And they put either truffle or caviar in. And maybe gold on top. Still the last place's sandwich was legit and they didn't just throw that stuff on. The beef looked great.
Imagine being a local of buffalo and being given a piece of pork drenched in buffalo sauce by a restaurant with them calling it buffalo wings. Its not that different. Its a good sandwich sure. But why include it in a worthit cheesesteak episode when its obviously not a cheesesteak? I love vegetarian options, but vegetarian options try too hard on trying to present meals as meat substitutes instead of trying to sell them as what they are-- a really good cheese mushroom sandwich.
@@rubyrose49 whenever she complimented that place, she seemed more focused on the drinks and not the sandwich which was the part she was supposed to be judging
Quinta's impressed "Jesus" after Steven correctly guesses which knife Andrew wants - same, Quinta, same lol. And Andrew's delighted surprise at Steven's correct guess was just adorable.
idk where everyone in the comment section got "vegan" instead of "vegetarian" from. the cheese nullifies the vegan part but is still vegetarian appropriate
I love that she's giving her honest opinion! As much as I love this show, it can be pretty obvious when the guys aren't that into something. I get that they're trying to be positive, but it was very refreshing that she just was like 'I don't really dig this' lol
It's probably either a condition of getting the restaurant's participation or simple politeness that you've visited somewhere, spoken with the chef and now don't want to trash their food and then broadcast that all over the internet.
But she didn't criticize the flavor of the food. She criticized the fact that there wasn't meat. That's just being close minded. I dont appreciate that in culinary critic.
Everyone's so hurt that Quinta wasn't happy about the vegetarian "cheese steak", never mind that it's her opinion, but also not recognizing that she chose it as her winner at the end🤣🤣
I understand Quintas reaction though. It was like theres an iconic dish from your home country or state and someone makes it, calls it that, but leaves out the main ingredient. I appreciated her honesty: i understood its a really good sandwich but its just not a cheese steak. She only said it directly when they kept asking her why she didnt like it or why her rxn was like that, she ended up having to be more direct. The part where they chose the knife was so cute
I agree. I think I would also be like "it is a really good sandwich. I would eat this, but i wouldn't exactly call it a cheesesteak" if I didn't feel the same. I understand why people have issue with her comment, but it's honesty and it doesn't taste to her as it does to them
I agree, honesty from presenters on these sorts of shows is so refreshing. Often they just give half-hearted responses and hold back on what they really think
IKR, in the beginning they started actually choosing favorites. But after a season or two just say that everything is nice. It makes sense from their point of view though. Restaurants are not really going to open the door for you if you try to critique their food, or say it wasn't worth it. Sean Evan even kind of called them out on it, when he asked about the $2000 pizza.
I doubt that they go to these restaurant blind. They may have done some researches before choosing the restaurants. But there could be a (huge) possibility that they are getting sponsored so......
I hate to sound critical, but I hate when people mislabel food like this. It's a fried vegetable sandwich, can't have the word steak in it if it doesn't have steak in it.
Exactly! Why are you calling it vegan cheese when it is not cheese?! This is a mushroom sandwich not cheese stake sandwich. I dont know even why it is in this episode
Hahaha, its a veg version of a cheesesteak. A veg take on cheesesteak. I mean if you found a purple cucumber would you throw a fit saying “tHiS iS nOt A cUcUmBeR tHeYrE sUpPoSeD tO bE gReEn” like fuc guys
Steven and Andrew's friendship has grown so much throughout the series to the point where Steven can guess what KNIFE Andrew wants at 10:00... that's friendship GOALS everyone
Didn’t mean to upset anyone:) I do really enjoy her appearances just saying it messes with Steven and Andrews vibe is all. Jeez throttle back the hate people.
Restaurants know that there ain't a goddamn cheesesteak on the planet worth $120, so they all throw in some champagne in with the meal to justify the cost. I dig it.
*○* She kind of had a right to be judgemental about the vegetarian cheese steak, because it's her Hometown dish and not just any Hometown dish, a dish that is *"meat"* based emphasis on the *"meat"* so when she heard that there was no meat in it of course she was very critical about it. and she still gave the dish it's credit that it was tasty but Alas you can't call it a philly cheese steak. Even Andrew agreed with her.
@@blitzkriegdragon013 She wasn't judgemental because she thought it would be bad, she was judgmental because it was vegetarian. it's like having spaghetti without noodles. I'm sure it would be good but it's not what it says it is It's an episode on philly cheese steak and there is no steak.
@@godhand416 I've seen a lot of people frame it like that, but that doesn't make sense to me. She knew it would be a vegetarian spin, it wasn't a surprise. She made up her mind before trying it then acted rather childishly about the whole thing, until they got her to extrapolate. She could've just had a bite and went "I'm really not a fan of this".
With the vegetarian one! She was so negative/closeminded she didn't even want to admit it was good. She was shaking her head, rolling her eyes, acting like she didn't want to eat it. Like... sorry b that its vegetarian but is it THAT big of a strain on your life that you have to act like its the worst thing to ever happen? she was so rude. and apart from that, she kept shutting Steven down. She totally killed the whole vibe of the episode man.
Mestizo liftr I have always thought of the show as trying 3 good places and picking the best for the price, not criticizing which one has better or worse food
but then she chose it as the winning sandwich! that's what was the worse part of it-- she dissed it, hardly took a bite, and then chose it as the worth it winner. Not cool.
RebelRhiannon but in order to pick the best out of something you need to compare them, don’t you think? And criticizing which one has better or worse food is one of the two main parts of this comparison (along with price, which is already known to the audible).
Brandi Fleming She liked the overall experience, with the cocktail and the sandwich it was her worth it. She was just upset that they gave her a vegetarian option when its a meat sandwich episode. She pointed out that it was a good sandwich just...not a cheese STEAK, which i agree.
Quinta keeps it real. Not everything you'd eat you'd like. Her facial expression's were dry though. Her being there reminded me why I like just the three guys.
What people don’t get is that the amount of truffle they incorporated in the last sandwich makes sense. It’s a mushroom, cheesesteaks have mushrooms. It’s just an expensive mushroom
Psychedelicqat it’s technically a mushroom but it really barely barley barely tastes like a mushroom. A mushroom is very meaty especially more expensive mushrooms but they In no way taste like a mushroom they are veeeeeeeeery different
Are we all watching the same episode??? People are acting like Quinta dropped their food on the floor or something. Geez. She was a great guest and just has a keep it real/loud personality leave her alone. Also I would be confused too if I came for cheese steak and ended up with mushrooms. She was honest and STILL even tried it. To go as far as say "I HATE HER" y'all need to grow up.
11:53 Steven was quite uncomfortable with Quinta calling other place trash, if the food is good, it's def not trash even if it's not authentic philly cheesesteak.
Expensive Caviar Pringle Viewers: this is a monstrosity , that is not a taco. Meatless Cheesesteak Quinta: You can't call it a cheesesteak without the meat. Viewers: She so negative!!!! k.
It’s not negativity she’s just an authentic Philadelphian. I and my entire family is from Philly and it’s part off the culture and cheesesteaks are sacred and are very specific like outside of the certain guidelines just call it a hoagie. And where I know that place it great if they wanted more authentic vegan/vegetarian cheesesteak they should’ve gone to Blackbird right off of South St and then tried their vegan root beer bbq wings!!
I'm not even vegetarian/vegan or anything; don't even particularly like mushrooms, but she acted like it was poisonous, even though she later admitted it was indeed tasty. She's free to say it's not a cheesesteak and I'd be inclined to agree, but she doesn't have to be a little baby about it. People being overly proud of idiotic traditions, basically. "Sacred" my ass, it's a sandwich, stop acting like Philadelphia built the culinary pyramids of Gizah, by putting steak, onions and cheese on bread.
Phazz A baby? So, you dont like when people express thier honest opinions? Im from Philly, and I agree with everything she said. That was just a mushroom sandwich, not a cheese steak. To even be called a cheese steak, it needs to have steak in it. lol
Melissa Nguyen i got it too. and i’m wondering if they’re aware of it bc it looks like the company just used some of their clips to better connect with who they’re advertising to, without their permission
I was prepared for the girl to be annoying bc of everyone's comments. But she didn't say it was nasty so she didnt diss the chef. She even said it was tasty. All she really said was she would prefer meat which is okay. Y'all are overreacting

Sean Evan even kind of called them out on it, when he asked about the $2000 pizza.
Well it's BuzzFeed so they love everyone and everything except whites and males
Sven Last Name True
I doubt that they go to these restaurant blind. They may have done some researches before choosing the restaurants. But there could be a (huge) possibility that they are getting sponsored so......
Lol the way Quinta watches Adam eat
she thirsting
Kinda sexy🤣
Steven's like:
"I want I want I want"
Cuteeee
This could be a new series: Quinta Watches Adam Eat.
Ear Regardless umnhhh
Ear Regardless regardez 2:56
Ear Regardless 6:46
Ear Regardless et 12:23
They should do worth it: RICE.
CheeseSteaks are made with CHEESE AND STEAK. Making it vegetarian doesn't make it bad it just makes it not a cheesesteak.
Maddie Cats32 cheese is milk but people still call it vegan cheese
Madison Courtney thats not cheese
Madison Courtney no one called it vegan, they called it vegetarian. Vegetarian is when you can still have dairy products.
Madison Courtney also there is vegan cheese which isn’t actually cheese/dairy, it’s just a substitute for it.
i vividly remember watching this and now quintas grown so much!! it's so crazy watching her on abbott when i used to watch her youtube
I hate to sound critical, but I hate when people mislabel food like this. It's a fried vegetable sandwich, can't have the word steak in it if it doesn't have steak in it.
Michael Olin fr!
@@rorykilmartin9964 no such thing as a vegetarian steak. It defies the spoken language.
Michael Olin it still looked great though
Steven and Andrew's friendship has grown so much throughout the series to the point where Steven can guess what KNIFE Andrew wants at 10:00... that's friendship GOALS everyone
It's soo deep.
Yeah we saw the video
9:57 when Steven knew exactly what knife Andrew wanted 😩😭😍
QUINTA BRUNSON?!?!?! Omg they’re in the presence of greatness!
And also... don’t mess with the Steven and Andrew vibe. I love Quinta, but these dudes make the show.
Derek Harris you obviously don’t love her if having her here is that big of a deal to you
shes just guesting..
don't worry they'll never go back to Philly again so we'll have no reason to ever see her face...
This.
I dig it.
There’s a $214 grilled cheese in NYC that doesn’t even come with champagne
@@Mike-mt4ln well it's NYC so..... $$$$$
TheHvk lol 😂
*○* She kind of had a right to be judgemental about the vegetarian cheese steak, because it's her Hometown dish and not just any Hometown dish, a dish that is *"meat"* based emphasis on the *"meat"* so when she heard that there was no meat in it of course she was very critical about it.
and she still gave the dish it's credit that it was tasty but Alas you can't call it a philly cheese steak.
Even Andrew agreed with her.
HELLLOOOOO!!! everyone's hating on her in here. But yes. Ur comment. SPOT. ON. 💞
EXACTLY!
You can not like something without licking it like a dog, then making a pouty face the whole time.
@@blitzkriegdragon013 She wasn't judgemental because she thought it would be bad, she was judgmental because it was vegetarian.
it's like having spaghetti without noodles.
I'm sure it would be good but it's not what it says it is
It's an episode on philly cheese steak and there is no steak.
Steven is so cute! "I want I want I want~~" He's like a baby lol
Steven went from 4 to 40 real quick
“I want I want!”
“Thank you.”
*guys everything in the world can’t taste good, the fact she’s not scared of being honest is great,*
*but she said it tastes very good she just hated the fact that it has no meat in it*
No. It's not great. Hiding under the disguise of honesty doesn't hide the fact that she was incredibly close minded and negative
Alana McConnell *but how was she being negative?*
She acknowledged that it was nice, but didn't want to say it. SHE WAS TERRIFIED OF BEING HONEST.
I just got a credit card ad with them in it lololoooool
HXPE MAN same
Me too😂
Saaameeee
The way she stares at Adam when he eats that 1st cheesesteak...
2:57
I was surprised what Quinta said and she was very real , nothing against the guys but I hardly see them criticise a meal,
Mestizo liftr Exactly.
SM23_ She seems like a very close-minded person. At least taste the sandwich before criticising it, cheez
Quinta is being completely valid. That was NOT a cheesesteak. That's a sautéed veggie sandwich with cheese. There was no steak on that sandwich
TheHilltopperNation LOL. So true...
Brandi Fleming she said it tasty but its not a cheesesteak
Brandi Fleming She liked the overall experience, with the cocktail and the sandwich it was her worth it. She was just upset that they gave her a vegetarian option when its a meat sandwich episode. She pointed out that it was a good sandwich just...not a cheese STEAK, which i agree.
Quinta keeps it real. Not everything you'd eat you'd like. Her facial expression's were dry though. Her being there reminded me why I like just the three guys.
Steven: "I want I want I want"
My heart--
where does he say it?
What people don’t get is that the amount of truffle they incorporated in the last sandwich makes sense. It’s a mushroom, cheesesteaks have mushrooms. It’s just an expensive mushroom
Psychedelicqat it’s technically a mushroom but it really barely barley barely tastes like a mushroom. A mushroom is very meaty especially more expensive mushrooms but they In no way taste like a mushroom they are veeeeeeeeery different
I don't think it can be called a cheese steak if there is no steak.. Still looked yummy tho
Call it a Cheese Mushroom
*Ba dum tis*
funny af
ugh....these videos always make so hungry.....IT'S A TRAP!
He’s really right
me too
Worth it AKA Diet Killers
LOL
I adore how Quinta said eww at the cheers the way Andrew did in the beginning and he's all about that life with Steven now 😂💁
They are gay?
Are we all watching the same episode??? People are acting like Quinta dropped their food on the floor or something. Geez. She was a great guest and just has a keep it real/loud personality leave her alone. Also I would be confused too if I came for cheese steak and ended up with mushrooms. She was honest and STILL even tried it. To go as far as say "I HATE HER" y'all need to grow up.
This is the most hate I've seen for a guest..and she didn't even really deserve all of it?? Just say you hate Black women and go lol
Thank you.
I wanna see a show where Quinta gets dragged around to vegetarian/vegan restaurants and the chefs try to impress her palette.
Quinta is a Philly native so of course she's going to carry herself as a cheesesteak and tasty cake connoisseur. She grew up on these things.
SJ Publishing And yet she chose the only option that WASNT a cheese steak. So much for cheese steak expert
Rashaun Browne I don't get the question?
11:53 Steven was quite uncomfortable with Quinta calling other place trash, if the food is good, it's def not trash even if it's not authentic philly cheesesteak.
Expensive Caviar Pringle
Viewers: this is a monstrosity , that is not a taco.
Meatless Cheesesteak
Quinta: You can't call it a cheesesteak without the meat.
Viewers: She so negative!!!!
k.
fighder2 it was almost like a cheesesteak that pringle was not a taco at all
@@wackydude2137 Key word is "Steak"
To even be called a cheese steak, it needs to have steak in it. lol
I got an ad with Steven and Andrew in this video. I am not kidding. It had a bunch of moments from worth it too.
Melissa Nguyen i got it too. and i’m wondering if they’re aware of it bc it looks like the company just used some of their clips to better connect with who they’re advertising to, without their permission
Yeah it does kinda seem like that.
SAME! I think it’s purposeful
mine was some card company
Mine was how to get free vbucks
I was prepared for the girl to be annoying bc of everyone's comments. But she didn't say it was nasty so she didnt diss the chef. She even said it was tasty. All she really said was she would prefer meat which is okay. Y'all are overreacting
Laura Pena Yes, determined to hate her
She's annoying but not all the time. When they hang out at the last place you have to be crazy af if you dont get annoyed by her attitude.
Some people always overreact when it comes to dealing with Black people, trust me.
And so is your comment, therefore, I don't like you either. Plus I'm sure she could care less if you don't like her.
She doesn't have an attitude. You do.
