "Quick cookies noodels" because of its shape ... 5:28
I think a _loose_ perm could actually work for him. Like gentle waves, not tight curls. Then use some pomade to give it a bit of body.
Paolo we've had that sauce packet in Australia since 1990 (the one at 9:00)
it was invented in Australia
We wish we had this in the US. Our similar stuff is the microwave stuff. The big push now days in our local grocery stores is the "healthy" microwave stuff 🤣
the sauce packets seem pretty good with the chocolate and stuff, kinda wild to think the Australia has had them with regulars sauces since the 90s and not done that
Our costco now sells those ajinomoto gyozas now. It's amazing and you get a huge amount of them!
Aloha 🤙 from Honolulu! Great video, Paolo. Interesting stuff.
ASMR gyoza 🥟✨
I've never seen microwave spaghetti in the US and is such a missed opportunity. I love it as a simple meal but hate dirtying so much to boil the noodles and heat up the sauce.
I love to experience Japanese self-heated train bento boxes one day.
Yuri is so humble and a pleasure to watch
I was going ok until you got to the udon hotpot - I’m so hungry now I’m going to have to get something to eat! Great video Paolo and Maiko. Your laugh in the background makes me smile Maiko! Thanks guys and take care.
I absolutely love the combined condiments, came across that when we went to Disneyland Tokyo of all places for our hot dogs. Very ingenious!
that sauce packet used to come in lunchables back in the 90's exact same design
4:02 Mama mia....
For those that haven't bought the hot sauce yet- DO IT! Such good flavor and potent. I only put a few drops in dishes like chilli and its great
The bread part reminds me of toaster strudels
Paolo hairstyle is popular in the Philippines way back in 2010, we used to rock that style in elementary and high school, and i think it was inspired by dragon ball z 😂
Not here yet. As for the pasta we have the option of pot size which is half the length of the regular pasta size.
Hi Paolo! Greetings from Chile ❤These kind of products are not seen in non-asian countries 😢 it's quite hard to find easy to prepare, well balanced products. Also you don't find very often umami flavors, so whenever I want to eat something like that I have to go to an Asian market, and everything there is around 4 times the original price (A miso cup noodle costs around 4.20 dollars each)
These are all specifically Japanese. Don't put Asians together as a single ethnic group. Japanese products are not the same as inferior Chinese & Korean knockoffs. Is Chilean culture the same as Mexican culture? Are all Latin American culture & cuisine the same?
The thing that you do @ 4:20 was already available in India during late 90's and even was getting exported to US. Pre-cooked curries came in hard plastic bags that can be kept outside or in the fridge. You could simply boil water in a pot and place the unopened pouch for a few minutes in the pot and that was it. Hot tasty food was ready to eat. But due to the push to avoid plastic both in India and in the US, the product didn't fly out well.....
I would definitely try some of these.
The Udon Hotpot looks delicious.
👅
That soup looks amazing! I need to order something like this. 😀
I'm happy to see you and I hope that you guys will recover for the storm. I will be there next year
i want them all!
A piece of my soul withered and died when Paolo broke that spaghetti. 😱
The biggest thing I see here is how Paolo's belly does not feel bloated in these eating videos he does
Its good to see you again brotha. I know that you are busy but I hope that you post more brotha. I love your content and I miss the GTR. LOL. Blessings to you and your family brotha.
I would like a 7/11 in Germany, with everything like in Japan and also affordable. The pasta bags in particular looked really good, maybe a little too watery, if the taste is right it's fine.
We need all off this in America. PLEASE!!
All-in-one hot pot is marvelous! Thanks, Paolo
Thing with the pasta though is that a fresh pasta takes 3 minutes to cook (not including boiling the water) so are you saving time when it takes 13 minutes to microwave it?
The last one would be a real bummer for me, as I am sure you can't heat this on an induction stove , so I would have to make a pot dirty 😅
that gyoza reminds me of Pierogi's in a way
The one hand ketchup mayonnaise packet is good
I need an explanation of the microwaveable ice cubes 🧊 🤯
2:54 so I had like a 1/16th of a bottle left(such small bottles for a hot sauce lover😭😭) and made a salsa verde with crazy amount of peppers. I added some water and shook the bottle clean and added it to the mixer, crazy enough, the taste of you hot sauce actually punches through everything else🤯. Imo still not hot enough though🤪
Actually the squeeze sauce condiments is something that I believe several diners (Denny’s, ihop, etc) have utilized in the states for at least a decade or two. Otherwise everything is very cool.
Natural instant food. That's next level!
you mean whole foods. since Instant food needs lots of preservatives to be profitable.
I could eat all of these! But would have trouble with the (short) pasta for ummm....obvious reasons.
Watching this while eating pizza with Paulo’s hot sauce on it as always.
Can’t wait for the new one for my partner who is less heat tolerant than me
picked up some paolo from tokyo hot sauce from tsukiji market a while ago, can't wait to try the new flavour!
My man is won at his life.
Love the channel. Watching from California
Thanks for watching!
Me too!
Very cool food packaging! I’m not for heating up foods in plastic bags but that udon looked really good!
watching this along with my usual Friday night routine- Friday Night Lights
where do you buy it @paolofromtokyo?? is it like a supermarket? or there is a special store to sell that?
because you wouldn't find that at dawson or seven eleven right?
The land of innovation and inventions
I love you Paolo. But that Carbonara looks *atrocious* 😂
I felt every Italian just faint when u broke the pasta!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 but I was just laughing cause I have to do it to for my nan cause she has bad arthritis and can’t use her one hand so it’s difficult for her to twist up pasta on her fork at times. So I break the pasta to make easier for her to pick up. But every time I do it when someone is over, I always hear a *gasp* when I do it. It’s always funny till I have to explain why.
The Ajinomoto gyoza was/are at select Costco’s in the US starting in the northwest region. I definitely want to try it, but our Costco is usually last to get stuff.
Paolo, you make these videos interesting. From telling facts, and filming people of their work, you really make it interesting. I’m a subscriber, good job man!
Glad you enjoy it!
I love the break in middle of episode to talk about Paolo’s hair. It definitely gives Badtzmaru vibes!
Hello from Kentucky! I have never seen anything like that in my area. One day hopefully lol I want the udon hotpot yum
all of them
Those pasta part have trigger a lot of italian viewer
